Second time staying here, everything as.excellent as I remembered. Great location, wonderful staff and comfortable room.

I truly appreciate that DoubleTree is providing opportunities for co-op students and it’s wonderful to see them experiencing every aspect of working at a hotel . But maybe it would be better to indicate that some staff is co-op more obviously, as they don’t have the same level of authorization as regular staff. I only find out that they can’t do check-in when I got to talk to them and had to get back to wait in line again.

The staff who did my check in was very helpful and friendly. The room was really clean and comfortable. When I return back to my room after long day, I found my room very tidy and clean it was really relieving. I love finding my stuff organized especially in the toilet.

I was waking up frequently because I heard nosie from the other rooms especially when they close the door. I didn’t like the noise coming from outside the hotel especially night time. Although most of the housekeepers were lovely, my sleep was disturbed when they come every morning and checking the rooms and when they call loudly housekeeping!!

I've stayed at this location several times since I visit friends in town. I find the hotel staff are always friendly and pleasant. The cookie is a bonus lol. The rooms always feel clean in that the sheets are new, and the carpet is clean and there's a nice scent in the room. I'm not sure if they changed the mattresses recently but I found them to be really firm and comfortable. I slept like a log, lol.

The only thing I would say is the radiator heater is really loud. Not sure if this is the case in all of the rooms. But when the heating comes on, its as though its a loud generator lol.

Hello! This is my second stay and there are so many things to like: I was granted early check-in without even having to ask as they had it in my notes, I was booked on the top floor - my the view! I was given a nice warm welcome cookie and processed very quickly. I love the gym, pool and sauna. Lovely smelling shower products and the room decaffeinated coffee was delish! All staff are helpful and cheerful.

The laminate floors and door thresholds look scuffed. The ceilings by the curtain rods have holes that need patching. I didn't like leaving after one night! A second night stay discount would have sealed the deal, but now I am just being greedy!

Father-Son trip from Nova Scotia! Welcomed by staff, and pleasant to deal with. Friendly, answered any questions, not necessarily dealing with hotel, but things to do and where to go. Warm cookie that comes with the room key as you check in passed a 10yr Olds standards !

Once checked in, if you wanted to purchase something from the snack / beverage stand, you needed to stand in line behind the ones checking in/ out, which at times can be quite long. Not much of a complaint, as busy is expected, but be nice to have a separate line for ones already checked in / just wish to purchase a snack.

Easy to book, warm welcome, friendly staff, modern appeal, clean hotel, user-friendly and efficient a/c, and comfortable bed, pillows, and linen. Appreciated and enjoyed the lightly scented and enviro-friendly shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body cream that were all in refillable bottles, not tiny disposable bottles. We chose Double Tree because we preferred a hotel over sharing accommodations or renting someone's bedroom or apartment (the latter being one of the causes that is driving housing prices up) and because Double Tree was not that far of a walk, about 20 minutes or so, from Via Rail / Union Station and the CN Tower, Aquarium, and the marina.

Continental breakfast was not included. Was a bit more expensive than we anticipated to pay with the additional fees but it seems everything is more expensive these days and price was still a good deal in comparison to other options at the time.

LOVED the warm welcome cookie upon our arrival! The breakfast was delicious. The staff was professional and courteous. We also appreciated the early check-in. A great overall experience :).

I understand that the hotel’s membership program may involve different service priorities, but I believe it important to share my recent experience. After waiting in line for about 20 minutes, I noticed that a Hilton member who had just arrived was served immediately while I was politely asked to return to my place in the queue. I could see the desk clerk was uncomfortable in making this request but it did left me feeling somewhat overlooked. I know the couple behind me felt similarly. To improve the experience for all guests, you might consider assigning a staff member to manage a dedicated 'check-in for Hilton members' area. This way, it could help ensure that all guests feel equally valued and prevent any perception of being less important."

I can not go on enough about the bed. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the hotel I had already been sick for a couple of days and due to body aches and discomfort hadn’t been able to sleep. The bed at this hotel gave me the best sleep I think I have experienced in YEARS. Maybe even my entire life! And I just found out you can purchase the beds on the website!! When I can afford it, My next mattress purchase is going to be without doubt a Hilton mattress! Thank you for helping me get the rest I needed start recovering and feeling like myself again!

Nothing everything was perfect

Location. Room. Views. Breakfast. Location is so superb. You can walk or commute everywhere. Room, well I was lucky to have a room at 26th floor. Enjoyed the suite a lot, and the views were fab. Delicious breakfast.

It took a long time to check-in as busy day for the hotel. Check-in options should be advised better in advance so that people can select what they want to do. Wait or check with alternative ways. Wait for the breakfast Saturday morning. Opened app 15-20mins late. Not ideal when you are in a hurry to a meeting. Other than that, all good and will visit this location again.

I booked this at the last minute after my flight was cancelled. It was a very reasonable price, and I had a pleasant and restful evening. My room was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The bed, in particular, was excellent. I slept well. It's a Hilton Hotel, so there are no great surprises. The location is perfect - right behind City Hall, in walking distance to Queen St, Ken Market, Eaton Centre, etc.

I didn't book with breakfast included and got gouged for a bowl of granola and a tiny cup of coffee. The breakfast looked very nice, but I wish they had a continental breakfast option for those of us who have no interest in eggs, bacon, etc.
