Good location and value for money.

On arrival our room was ready for us early. However it was very cold, we reported it immediately and they said a technician would come up. My husband has health issues and cannot be cold, so we went out to keep warm. My stepson had travelled with us so we sat in his room!! In the end he went and insisted they gave us another room and finally all was well!!

The breakfast was fantastic, really good variety and very well cooked! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the cleaning team our excellent. Our room was replenished and cleaned beautifully every day. The swimming pool is also really lovely, along with the sauna and jacuzzi. Also, the hotel is in a fantastic location.

We had a parking fee of £10 a night to park at the hotel, which we were not aware of. Of course this is not a problem, however maybe being made aware of this beforehand would have been nice. Also, the price difference between a standard double room and a premier double room does not reflect the actual physical differences. The premier double rooms are incredibly more spacious and also offer a sea view- we would defiantly recommend paying that little bit more to have the premier room compared to the standard, we will be doing that next time. A lot of extra space for a little amount of money.

Absolutely lovely breakfast and great friendly staff- very helpful, courteous and friendly. 10/10 for breakfast and staff. Lovely sized room- junior suite was impressive. Good location. Dinner was delicious. Expensive bar and food, but a nice treat and kids ate free if booked before 6pm. Pool lovely. Very nice hotel and would stay again if we ever return to the area.

Sofa bed bit uncomfortable however when we asked for an extra duvet to lay on top they accommodated very well. Unfortunately the sofa bed was still rather uncomfortable. Main bed very comfortable. Housekeeping made beds and gave fresh towels, rest of the room wasn't tidied but that was okay really.

fabulous to have parking, layout easy to navigate. dining room staff particularly friendly and helpful compared to reception, they weren’t rude, just not as friendly as I would have expected on front desk.

bar area not 100% as clean as expected, holes in the wall of the bedroom which, being plaster board would have been an easy fix. TV wouldn’t turn on, we didn’t try til the morning we left so not really as issue for us.

It’s a beautiful hotel in public areas and some of the bedrooms are done up really nicely. I had the opportunity to sleep in two separate rooms and one was far better than the other. The staff are super friendly and Mia and Arun on the front desk were exceptionally helpful. The hotel wavered the parking fee for me for one day as there had been no spaces available and I had paid the council, then the council closed the road for the air show so I had to move the car. A space became available at the hotel so they let me take it without paying as I’d already paid on the road.

There is inconsistency between rooms. My second room had no shower gel or conditioner in the bathroom and the paintwork was a bit tatty and dodgy in places when I compare it to the first room. There was also no tissue box and I didn’t get complementary chocolates like I did in the first room. However the view was nicer and the room was darker. In the first room I had no bath mat and no way of running the bath other than to use the shower head. The telephone kept beeping and the carbon monoxide meter kept flashing in the night even though there wasn’t a problem. The staff were quick to solve these problems, but it does dampen the impression of the hotel a bit when you’ve experienced different things in different rooms.

Breakfast was lovely. Great choices available from cooked breakfast buffet to cold meats, fruits, pastries and cereals. Room was a great size and bedding was comfy. The spa and pool area were great to relax when the weather turned miserable. Staff were amazing as always. Front desk were very helpful and cleaning staff were polite. Overall we left the hotel feeling we had a fantastic stay.

Maybe because our room was on the 4th floor, we felt the shower water pressure was very low which we would like to see improved for our next stay. Some details in the room could be improved. TV signal kept dropping although we didn't watch it too much. Also we had to call hotel to let us in the building after 1am. Could they not make the access room cards work for front of the hotel too when customers could be left outside waiting to be let in

Great location for the beach which is accessed via the zig zag cliff path which is quite step. Easy walk into main town. Great pool. We didn’t eat at the hotel as we found a cheaper breakfast at Weatherspoons pub near by and we had dinner in the town which has a good choice of restaurants.

Parking is at extra cost. The small car park is very tight, if you leave the car park and return to find no spaces you need to find somewhere else to park which may not be easy as the hotel is in a residential area and amongst other hotels.

The staff were lovely, the day of our check out I was very very poorly the manager was absolutely amazing! She let us stay in the room for a couple hours after check out until I felt well enough to drive 2 hours back home. Told us not to worry about the parking for the extra time either. I found the drinks were a bit on the pricey side but there wasn’t a thing we didn’t enjoy or like. Food was also great and so was the 10% for booking before dining. The swimming facilities were also great. We will definitely be coming back!

No hair dryer in the room but that was quickly resolved.

The room was comfortable

Disappointed with what was in room. I would have expected a coffee machine and a fridge. For 30.pounds a night upgrade and room only being bigger room cost of an upgrade to me was not worth it. I wasn't told had been upgraded or what an upgrade included. I thought room service menu was poor. The shower was terrible. No power and smallest shower head I have ever seen. Even my home ones are bigger and more powerful. I was also disappointed with a request to have a balcony of which I did not get and also view was not very nice. Room was also very noisy. Kept hearing people upstairs running about. I also felt one lift wasn't good. I also felt breakfast started and finished too early.

great location right on the seafront and close to Bournemouth pier. car park small. pool was ok but very cold. changing rooms were being done so no place to change before or after. room was great but sofa bed hadn’t been set up or made up. shower great but almost overflowed into the floor as plug needed clearing. room was not clean on arrival, long dark hair EVERYWHERE and didn’t look like it had been hoovered at all!

I read somewhere that breakfast was served until 10/1030… first morning went down at 9.40 no issue… second morning went down as 930 to be told breakfast closes at 930 (both were weekdays) … explained we had came down later the previous day no problem. everything had been packed away, managed to get a slice of toast each for my kids so wasn’t worth the money that day and not sure how that varied so much on two days ??
