Everything! This place is really amazing. It is the first place that I have stayed at in a while that actually has a stocked fridge in your room. The bed is super comfy, there is a desk to work at and a nice selection of DSTv channels, which I did not know could be something that I cared about. The breakfast is delicious and filling if you eat something of everything. I will definitely visit again.

The only negative is that the shower is really sensitive. Move it a mm in the wrong direction and you either burn or freeze. Hopefully this gets fixed and then there won't be any negatives to talk about.

it's not our first time staying at Hudson House. Always reliable quality and friendly staff. Clean rooms and good breakfast. I called while on the road asking whether we can check in earlier. Not a problem - our room was ready upon arrival. Proximity to the "Village" is great. Only 10 minutes away are great restaurants and bars. Very comfortable beds and linen

I recommend just sending a "Handyman" through each room. Check the safe batteries, door handles, but otherwise nothing to complain

The place is very luxurious, spacious and supper clean. Even their fridge was well stocked with everything that is needed chocolates, ciders, snacks. Their manager very friendly. Their breakfast was also refreshing... I liked how they prepare their omelet. And also we needed to stay an extra day and the manager just booked that for us without a hustle. The place was refreshing with their aesthetic garden. I would give the place and the whole stay 20 out of 10...we will definitely call again if we come to Pretoria. Home away from home.

Lovely room, but it was unexpected to have it opening directly outside near the car park. However it seemed reasonably well sound insulated. The staff kept it immaculately clean during my 4 night stay and were generally pleasant. Breakfast was very good too.

The breakfast area was cold, and the entrance to the hotel is easy to miss on arrival. Another sign on the little road into the hotel would help, e.g. to say that the entrance is behind you! You really need a car to stay at the hotel. Like most places in Pretoria, everyone goes around in their little car cages.

Hudson House is beautiful and peaceful. A lovely escape with such lovely people. Rachel looked after me with so much kindness and made sure I was more than comfortable. The beds are extremely comfortable and with all the amenities in the room, I had a perfect night in and the best sleep. The bathrooms are fantastic. The location is perfect if you’re interested in some retail therapy and it is ideally situated to get on the highway quickly. I will definitely be back soon.

The hotel is modern and beautifully appointed. The owners and staff are magnificent, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent freshly prepared breakfast. Lou and Pietro arranged tours and a game drive with local guides. It was simply the perfect stay

Nothing really. You can't easily walk to any bars or restaurants (Lynnwood Bridge is closest but still a walk along a busy road). Ubers were cheap and pretty efficient.

The two rooms we had for our family, had everything we needed for our short stay. The room and bathroom were larger than your standard hotel accommodation. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help out. We felt safe in the property and it was surrounded by a beautiful garden. The breakfast which was included was also delicious.

Sometime Somethings are out of our control and that is wat happened to us. On as beautiful summers day including travel time from 06:30 we arrived at Houston house ,was met with warm smiles and friendly staff, showed to our room and then told there is no electricity

We were back at Hudson House for a 2nd night - again we had a beautiful experience. Friendly and professional staff. Bedroom and bathroom very clean and comfortable. They organised a taxi service for us from the hotel to OR Tambo International Airport - very happy with our driver. We will definitely stay at Hudson House again in future.

Aesthetic, intimate and staff service is top tier!

The breakfast menu could do with some improvements, especially the Hot Breakfast. Also, the menus should be a little more clear and wide in options. For instance, the “Egg Benedict” is not clear whether it comes standard with bacon. So was a little disappointing that we couldn’t have it because we don’t eat pork. Had the menu said, “Egg Benedict with your choice of meat” , then there wouldn’t be too much confusion.
