Staff - especially concierge he so kind and patient and tries to remember names. Then the older valet guys are amazing. Lastly the late night poolside gal was so sweet and helpful too. Mineral Pools and Location- are amazing, would like a tad hotter or option for one hotter. Room layout, firm beds, heated tiles, real creamer in fridge, qtips...you think of everything!!!

Pillows - would love mix of firm pillows and feather especially for us older folks w bad backs.( I asked for some in initial booking).

Loved the pool, beds were very comfortable, room was big, kitchen and available items were a nice touch. The snug is a lovely pub, great food. We dinned at the dining room and it was very good, great service. Front desk staff were nice.

RMT at the spa said to let her know if I wanted more or less pressure, when I did ask for more she kind of snapped at me and told me to wait and see, then asked if I had drank any alcohol that day. Where I understand where that line of questioning went it made me feel uncomfortable. We ate in the Snug and got crab cakes for lunch, then went to the dining room for dinner. Note to the chef, the Aamuse bouche was the exact same crab cake in a smaller form with the same sauce as lunch. Just a small thing to note to the chef since the dinner is quite pricy it was disappointing to have eaten something on the menu from the pub. The remainder of the dinner was fantastic though, it's only a note!

The welcome is lovely and the foyer spacious and comfortable. Our room faced the front entrance and was very comfortable, clean and nicely set out. The mineral pools are a joy, loved the fact they are open late and in all weather. It seemed everyone was enjoying a special moment of escapism after the build up to Christmas. The cocktails were amazing and the food in the snug was very good. The surrounding coastline is stunning so, as we were on foot, we loved exploring and had a wonderful time.

Lovely old style hotel at Oak Bay (a few miles from Victoria centre) Great views out to Sea over the islands to Washington State Hot pool swimming pools and hot tubs. Staff really nice Hotel very grand - with wooden panelling everywhere Lovely bar overlooking the sea

Parking is an additional fee ($25 per day) Pool and hot tuns busy in the afternoon and evenings, first thing in the morning is the best time if you want some space.

Beautiful hotel, with amazing amenities. Loved the mineral pools. Our room was stunning, with attention to detail. We received a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine for our 20th anniversary, which was much appreciated. Staff were always friendly and professional. I highly recommend Oak Bay Beach Hotel. The only issue that really annoyed me over my two nights stay was one of the hot tops were out of service. It was very inconvenient for someone like me to experience that especially in cold days. I was expecting them to fix it asap but it didn’t happen. Also, there should be more training for people at the reception or front desk. They should be aware of what are restaurants around and give more information about the hotel restaurant.

Real, real classy hotel and you can easily see that at the front entrance where you're immediately greeted by valet in long stylish black coat. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Entire hotel exudes warmth in low-key luxury decor and definitely worth revisits over and over again if you're looking for a good holiday retreat. Rated No. 1 hotel in Canada in 2021 Visit the Pub if you can and try getting a table by the window with views to the hotel spa / open sea. Food is actually quite good, much exceeded our anticipation.

This is the most enjoyable 2 days that we have had in years. Next time this would be a 4 night get away You really need to have the time to enjoy ll that they have to offer. we are in Hospitality and I have never seen a staff that is this accommodating from the moment we arrived in Victoria till the moment we left the property and they drove us back to the Ferry in Victoria via the scenic route. Valet, Front Desk, Concierge, Servers, Bartender and Housekeeping, pool side attendants all were 5 Star. You are very fortunate to have such a wonderful staff. My husband and I came for our wedding anniversary to celebrate one night in the Oak Bay Hotel. I've heard so much about it that i decided to try it out. Everything from the moment we stepped foot on the property until we left was absolutely exquisite 👌 ✨️. They provide towels, flip-flops, and a robe in the room. They provide cold water in the pool area to drink and towels for the pool. The mineral pool is warm.We will definitely stay here again.

The soap in the shower was empty, so we ended up using the shampoo to wash our bodies.

Oak Bay was the first stop on our honeymoon and it was the most perfect picturesque chill spot we could have hoped for. We had a lovely large room with a great ocean view as well as a free bottle of fizz given the occasion! Very helpful staff and great pool with excellent poolside cocktails! also lovely that the pool is heated!

You have to get a taxi into town (25CAD) but jt is worth it given the view and chill vibe you get being slightly out of central Victoria!
