.rooms are spacious, very comfy bed, pillows and soft clean sheets .the common areas (lounge and bar/restaurant) were really impressive. . Staff are lovely and the barman even adjusts your cocktails based on how you found the previous one. . Food is very generous portions and delicious and the prices are very reasonable. .even the night security guard was great and asked us if after we went to bed he could knock on our door if he saw any turtles coming onto the beach to lay eggs

Don't use the tuktuk directly outside the gate. They charge 3 times the rate, but the hotel unfortunately can't do anything about it as they are on a public road. There's some sort of tuktuk mafia thing there. Again, nothing to do with the hotel, just a warning.

enjoyed our stay a LOT!!! the staff is amazing and they are doing a great job - always a smile on their face. we enjoyed a lot the fresh breakfast and all food & beverage options available. the garden and pool area, as well as the rooms are stunning. really enjoyed the decor and the vibes of this hotel following a sustainable approach. even if we stayed during the off-season/ monsoon time, we highly recommend this hotel to calm down and relax directly next to the Indian Ocean. It’s also a great location to explore Galle Fort and its shops & cafes.

Lovely looking hotel with very comfortable beds and big, stylish bathrooms. Nice, well kept and large garden area and pool served by a bar for delicious juices. There was also an outdoor lunge area for guests with comfy sofas. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was tasty. The put on a beach party while we were there - we had other plans so didn’t attend but it sounded good fun, albeit quite pricey at $30 per person.

This isn’t really about the hotel but we didn’t find the area particularly great. The hotel is styled on being a beach club but while the beach is wide and spacious, the sea isn’t clear and the sand isn’t super clean so it didn’t really appeal to us except to stroll along and watch the sun set (which was lovely). The hotel is also on the main road but there just didn’t seem to be good food and drink choices within walking distance. Easy to get to Galle via tuk tuk for 1500LRK and 15 mins one way so not a problem, just something to consider.

Loved everything. It would be nice if guests were provided with a kettle to make tea as the kitchen closes at 8. A phone in the room to contact staff would be helpful too.

The warm welcome in this accommodation was the best, the staff was so friendly, kind and always courteously. They helped us arranging transports, changing money and knowing the best places in the south of Sri Lanka. The building, rooms and layout of the accommodation is exceptional. It feels almost like your home with this living room feeling. Searching for a quite relaxing stay? Arabella on Boossa offers you a chill out in the pool or a comfortable library with a great beach view and a swinging on the palm tree swing, you will have many ways to enjoy your stay. The food and drinks at Arabella on Boossa were really good. Your can have always the choice between typical Sri lankan dishes or more international ones. The taste and quality is so good always prepared with fresh ingredients we tried everything from the menu. The open spaced lunch area with sea view makes it even more special and memorable.

the only minor flaw was the WLAN internet connection in one room. It was a very weak signal. But you are there on holiday not to be on your phone 😉

Might be one of the best kitchen. Breakfast and dinner was much better then any chain expensive Hotels. It was not beach season though walking at beach was also amazing

Great staff, small but cozy property. The hotel is on its own like a jewellery box. Small but enogh park and courtjard, small restaurant with great chef (cook). Actually, tis is like a upgraded youth hotel. Fancy, stylish and has a warm charm.
