We really enjoyed staying in this lovely privately owned little bed and breakfast close to the sea shore. Comfy rooms, equipped with safe, hair dryer, TV, fan, fridge, kettle. Fresh milk in the fridge for your coffee, even a selection of cookies. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, coming up with a thousand ideas every day where to go and what to do. The neighbourhood is quiet and clean, just a few steps from the beach.

The only thing we were a bit disappointed about was the breakfast. They offered only cereals, yoghurt, toast and a few pastries. No bread, rolls, bagels, whatever... Also just a very small selection of cheese and ham, the same every day. Nothing warm, no bacon or sausages, not even eggs. For more than 100 bucks per night I would expect a little more. Also there was only one power outlet in the bedroom and none in the bathroom, that was a bit inconvenient.

A great place to stay and discover North Wales. We stayed for 11 nights and travelled by public transport (bus and train) to many beautiful places in the region (Llandudno, Conwy, Caernarfon, Bangor, Betws-y-Coed, Llanrwst). Colwyn Bay is perfectly located to do some day trips and spend the afternoon/evening at the beach. Leslie and Mike gave us a warm welcome. They are open, friendly and very helpful. We learned quite much about North Wales, Britain (and Florida) from them, it was really enriching. We are happy to welcome you here Germany! The room was perfect: big, with a great bed and a couch. The fridge is great, and they put every day fresh milk in. We were also very thankful for the cookies and pastries. The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was great, ham, cheese, all kinds of bread, bagels, etc. There are also very tasty yoghurts and cereals, as well as jam and honey. For the brits there is also marmite (not my favourite). Fruits are also there.

Lovely b&b that's been in the family for 40years. It is run with traditional values with making the guests a priority and not just about the money and it shows. Everything was perfect. We stayed in room 3 and although it stated a sea view, you had to look around the window to see it as opposite was houses but it was great to have the window open and listen to it at night.

If I'm being picky - Continental limited with just 1 slice of ham and cheese each along with 1 mini croissant and pastry. It is adequate though, together with, yoghurt and toast. I like eggs with my continental, which was missing along with a variety of meats of cheeses.

We loved our visit to Colbourn Hotel. This was our first stay. We had the most relaxing time. Mike and Leslie are so kind, warm and welcoming and so friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Our room was superb. Beds so confortable, we both slept very well. No noise. Immaculately clean 👌. Breakfast is continental and plentiful with lots of variety of options. What a little gem Colbourn hotel is! Definitely recommend. We are already booked again for next year! Can't rate it highly enough. Thank you Mike and Leslie. Xx. See you again soon. There was nothing whatsoever to dislike . All was perfect. Best holiday we have had in years.

The building is in a fantastic location next to the beach and a short walk from the town centre and train station. Nearby is several takeaways as well as a Lidl for any essentials missed. The hosts Mark and Leslie were absolutely lovely people, very friendly and happy to help with any questions. The room itself was large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with the essentials all there including a sofa and even a small fridge to keep milk and drinks in. The continental breakfast had a good variety of cereals, fruits, yoghurts and pastries to choose from as well.

There was nothing I disliked about staying at the Colbourn Bed and Breakfast.

Amazing B&B ..!! Had to write a review soon as got home. I booked for 2 nights everything you need in the room including some delicious Welsh Cakes. Wanted to stay another night which they accommodated but was feeling unwell so they straight away refunded back to my card the same day. Couldn't do enough for me and the breakfasts was delicious, great selection and always asking if need anything and advice on places to visit.. Will definitely stay again on my next trip Thanks again 🩵

Our room was a gorgeous attic conversion with a host of additional amenities - fully stocked tea/coffee, excellent Welsh cakes, towels, wardrobe, tv, vanity table! Bed was extremely comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast was a full compliment of continental. Mike and Leslie are an absolute treasure who ensured our stay was enjoyable and memorable, and managed to get us to a wedding on time. I look forward to a reason to visit again!! Great basecamp if you are driving/planning a tour of North Wales, Conwy & Castle very accessible by train (£2.40), and lots of hikes, hills, and bike trails.

I can't think of anything that could have been better during our stay. Above and beyond only starts to cover it. Do book taxi's ahead of time, none available c. 9am/3pm in the area. Thankfully our hosts ensured our safe deposit at the wedding.

The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The lovely modern room was large with everything that we needed, tea and coffee available, milk in a fridge, herbal teas available from down stairs storage. Big modern bathroom with lovely large towels. The breakfast excelled our expectations, there was so much choice and everything was delicious. We felt really well looked after by Mike and Louise, they were so attentive towards their guests, making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing. We highly recommend this B&B accommodation.

The owners were so nice. The house was honestly perfect. Decor was very well done. Large room and very large bathroom. Tea, coffee, and biscuits with fresh milk and bottled water in a small fridge. I could not find a spec of dust. Breakfast was between 8 am. and 9 am. A good selection of things to eat, plenty of juice and coffee. If you like the finer things, then you will love the Colbourn B&B. it is far more than a B&B.

I can not honestly find a single negative thing to say about this property. It truly deserves 10 out of 10.

The building has so much personality itself, decorative with lots of beautiful pictures and ornaments, and what I would call antiques.. beautiful throughout. The owners are so friendly, accommodating, and overall beautiful couple with lots of insight into beautiful local spots, usually overlooked by tourists. The views from the garden are beautiful, literally 1min walk to the beach. Cosy, quiet beautiful spot, and Mike and Lesley perfect hosts in a beautiful building.

Nothing to not like, the mother in law had the best time as I did myself.
