If you are looking for robertson crusoe come Survivor vibe this is the place for you! Lots of instagramable photo ops. The beach is a but steep ( maybe due to recent weather ) and the water not as clear as other beaches we visited. Also take reef shoes as theres quite a lot of loose coral. The staff were fantastic and the food was very nice but they did struggle a bit with allergies. I’m gluten free and they suggested dishes that ended up not being gluten free - so just double check. The yoga Shala is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen and the classes I did were great. Overall is a great experience for a couple of nights.
The bed is incredibly small for 2 people especially in the heat. The bathrooms were a long way from our room - so hopefully in the future they might put a bathroom at the other end. You do have to pay for everything including kayaks, paddleboards , snorkels etc The yoga was great but also a bit pricey.

This is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed! The sweetest employees, amazing food, the pod we stayed in was fantastic! No wifi and internet on that side of the island, which was soooo nice with a digital detox in beautiful surroundings! They offered at lot of nice wellness activities. We tried yoga, learned Thai massage and got Filippinese massage which all were really good.

The location is absolutely stunning. Very private and relaxing. Architecturally the hives are amazing and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The views from the bed straight-out to the beach and ocean were very special. The food was truly outstanding and the best we are in the Philippines. A short 10min walk on to the other side of the island there is excellent snorkeling and a WWII shipwreck literally just off the beach. The staff were very friendly and attentive. And the music played was great and provided the perfect ambience. I would recommend anyone to stay here.
A few things I think could be added to make this place even better would be to have a brush in each room so that we can sweep out any sand throughout the stay. Debris would fall from the roof and on to the bed constantly, so the bed would begin to feel grainy throughout the night. Possibly some sort of hanging canopy would be good. A second outside seat so we both could sit on the veranda. A seat inside the room, so we didn't always have to sit on the bed to put on things like suncream and insect repellant. A table to put our bags on, so they aren't on the floor. I feel the shuttle not being included in the price is a bit of a sting. I think charging more per night, including dinner and the shuttle people would feel they were getting more value for money.

This place is a little slice of paradise. The location is gorgeous - the private beach is lovely and it is also easy to walk to the other side of the island to snorkel at the shipwreck. The buildings are so interesting and the main structure is very cool - you can tell that so much thought went into the design of everything. We enjoyed our evenings on the second floor playing scrabble - at first I thought the lack of phone signal and wifi would be annoying, but it actually felt really good to switch off for a few days. There is a volleyball/badminton net and paddle boards for rent, so you don’t feel bored here. The food was great and it was nice to have different options everyday. There are also some wellness classes etc - we did a yoga class and the yoga studio is so unique with the view and sounds of the jungle around you. Overall we had the best few days here and would not hesitate to come again.

The staff was so friendly, the food was delicious and the setting was gorgeous. It felt like being in a fantasy idea of what a beach camp could be like. The main building was beautiful with three stories and a lookout at the top that provided ample communal space to relax and enjoy the location. There was also a big variety in rooms depending on the amount of comfort someone is looking for, from tents to a beautiful cabin with porches, and its own bathroom!
Just remember that it is cash only completely for your stay and that there is no cell service even in comunal areas. You can walk 5-10 min to the other side of the island for cell service if needed but there is none in camp!

Sitting here on the beach enjoying my last hours at Dryft, now it’s time to let memories pass by. I had a magical week. There are no words to describe this unbelievable atmosphere here at Dryft. To begin with Ellie, the little mermaid from the counter, Batara who filled my head and heart with the beautiful culture of the pre_colonial Philippines , the one and only entertaining Prem, Kenny the gorgious Yoga teacher, and last but not least the staff from service, kitchen to houskeeping, sorry I can’t remember all your names, but you all made my time at Dryft unforgetable. See you soon!

Simply Everything. From the sanctuary, peace and calm vibe of the island itself to the joyful, open and kind contact with the people who works there, over the best chefs in palawan, creative combinations of local ingredients and putting their healthy and unique twist to it - amazing. The beautifully crafted and wide variation of drinks are as well amazing and especially knowing that the locals work there themselves and by visiting Dryft, you’re supporting them as well, can give one a good feeling about themselves. We would like to thank Dryft Team and Mr Paul Edwin for making our stay so so great. Definitely would come back for more! I can write more words to express how great this place and its people is, but then i would need a book! Thanks again :)
Nothing. If anyone says something different, don’t believe them. They’re just probably bitter human beings.

We had an amazing three days in Drfyt. The whole place is adorable. We stayed in a kubu hut and it was nice to have a bit more space. The food was very good , if a bit pricey. The staff are so hard working and always smiling. It was very warm at night but this was to be expected. The place was very clean and we enjoyed the 7:30am yoga class. The showers were great and the shared toilets weren't an issue. We had a lovely massage also. The subdebts were incredible.I would highly recommend Dryft and we were very sad to leave this morning.
Personally we found the chairs a little uncomfortable and the snorkels we rented were not great but loved everything else

It was honestly better than I could have expected. The island was calm and quiet and beautiful. Some of the best snorkeling around near the shipwreck! The food amazing, and the staff so friendly and helpful too. The huts we stayed in had two fans that kept you cool enough through the night. The facilities were always clean. It was the exact reset we needed. So grateful for this place and the people who helped us enjoy every moment.
Not so much a critique on the location - maybe more a sign of how old I’m getting. It was very annoying to have drones buzzing around above us when we were trying to relax. Would love to see those drones banned or at least limited.

We had a fantastic stay at this nomad-style accommodation with tents and pods. The staff were absolutely amazing — friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. The on-site chef cooked the most delicious food we had during our time in the Philippines! The shared bathrooms were always clean, and our tent was spotless when we arrived, with fresh towels ready for use. There’s no cell service or Wi-Fi at the area of the camp but that actually added to the experience — it was a great digital detox. The island itself is small and easily walkable, perfect for a peaceful getaway. There were yoga classes available and massages upon request. We also enjoyed having access to some books during our stay. Breakfast was included in the price - the rest of the payment was easy as we could pay in cash at the end of our stay. Transportation to and from El Nido was also well-organized by the camp, making the whole trip smooth and stress-free. We truly loved our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an off-the-grid island adventure. We hope to come back again!
I wish there were more sunbed and hammock on the beach.
