The location was very close to the center which was ideal for my stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The room was also of a decent size.

The window was propped open with a wooden block as it appeared the rope mechanism was broken within the window. If this was removed and tried to reopen the window myself this was quite difficult but manageable. Also the door to the room is also only a latch (no deadbolt or locking system on the inside) and so the room didn’t feel completely secure as a solo traveller.

We stayed for one night at the Miramar, as a guest with mobility problems the staff at the Miramar were attentive, and accommodating to my special requests and went above and beyond to assist me. We paid a lot more than we usually would due to being in Bournemouth for a show, but you definitely get what you pay for. We will definitely stay here again but will book directly through the hotel rather.

Having to pay for parking on site due to not booking direct with the hotel.

When we booked we were not offered breakfast by booking . Co but if we had booked direct for the same price we would have received free parking and free breakfast we did think overall that prices were a little high but never mind we had a lovely stay but we had to check out a bit early because it was our 30yr wedding anniversary party back in Bristol

We liked everything

Love the hotel, ambience, garden, staff. Outside terrace has open sea view and garden which we love. Clear communication. Great for those who seek seaside seaside villa type hotel. We got the rook we requested. Toiletries and coffee tea is of good quality. We really enjoy our stay & will come back sometimes. We hope this family run hotel will continue to flourish.

Breakfasts and dinner were very good and staff very friendly. Beautiful gardens to sit in. Hotel was perfect size - not too big or not too small! Lovely seaview from balcony.

Room was comfortable but very plain with nothing on the walls. We paid £15 per night for parking.

Really nice little hotel in a converted period building still very well maintained. Close to the beach and town center. Clean and cosy rooms - and I’ve stayed in quite a few of them now. The staff is very helpful and friendly, making you feel welcomed and relaxed. Small selection for breakfast but good quality food and a small cooked menu as well so unless you’re staying for a month, I don’t think that is a problem.

The hotel itself is lovely, to a very high standard. The parking was very convenient. Location is amazing. The staff were extremely accommodating.

The rooms weren't excellent. They were a good standard overall but the mattress was very hard. You couldn't open the windows and the air con was abysmal. The shower pressure was not great. However, I would book here again.

For sure Hotel Miramar’s ”countryhouse by the beach” setup is one of the prettiest in Bournemouth. I stayed here in February on 2 occasions in 2 different rooms. Rates were low with winter offers so I felt like it was good value for money. The old building has a lot character but rooms and bathrooms were updated and comfortable. The location was easy without a car: walking distance to the beach, town centre etc. Breakfast room had a beautiful sea view. I would be happy to stay here again.

Personally I didn’t really like the breakfast and wished there were more fresh options. The variety in the buffet wasn’t appetizing. Single rooms are small but that is to be expected, a lot depends on the layout you happen to get too.

Breakfast was expensive for what they were offering, if you wanted anything other than usual breakfast you had to pay extra. Will not have breakfast there again will go somewhere outside

Was charged fir two breakfasts even though I had booked a single room

Every area and furnishing was immaculate. The hotel had a lovely feel to it, was in a peaceful setting. Our balcony sea view facing room was stunning. Newly refurbished and luxurious throughout.

No BBC 1 and 2 on the room television. We dined in at the hotel on our first night and my meal arrived a good 10 minutes before my husband’s. I would have sooner waited and the meals be brought out together. No gluten free sausages available. Most supermarkets sell them these days. All minor issues and they did not detract from a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
