AMAZING ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was a lovely one night stay, our room was so cosy. Bed was super comfy, sheets were crisp,towels nice and soft. Warm and super clean room. Lovely added touches Sweets Biscuits Tea and coffee facilities In hall way was a lovely selection of treats and cans of pop, honestly box for a purchase. Downstairs was soooo Cosy,warm and just so lovely. We will definitely be back but will stay longer for sure. Excellent accommodation,atmosphere and just so perfect. everything went well, as always! Our room was really comfortable, very clean, had everything we could need, bed was amazing, we slept so well! All staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. Obviously, Joe at breakfast is the most amazing of all staff with Steve, (although we didn't see him this visit) comes a close second. Food is delicious with breakfasts being particularly delicious! We love how well cared for the whole place is...the pots outside are always so well tended, very colourful and inviting, the decor inside is uniquie and just lovely, (must be a nightmare to dust, however, it is always dust free!) the Grantham Arms is a place we return to because it is just so good!

This is a lovely pub, great for food and drinks. The breakfast is particularly great and you can customise orders from the menu; they also carter for allergens very well. The staff are definitely one of the best parts about staying at the Grantham Arms. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating - they really make you feel at home! We've stayed here a few times over the past few months due to visiting family in the area and every time the rooms have been perfect for us. We were even lucky enough to enjoy a free upgrade on one trip to the private deluxe doubles round the back of the pub, which was was amazing. Everything is comfy and clean. We'll keep coming back here when visiting Boroughbridge.

everything. Everyone was great, so kind and helpful. The Inn and rooms were amazing, we loved it all. We were greeted by Joe, who could not have been nicer, welcoming us and our dog. And our room was spotless, comfortable, beautifully decorated, with a huge, cosy bed. There was plenty of space for our huge dog and her bed, the bathroom was spacious, sparkling clean and well fitted out. We had dinner there, it was delicious, as was ou breakfast. This was the best place we have ever stayed in, and we travel a lot. And it is very reasonably priced for what you get, which is so much.We will definitely return. Thank you so much for your kindness, and for giving us such a great stay.

Lovely run pub/ b and b, check in was great and shown to room. Room was amazing, great size and lovely and clean. Coffee and tea facilities available along with biscuits in the room. Towels and bedding lovely and clean, and shower products really nice. We had a late lunch which was great, pizzas are fantastic and the ale great. There’s a really nice feel to the pub and you feel welcome. We also had our evening meal in the pub which we couldn’t fault. Fish and chips and burgers were delicious. Breakfast the next morning was equally impressive, coffee bought to the table and an amazing English breakfast with locally sourced produce. The attention to detail couldn’t be faulted. We would definitely use again. Many thanks to Joe and the rest of the team for great stay.

The room was beautifully decorated and contained everything I needed plus extra luxuries like a proper coffee machine! The bed was super comfortable, shower was powerful, efficient tower fan was appreciated and it was cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis. I stayed one night for dinner and it was incredible and reasonably priced. The outdoor seating area is a nice touch and although it was popular in the evenings, I still found it incredibly peaceful in my bedroom even with the window open. It’s super convenient for the M1 and I will be sure to stop here again if ever I am visiting the area.

Perfect location for cyclists completing 'Way of Roses', plus secure cycle storage. The restaurant was very busy, so big thanks to the kitchen team, plus VERY friendly and totally charming table attendants, making us feel welcome and relaxed. There was a good choice of food, and both dinner and breakfast were brilliant. We were very impressed with our room, which was large, modern, with lovely lighting and furnishings - it would probably suit a small family, or special occasion for a couple. Do take a stroll through the village.

Absolutely 5 star We travel around twice a month trying out dog friendly pubs in Yorkshire and we always take into account the fact that of if we didn’t have dogs Staff were amazing and so friendly Nothing was too much when asked We booked a suite which was well appointed and lots of little details that you want but don’t expect Was a lovely evening so sat outside for a drink Such a quirky enclosed courtyard with yet again little details that made it cosy, even blankets on back of chairs incase it gets chilly later on Decided to eat inside just to try the pub interior out and we booked late so were given that anyway The food was amazing quality It deserved a Michelin star We had the seafood starter that was Gorgeous Our mains were fabulous too (compliments to the chef and his staff) Beds were so comfortable so had a great nights sleep Breakfast was great too served by Joe who made it even more enjoyable as he’s a character that you just can’t help love All in all one of the best pubs we’ve stayed at even though we never go anywhere twice we have booked again

The room and bathroom were lovely; spacious, well thought out, loved the Yorkshire theme. It was a hot day when we stayed but a portable air conditioning unit had been placed in the room and switched on which was very considerate. Food and service was excellent. Couldn't hear any noise from other guests or pub below. Easy to find just off the A1

Parking! When we arrived at 5:55pm on a Friday there were no spaces in the car park. Staff directed us to a nearby free carpark but that was full too. Fortunately a guest left and we were able to take their space. After a 200 mile journey that was very stressful. The pub should ensure that guests who are booked to stay for the night have spaces reserved for them.

Excellent food - much better than the usual pub fare. Spacious room, with comfy bed and huge shower. Lovely decor with luxury bonuses (such as a coffee machine, complimentary mints and luxurious toiletries). Very quiet, given its proximity to a bustling pub, with rooms set in a pretty courtyard at the back. Staff were very friendly and made a great fuss of our dog - incredibly dog friendly all around.

Limited parking (although possible to park on adjacent residential streets).
