Large room if we had longer we would have used jacuzzi Comfy bed and USB points at bedside were handy Warm Plenty meal options restaurant on site Prices competitive with restaurants and cafes probably would choose their breakfast next time

Although jacuzzi bath was lovely it would benefit from rubber bath mat as very slippy and I badly bruised leg after slips getting in and out! Generally a bit dated re decor but clean Had to close curtains as windows faced out on to main road not sure if silhouettes obvious Parking was hit and miss but we were lucky but moving by 10am to nearby public parking would maybe be annoying if staying more than 1 night

This is a lovely hotel, ideally located in the centre of Fort William 5 mins walk from train station and town centre. We arrived at 9pm and the hotel carpark was full. We parked across the road for free overnight and then you pay but it is only short stay. We moved our car in the morning to a space in the hotel car park so no problem. We had a meal at night and breakfast in the morning which were both very good. The room was good size, clean and nicely decorated with a small en suite. There were a few flights of stairs and no lift which may be a problem for some. The staff here could not be more helpful. We only stayed one night but would happily of stayed longer.

Being very picky there was only one pillow each but I’m sure if we had asked we would have been given more.

Our room was the perfect size and we appreciate the kettle, hairdryer and coffee/tea/biscuits. The bathroom was big. It was all very clean. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfast was exceptional and the staff at breakfast were very accommodating. The location is perfect for the WHW end and the view was lovely from our room.

The shower would spray everywhere and all over the floor. Unfortunately the bath didn’t work and the lock of the bathroom was non-existent so there was a hole where the lock should be. It was very loud in the morning at 6am from a broken down coach right outside the window which was then bleeping for 2/3hours.

Couldn't fault this hotel. I've stayed in many luxury hotels of different calibre but we wanted something very budget and wasn't sure to book this as there's a few negative reviews. People obviously dont base their reviews on supply and demand (if your paying £150 a night here in summer then other hotels of higher standards are at least double) Yes it's very dated and some questionable diy jobs and room wear and tear but you have to take things for what they are. I wasn't expecting much but the lady behind reception was very friendly professional and informative, breakfast was fresh made , the rooms was clean and tidy even though there was some wear and tear but again that's what you expect for the price so no need to mark down. Check in and out times are very generous compared to most and the location is perfect plus the view from the window was lovely. For £57 I was blown away. Could do with changing the 80s hairdryers though but it did make me smile at how old it was. Room had big fluffy towels, a towel rail, a bath, plenty of tea and coffee facilities, very warm in a cold winter, good amount and well placed plug sockets, an extra chair and ample storage. These sound very basic but it's amazing how many hotels don't have these things and it's just so annoying. I'm giving it a 10 to bump up ratings as it shouldn't be in the red.

I didn't like the other negative reviews as this is very off putting and like I said if you know what to expect and for the price then it's a great hotel. If you like very modern brand new luxury then this place isn't for you.

The accommodation was right next to the city centre with free parking and very friendly staff. Our room and the bathroom was nice and clean. There are lots of nice places in the surrounding area.

The inside of the hotel and our room had a strong odor, but keeping in mind this area has high humidity we understood and did not mind. Opening a window helped a lot.:)

The room was lovely, great bay window and comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast was excellent and so it was the dinner. Excellent Chef in there! I didn’t expect such an excellent quality food in there as the hotel restaurant is not in the list of good restaurants in the area. I was delighted!

The water system is very unstable. I guess is a very old fashion system but it would go from warm to hot! I took a lovely jacuzzi-bath but when I rinsed my hair at the end I run out of warm water, it was freezing cold water, couldn’t get hot water anymore!

The room was superb! Room 20 on the first floor. We appreciated that they fulfilled a special request for a lower floor. Location is perfect, quiet but in the town centre and on the front of the loch Breakfast was good with a healthy choice and service was friendly and efficient Check in..quick, easy and informative We had a bar meal..pizza was excellent and a reasonable price. Bar service was first class

It's a shame there is no lift for those who need it. We managed the 2 flights of stairs to the first floor but I can't imagine the problems we would have had if we hadn't been given a first floor room

The room was really big and had evrything you could need, including an information pack which most places dont now. Tean and coffe and all the usual things, nice big bathroom. All of the staff were so polite and helpful.

The view but it cant be helped, if your disabled then the stairs wont be of much comfort. Both myself and my father inlaw have mobility issues and we had to get to the top of the property, the guys will take your bags though.

We have booked the Imperial room (which is very big) and Master room (decent size) , both bathrooms have large jaccuzi tabs. however the prices are high but those were the only rooms left when we book. In hindsight, can just drive through Fort William town and no need to stay over night to save on hotels as there is nothing to do in that town other than a tiny museum. The staff did try to accommodate our needs and gave us two rooms next to each other, also gave us an extra duvet for the kids. We ate dinner there and the India food at their restaurant is very good, we didn't try the Italian food. Breakfast was included which was also good.

The water pumps at the hotel are very noisy and frequent, every time when someone showers or flush upstairs or nearby , you near loud noises. Also there were some drunk kids outside in the parking or streets nearby at night, quite noisy, windows are not sound proof. There are no elevators and you have to carry your suitcases up 2 to 3 flight of stairs.

We liked the location because it was so central. Very welcoming. The rooms were nice and clean and spacious. AA

Although the bathroom were nice a disabled family member found it difficult to get into the bath for a shower. She managed the stairs to the room taking her time. When booking, I found it difficult to ask these disability questions. Not very busy at breakfast and the waiter forgot one order but duly served and apologies given.
