I stayed at the Leonardo for a week. It was a very enjoyable stay. I had a twin room which was quite spacious. Our room was spotless and the beds comfy. I was on the 5th floor which was lovely and quiet. Although my visit was mainly for pleasure, I did have to work online for 2 days, which also worked well, using the desk in the room. Our room booking included breakfast which has very good. There was both Continental and full English available, together with free tea, coffee and fruit juice. I love the location of the hotel to Drake Circus; to the Royal Parade for bus connections elsewhere and to The Hoe. Our daughter is studying at the University and her accomodation was also within walking distance to the hotel, so it was great all round really.

There was a good breakfast selection but I would have liked more vegetarian option for breakfast. Maybe Eggs Benedict or Smashed advocado with scrambled egg.

The hotel was comfortable. The had a meal in the restaurant on out first evening which was good value for money and enjoyable. Staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast on the first morning was good not excellent but it was great for the price. The Sunday morning I asked for poached eggs on arrival at breakfast, I asked again while I was in the queue for the buffet food and was told a few minutes. Poached eggs arrived 30 minutes later after I had finished cereal and the cooked breakfast minus eggs. There was a disturbance on our floor during the night, 2am, that woke me and I struggled to get back to sleep. This would not deter me from staying again as the location was good and I would hopefully be able to request a quiet room as we were on the side of the main road.

I didn't have breakfast. But i had dinner. It was amazing. I've never stayed in a hotel before. And this was my very first time in plymouth. It was luxurious, calming and it felt like home. If i had all the money in the world, i would either buy this place or come here every month and every year. I've been to scarborough, i've been to leeds and i saved this trip best for last. And best for last it was. The staff felt like a family. Extremely friendly, warm, welcoming, supportive and the attitude was top notch. The food was fantastic. Fresh and healthy. The decorations were beautiful. This city, plymouth, i felt like i was in a different country. It was like a dream come true. And at one point i didn't know whether to walk around the city or stay in the hotel because both are amazing. I highly recommend this to anybody and for anybody. Family, friends, couples, single people, perfect place. And very quiet and peaceful. I loved it here.

Nothing. It was awesome.

How clean it was. The location. The size of the rooms

The breakfast, not enough restocking of food or cleaning of tables on the Saturday morning. Sunday morning was so much better. Bar staff Friday night, friendly. However when we arrived back late the Saturday night my friend who is diabetic needed a sugar drink..we approached the bar and was bluntly told, in front of customers that the bar was closed. And of course if it’s closed it’s closed but the way in which it was said didn’t give us a chance to explain. The other customers however sent us in the direction of drinks we could buy.

The staff were lovely, easy check in check out, rooms clean and comfortable, breakfast great

The food in the evening at the bar area was not good, pesto pasta was swimming in oily sauce which was quite off putting, the burger was so overcooked I struggled to swallow it. I thought they were rather overpriced for what I was. No parking available in the car park with some areas cordoned off. After a very long day driving it was not what I needed to try and navigate around Plymouth and find another car park which was obviously further away. Also it cost more to park over night.

Nice hotel, very comfy beds, staff very helpful and polite, good breakfast. Easy 5 min walk to shops and 15 min walk to the harbour. Parking is 10 pounds for 24 hrs which is pretty cheap, although we had a late arrival time and the garage was locked up at 11 pm. We had to park in the bingo carpark behind the hotel which wasn't as secure or clean! Overall, we had a good stay and would go back.

Our room was overlooking a main road which was quite noisy. Our room had an adjoining door to another room which meant we could hear everything the other occupants were saying. This made falling asleep a little harder.

Great staff, very clean throughout the hotel, lots of pillows, shampoo, hand wash and shower gel, stocked toilet tissue as well as facial tissues. Kettle, tea, coffee, sugar... hairdryer, Bible.. working tv, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was good and staff kept a close eye on stock.

Room was cold on the first night. Temperature control not easy to use. I think it only worked through trail and error, more hangers would be great. No mushrooms for an English breakfast is very disappointing:-) especially when it's actually listed on room card thingy.

Cant fault hotel in general room very clean with a limited but nice view from wibdow, check in was seamless with great staff very good location for what i needed had breakfast booked for both mornings only had once as a lot food missing no orange juice and some food bland, but looks like there would have been good choice,, in all i enjoyed my visit

Not much i didnt like the cost of a pint of guinness was overpriced at 6.00, maybe normal down there, breakfast was not as nice as i was expecting for this hotel, some items nice a lot missing, but was ok ish

The location was perfect for our trip (dropping our child at university). The staff were really lovely. Professional and friendly. And everyone greeted us. Kudos! Loved the online check-in and check-out. It made things so easy! Great feature!

- The TV in the room is very old. - Only one USB charging port for a double room. - I didn’t find the “options” clear at booking: it was not clear that breakfast was not included. The correspondence at booking only mentioned “adding lunch and dinner”. It was only at online check in did we discover we had to pay extra for breakfast. Parking also wasn’t clear. We ended up paying for parking and then at reception we were told we could purchase 24 hrs. Had we not spoken to reception we’d not have known this.

Clean hotel with helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Breakfast was a bit pricey! Lighting in the bedroom wasn't good from lamps only. Bed was a bit too firm for my liking. TV in the bedroom was to the side of the bed, not at the end, so watching it was a little awkward. Carpark has a heigh restriction of 2m. There is another entrance at the back that allows 2.4m. This would've been really helpful to know in advance. All small things, but all had an impact.
