Really like the location....the underground parking....the relaxed foyer ...the staff...the quiet rooms with comfy beds and the restaurant that serves real food of good quantity at reasonable prices. A room that includes executive lounge access as part of the package is well worth having. We've been here multiple times now and have no reason to look elsewhere if the standards remain the same.

I'd like to see the plates for the self service cooked breakfasts pre-warmed....I find I'm often eating breakfast too fast simply because I'm aware the food is cooling down quickly. Nothing wrong with the actual quality of the food being served though.

The hotel, pool area and our room were very clean and comfortable. Location was good, only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Newcastle. Our room had excellent views of the Tyne Bridge and the river. Plenty of choice for breakfast. All the staff very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our first visit to this hotel and would definitely return.

It didn't matter what we tried to change with the air conditioning controls we couldn't turn down the temperature, so was a bit hot at night for us. I would also suggest that the car parking charges should be included in the hotels price and not be an extra. These are just slight niggles and would not deter us from returning.

Great check-in with very helpful staff, evening bar was enjoyable with helpful staff, breakfast was very pleasant even for a busy Sunday although one toaster is not sufficient. The freshly made gluten-free breakfast was very well made. One family member was asked exactly how he wanted the eggs made (done to perfection) but the other guest for the gluten free option wasn't). Excellent parking facilities.

Shower curtain rail had prev been broken and a very bad temp fix had been made. Spoke to reception who listed it for immediate attention. Booking process - can't recall if it was Booking.com or Hilton but the system fell over and having booked 1 room with double for couple and one room with two doubles for 2 children we ended up with the right rooms and beds but for only 2 guests. Suspect this was down to a very confusing part of the booking system that gave way too many options. Would be much better if one books the room then adds breakfast then determines/agrees cancellation policy. Looking at the system again - for 2 rooms and 2 adults on a diff date at diff Hilton, I can choose from 72 different formulas!!!!!! This could be much more user friendly.

Me and my husband have just returned home after staying here for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary.Im currently on crutches with a bad knee/leg .From the moment we checked in everything was great .A lovely lady called Clare (a member of staff) offered to take my suitcase to my room for me which was so kind .All the staff go above and beyond and are all so friendly .Ben in the executive lounge was lovely on Sunday evening very friendly and kept my drink topped up he really looked after us and chatted to us and other guests. Our room 519 (an executive room) was lovely very spacious and comfortable.Great shower and comfortable bed very clean House keeping do a great job with the rooms and and keeping corridors all clean and tidy . The restaurant staff were all friendly and work hard also to the chefs who cook an amazing breakfast something for everyone. The spa area is clean and nice . We have stayed here alot of times and have never had a bad experience at all . On Sunday my husband asked at reception about getting our car out the carpark so he could take me out for a drive to the market (I wouldn't have been able to walk down the hill and back on crutches )the receptionist put a note on our room to say the car would leave and return back to the hotel this was really helpful to us and made a huge difference to be able to do this We don't normally go out in our car when we stay and walk everywhere so thank u . All staff do an amazing job and work so hard to keep up the amazing high standards of this amazing hotel .However this stay Clare and Ben really really stood out and made our stay even more lovely just by being so kind and thoughtful ,thank you so much 😊 We can't wait to return to the Hilton keep up the fantastic work

Great staff, great service Breakfast quality and choice excellent Leisure facilities clean and of a good standard Room was comfortable and one with a view of the river instead of the road would have made all the difference to the stay

Our room overlooked the bridge and although there was good sound insulation the noise of the road did disturb our sleep at night Leisure facilities were good but small so only a few people made it cosy shall we say The room we had been given (on request of us) had a wet room rather than a bathroom and it felt more like a cleaners room rather than a bathroom in a luxury hotel ,coupled with a poor shower made it a let down. I except with this problem that it could apply anywhere but the guest next door must have been communicating with people in London but without a phone and this proved a very noisy distraction especially at 7am

stuff is nice, room and bed comfortable, good location.

the weirdest thing happened to me: the elevators were far so I followed a 'stairs' sign and walked trough a door. the second this door closed, it hasn't opened anymore, so I was locked in the the stairs. I tried multiple floors, but all exits were locked (one side only, you can get in but not out). eventually I went to the lower floor and knocked like a crazy until a nice employee opened the door for me. the funny thing - the problem is known and it happened to more people, but it's not getting fixed..

Breakfast was excellent with everything on offer, (apart from granola which I do like in the morning, :( - That said, its hard to complain as there was everything else I could wish for). Poached eggs, omelettes, pancakes and more were all cooked to order if that was your wish. Staff were all very friendly & helpful, even at very busy times when you could see them rushed off their feet.

Parts of the hotel were slightly tired including our room. This is being a bit picky though, & it certainly wouldn't put us off returning. In fact we're staying there again in 8 weeks with family from aboard.

Lovely hotel, really easy to get to and on site carparking is handy. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, it was also a nice temperature, which may sound strange but so many hotels feel hot and stuffy, but not here. I got a good night's sleep in a comfy bed and a very quiet room. Breakfast was pleasant with ample choice. I used the gym and leisure facilities, the gym was small but well equipped with Precor equipment for the most part. The sauna and steam room were both very hot, which was perfect for me, and very clean, as were the changing rooms. The lockers were very simple to use and didn't require a coin or padlock. A fresh towel was provided when signing in to the facilities. Overall, a very nice stay and I would absolutely recommend.
