Location, very good leisure facilities and a brilliant golf course. Lovely walks by the river Tamar. Really good food and a well stocked bar. Good value

Apartment had a curious design , the bed, though really comfy was so close to the wall on one side it was difficult to get through the space. Any other people staying in the same group , there is a sofa bed in the sittingroom, , would have to pass through the main bedroom to get to the loo and wash basin. Excellent for two but inconvenient for any more.

the property we had was a two bedroom apartment, it was clean through out, the facilities were perfect for us. close to where the wedding we were ate ding was too which was ideal,

the only snag we had to mention about was one of the pillow cases wasn’t completely clean. which when we mentioned it to the reception they got it sorted straight away. whilst trying to connect our phones to the tv for chrome casting to watch film, the tv would not connect to the internet so we could do that, whilst having out chilled out evening in. so maybe that small area needs to be looked at the chrome cast would not connect to the the tv because of the tv and internet connection.

Really nice country club with lots of different activities to keep the kids busy. We only had one dinner at the resort - it was tasty and reasonably priced. We used the place as a base for hikes in Devon and Cornwall and it was great for that - assuming you have a car.

Like most places in the UK, there is no air condition in the apartments and even in warm (not hot) weather, the apartment was a bit hot in the evenings. Also, not a lot of restaurants in Saltash. We didn't mind as we planned for it, but that's certainly something to keep in mind.

incredible views as you drive past the golf course on your way into the country club. welcomed by receptionist who explained all apartment details and use of facilities. apartment was immaculate, good size lounge, bedroom and bathroom. everything was clean and there was even milk in the fridge ready for a cup of tea or coffee. facilities were fantastic, full use of gym, spa and swimming pool. the spa was incredible so relaxing and well maintained. the bar area had a great selection of drinks and a great food menu. will definitely recommend to family and friends.

We’ve stayed at CF several times as it’s a convenient location to our family. Always a warm welcome. Beautiful location - even better if you’re a golfer. Surrounded by green space and beautiful views of the Tamar river. We didn’t cook but the apartment allows you to be very self-sufficient. We did appreciate the milk and tea bags after a long drive. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated along with the bathroom. Lovely power shower and toiletries. Everything you need. The hearing was toastie too on a miserable day. We ate English breakfast in the bar which was huge, tasty and food value for money. We didn’t have time to venture onto the course or into the pool but that’s such a bonus too. Thank you China Fleet!

The apartments and facilities are a great set up for a mini family break. the facilities are clean, safe and convenient for on site no hassle family fun. rooms and facilities are clean and well resourced and the restaurant serves a range of standard family friendly - pub style food. the restaurant food was a good standard and even in very busy times the service was reasonably quick and food served hot. it’s a all on site mini family break and I cannot fault it for the value.

the only experience that we had has little to do with the hotel itself, but it may be possible for the hotel to consider this for the future. the soft play area can become a little busy at times and feel over crowded with lots of children (some of whom are above advertised maximum age limit) playing with and on the equipment. Although the hotel advertised as s rule of maximum age and requests all children be supervised. this appeared not to be fully the case which led to the feeling of being slightly unsafe and uncontrolled. it may be good to have a more rigorous approach to managing the fun zone to ensure and uphold health and safety standards and hold those accountable for supervision of their children.

Reception (Karen) was exceptional. She contacted us by text before we travelled & greeted me very pleasantly upon arrival. She was professional in all respects. The staff in the cafe (where we ate in the evening) were all very good, nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was warm, comfortable & very clean.

Breakfast. One of the staff (two ladies) was not very friendly. We ordered cooked breakfasts from her colleague who was pleasant enough. Because the breakfast room is situated on an open mezzanine there were frequent draughts caused by the automatic doors below every time someone either entered or exited, leading to our food getting cold before we could finish it. When we went to leave no one asked if everything was ok or whether there was anything to pay. However, I had paid the night before, thanks to Karen on reception.

Very friendly and more than helpful and polite staff. The room was very comfortable, clean and had everything you would wish for. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Altho down visiting family who live just up the road, we took full advantage of the facilities, using the pool and Spa on both mornings of our stay - we couldn't want or ask for more. Great facilities and the pool was lovely and warm! We had a really enjoyable time and stay, our two nights really did feel like a nice peaceful, relaxing little holiday away and we will definitely be returning.

If I want to be really picky, the room was a little hot for our liking but a simple request to reception to turn the thermostat down on the heating system for our room was no issue at all and it was sorted straight away. Absolutely no other complaints whatsoever. Happy customers 😊

It’s a beautiful place, in easy reach of Plymouth. The apartment was very clean, spacious and the kitchen had all you need. The swimming pool was great for my 13 yr old, and I appreciated the spa facilities too. All the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. We had breakfast and dinner, the food was very good .

My only complaint was that the sofa bed was not the most comfortable. It was a big though.

Spacious apartments everything you need and more for a self catering accommodation. The spa and swim top quality, very polite friendly staff who were happy to help. Also the food was delicious, yes a little pricey but reflects cost of living crisis. Everything gone up in price

The only issue we had was trying to work out how to put the radiator on, as it is a cold time of the year, it said it was on but was cold, and tried to do as instructed, still no joy.
