Room lovely, clean very warm reception from the staff, honestly it was lovely. Over the road is a lovely restaurant and next door one of the main Apres Ski bars so great location for food and drink. Breakfast was perfect with all options. I must also mention the Spar which is as good as any i have been in. The showers down there are perfect for a bigger guy like me that down not easily fit in a bath or bath type shower. The Hotel is a little too Warm for me and I had to turn down all the heaters and the bed way to soft for me and gave me a bad back but my Mrs loved it and is now moaning our bed at home is too hard. What I am saying is its lovely and most people will be very happy here. I am planning on a summer visit to Paraglide and would look to stay here again.

If you are skiing the Hotel is right in the middle of the 2 main areas you need to get too and the walk for me in Ski Boots is not an option as just too far so I walked in normal boots and carried ski boots and it was still a long way after skiing. Obviously that can be helped by frequent stops at bars! The location however for all other things is perfect.

Good location, near the area that can see the Matterhorn the most clearly. Very spacious, clean, bright and romantic room with a spacious balcony. The smoked wood flooring made our feet feel warm in cold weather (3oC at night) even without carpet. Good breakfast ☺️

The heating system didn’t work during our stay. Even though it wasn’t a very cold day in Zermatt, it would have been better if it had been working because it was raining all day and we had got wet when arriving at the hotel. So the tile floor in the bathroom was very cold also.

Centrally located and an easy walk to the bus stop for lifts, easy walk to coop for food and bars and restaurants. Great drying room, perfect breakfast before a day on the slopes. We booked this place because it was all that was available at the last minute, but we would definitely return here. Mark the owner is the 2nd generation here and is quite the host. Our stay felt like you were catching up with family and had a room with a bathroom to yourself. The wellness area is awesome! Two saunas and a steam room and a relax area… hope to return here again, one of our more memorable stays on our 6 month honeymoon. Well done mark and team 👍

We loved this hotel. It is very traditional Swiss with exposed beams and high ceilings. The balcony was nice to go out on even in the cold. Breakfast had good variety and staff were very friendly. We walked from the train station which took about 10 minutes although the hotel do have a driver that you can pre arrange if need be. The room was very clean and spacious.

Might have been nice if the restaurant was open in the evening so we had the option of not leaving the hotel however I noticed that alot of hotels do not operate their restaurants so maybe this is just the way it is. The room was on the expensive side however I think supply and demand dictates this as Zermatt was very busy this week so understandable.

the location was within 10 min walk from train station. we arrived after 10 pm but the staff had kindly left the keys for us to check in. the room was spacious and comfortable. breakfast buffet was good too. after a long day of hike, we also decided to have dinner at the restaurant and was delighted with our choice. highly recommend the veal dish and the cheese fondue.

the staff came to clean our room at 9 am, when we had just finished breakfast. we skipped the cleaning for the day as we were busy getting ready for our excursion. would be nicer if they had came a little later.

Great location close to the town centre. Breakfast was simple but nice with rolls, cheese and meats as well as cereal. Property was clean with a small balcony. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was a good size with lots of storage.

Was noisy at night, not properties fault but wanted to make others aware. Mainly from people in the street as is busy area but were woken up early each morning by people heading home after bars. Shower gel/shampoo was in sachets which was just a bit awkward to use, had to go to supermarket to pick up some bottles.

The room was big, decorated traditionally, in my opinion really cool. Shower has also good pressure, and a joy to use. Then the location is very good, near downtown, cable car, train everything. WiFi was excellent. I think it’s a very good option worth considering for Zermatt.

Minor and not worth considering. Bathroom fan, some minor noise from downstairs restaurant, but after a hike I slept like a stone. I call it background city noise and did not bother me at all. Breakfast has many choices, but no variation from day to day, which I think it’s usual for many hotels, but it’s plentiful, enough to start your day.

From reviews of other guests, I was influenced to see the hotel myself. Indeed the hotel room was spacious and full of character. Love the detailed high ceiling, the hinges of the doors, the wardrobe etc showed that the owner was very attention- to- detail person. Even the restaurant was beautifully decorated👍👍

The only setback was the shower area. It was quite high to go into the bath tub to take a shower. A person with knee problems found it a bit difficult to climb in and out of the tub. Had to be extra carefull especially after taking bath for fear of slipping the wet foot😆

The location is at a very good spot and very convenient. And the staff are very nice and provide me a lot of information during our visit. The breakfast was good and the staff always approach to ask if we need more coffee. The bed was very comfortable and I really love that the balcony is huge.

Despite the bed was very comfortable but the chairs and sofa was very very dusty. I could feel the dust float up in the air once we put the weight on the sofa. I suggest the hotel should at least vacuum it once or twice a week. We did extend our stay and I was a bit sad that the hotel staff didn't suggest/ask if we want to have a room in the other side with the Matterhorn view.
