We like its location though we didn't have sea view rooms. Its breakfast (which was served in their neighbouring sister hotel) was good and satisfying. The main problem was 2-3 minutes walking distance through hotel car park. My family enjoyed swimming in nearby sister hotel too. It was not noisy and we had a comfortable stay after all.

The fact that for breakfast we had to walk to the other hotel. Also, getting to our rooms in the back side of the hotel was not quite straightforward and we had to find our way through couple of doors and corridors.

The receptionist Ben was really friendly, polite and willing to go the extra mile. As the electronic system was not working he offered us a room with a view of the sea as it took a little longer to check in. He was always willing to help. The breakfast was good and slept like a baby in the bed

There was a receptionist their in the morning who was quite rude and unhelpful. Her manner was the complete opposite to Ben. She even seemed quite hostile when you spoke to her. I also don’t believe you should pay for parking when staying in a hotel think it’s something to consider changing.

Saff are friendly they always asking us if how our stay. The place are perfect clean and beautiful you can just walk going to beach and they have beautiful views from hotel.

There's a limited time to enjoy the facility specifically pools and gym.

This is a perfect location for the beach and sea views. You can walk to most places and has a great bus service. The beds are really comfortable and there is plenty of choice in the breakfast buffet. The star of the hotel is Jamol who looked after us throughout our stay. I saw him really interact with lots of guests and was always helpful to everyone. The open top bus trips to Swanage is lovely as you cross on the chain ferry, great value day out.

I did like having a mini fridge in a previous hotel to keep milk cold. You can hire one but I thought it was expensive. That would be a nice added touch.

The room was enormous, and so was the bed. In fact, I had to telephone my wife in the night to ask her to stop snoring.😂 The breakfast was also really good, one the best I have had in a hotel.

The parking for a start, £20???? With hindsight I would have parked outside in the street, it would have been much cheaper. Bournemouth council, like so many have increased their parking rates and times since I was last here, but still cheaper than £20. The room although huge was a bit run down and tired. The guests next door were noisy most of the night, although this wasn't the hotels fault. There wasn't any glasses, neither in the bathroom nor with the tea facilities.

Although the outside of the hotel left us a little anxious, we were pleasantly surprised as soon as we opened the door. The reception and bar area are both lovely and we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. We went up to our room and it was lovely and clean. When showering that evening we had a slight issue with the shower which we notified them of in the morning. The next day it hadn't been rectified but they gave us the key to another room to shower. We were offered another room should they be unable to fix it, however we didn't want to fuss and were content with popping in another room when needed. By the next morning however this was resolved. Breakfast was lovely every morning, we generally went very early so relatively quiet. We stayed at the hotel from Mon-Fri and every member of staff we encountered were polite and happy to help. We did go over to the hotel next door to use the swimming pool and jacuzzi which was lovely!

The only thing I would say is that it would be lovely for the pool here to reopen. It looked ever so inviting while sat there on a hot sunny day.

Stayed here in 2021 in a superior room with balcony. Last year stayed at the Cottonwood but they have overpriced themselves this year. This year an executive room here was ok decent definitely not executive nice big bed new carpets. We needed plug points we both have phones to charge, headphones and my partner his laptop as needed to work. There is one double plug point that is where the kettle is really inconvenient and frustrating. Some sort of USB port but couldn't get to work. The only other plug is a weird round pin socket never seen anything like it so couldn't use that. We asked about it at reception was told we could walk to Asda to try to find an adapter, err I don't think so do you. So if you're staying take a very long extension lead with you. Next frustration was the bathroom which looked lovely, I asked for a bath but unfortunately the plug did not hold the water in,I was wondering why it was taking so long to fill. Then you sit in it and a few minutes later your down to a two inch puddle. The shower head looked lovely massive rainfall head but had no power to it and could only get tepid water to come out of it. The room is very large and was pleased they provided a tower fan but once again no where to plug it and the kettle plug was so far away from bed fan was not effective. We had to request for cups and refills as not replacing them.bthe room is weirdly configured a sea view but you need to stand on the settee to see it and the settee is in the window bay so you cant drawcyour curtains if you want to we didn't. On arrival we were told only apple I phones could pay for the car park which we found to be ridiculous not everyone has an apple I phone I said we had Samsung andriods but no can't use them apparently.

No plug points Bath plug doesn't work No power to shower tepid water

My priority was a balcony with sea view, I got both of those. My room was large, exceptionally clean and possibly recently refreshed. Room facilities were of good quality and even included an ironing board.

Bar was untended, pool was closed. Restaurant and Pool passes for the adjacent Carlton were provided, neither of the latter were available on the day I asked. The rooms lack air-con, this means you have open windows and the delights of hearing a couple very loudly breaking-up in an F-blinding row, or the family with very very excited pre-schoolers who replaced them.

Really good all round. The staff were friendly and obliging the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great. Buffet style all you can eat, and good selection of continental or cooked.

The only issue we had was with the bath. The hotel provide a anti slip mat for safety reasons yet there wasn't a grab rail. Wheni was accompanied by a sight impeared disable person it make it difficult. Which was a shame as everything else was spot on and we enjoyed our stay.

Room was big, well furnished, and spotlessly clean. It is situated on the Eastcliff, with the Zigzag path just up the road which leads directly onto the beach. Steep descent, but an easier climb back up if you wander up the beach and return via the road.

Unbeknown to me, the Hotel was due to close down for the winter months the week after I left. Therefore there was no restaurant/food available there, nor was the bar open. All facilities could be found and used at their sister hotel next door (Carlton), but its not the same.......
