The hotel was a in good location for travelling about Scotland by car. We had a very efficient check in and all staff were friendly. The room was very clean and we requested extra pillows and towels there was no problem. The buffet breakfast was good. Nice pub beside the hotel was handy for a meal and drinks.

Paying for parking, this was an added expense and we felt unnecessary as the hotel in an industrial area in Stirling next to a school. The shower wasn’t powerful at all and the hairdryer didn’t work (lucky I had my own). When the sofa bed was folded down the room was very cramped and not a lot of space in the sofa bed for the children. Another double bed would work better in the family rooms.

We have been to this hotel before. The standard for cooking of the hot food was excellent, especially the links sausages and the eggs. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to help us. When we expressed disappointment that we now had to pay for parking, the manager kindly let us stay free of charge for the first night.

We expected this hotel parking to be free of charge like last year as this is one of our criteria when choosing a hotel. We may consider other hotels in the area in future. I preferred the individual preservatives. As I had to balance my plate this time t9 spoon out the marmalade. I think in general the room lighting is a little bit dim.

location was really nice as it was just outside of town, which was great for silence, yet you were really close to supermarkets. it was also listed as pet friendly, which was a bonus and the main reason why we selected this hotel. room was very nice with an enormous bed. the only downside to the room was that it did not have a wardrobe.

even though it was listed as pet-friendly, when we left our small dog in the room to go for lunch, it started barking because of all the noise from people walking in the hallway. somebody promptly came after us (as the pub was right next to the hotel) to let us know that the dog was barking excessively and they have nightshift people sleeping (which i totally understand, as i myself am a shift-worker) and that we needed to do something about this. if you list yourself as a pet-friendly locale, then surely, you'd expect to hear some barking from rooms.

Very easy location to find. Excellent pub grub available close by. Good to have sufficient towels for the two of us rather than being expected to share; (doesn't go down well with my wife!). Comfortable bed and pillows. Adequate breakfast selection with particularly tasty bacon.

Minor similar drawback that we've noticed in the hotel chain is a lack of 'central' lighting in the rooms; reading lights, especially by the bed, are good but the room is dark to our ageing eyes! My wife remarked that applying make-up is difficult due to positioning of lights in the bathroom. NB: these are very MINOR criticisms!

We film Youtube hotel reviews and have stayed in some expensive 5 star hotels but nothing compares to the charm this hotel has. Forrest Thrills on YouTube if you're interested! This hotel isn't the fanciest, it may not have the most up to date decor but I wouldn't change it for the world! It has such a charm about it that me and my wife love. It was the first hotel we stayed in together 7 years ago, and now as husband and wife we now regularly come back here to pop to the cinema on date night or just simply for a night away when the Albion Play at forth bank. This hotel is so comfortable, the staff are the best we have ever had. Honestly cannot fault this hotel one bit. It's always clean, comfortable and most importantly a home away from home.

Maybe an upgrade to the tv however that's so minor!

A nice quiet location but handy for getting to Stirling and the surrounding area. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you might need for your stay, including iron/ironing board, hairdryer, a tea and coffee making tray, good quality washing products and loads of thick fluffy towels. All the staff we encountered were really friendly and helpful and the buffet style breakfast (included in the rate) was fresh and tasty with lots of choice. The Springkerse View Pub and Grill is just beside the hotel which serves nice food and also has a lovely outside seating area, which was good to visit especially as the weather was really warm.

Only small negative would be the parking charge of £5 for 24hrs, but many chain hotels are doing this now.

lovely Staff, facilities were great ! great Breakfast, The Pub Nextdoor was Great . literally Meters away , Staff were Lovely and really welcoming to My Dog. making a big fuss of him 😀

the Room was looking a little shabby but clean , you have to pay for Parking. I think if your a guest of the Hotel. then the Hotel should pay , Because we had a dog we had to sit in the Bar for Breakfast which was also the reception area . the tables were low and you couldn’t get your legs under so you we’re having to bend over to eat. not comfortable or ideal. If that is where you have to sit with a dog . then please , have a decent table to sit at ,

We arrived late (10pm due to flat tyre in our way to Stirling) and this hotel was everything you want when you arrive late and tired. The staff was very attentive, the room was very comfortable (superb bed) and we could even have dinner (pizza) and drinks although the restaurant was already closed. Breakfast was very good. Very conveniently located for us, easy to arrive at night and had a tyre service station only 3 minutes away.

Just to mention something, we didn't find that charging for parking was fair. Not expensive but first time we paid for parking in a Holiday Inn Express.

Location was perfect for us as we have family nearby and we're on direct links into Stirling and Edinburgh. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms were nice and warm. Tea and coffee was provided daily and when we booked parking was free which made for a great price in booking and there were always plenty of places to park right outside the hotel. Area around the hotel was nice and quiet and there was a supermarket right across the road for anything you may need. They also have a good compliments list if you forgot anything essential. They also cater well to vegetarian and gluten free which is a huge bonus.

The only downsides I can see from the hotel were lack of changes in bedsheets; this may be normal but we asked for the room to be cleaned halfway through (we were there for a week) as our sheets had gotten a little dirty (we had a 4 year old with us) and they were not changed. I've just stayed in hotels before where bedding was changed every few days so assumed this would be the case too. Breakfast was good however not refilled as regularly as it should have been considering it was self service and it was a little manic. There was often barely anything out when we headed down whether we were there early or later.

Everything, the room was lovely and the staff were amazing. The breakfast was huge in the mornings and they always wanted us to eat more to make sure we were full. They were helpful with how to get around up there and into Stirling. The bed the biggest bed I have ever seen and was so comfortable I wish I could have fit it in my car to come home with. Great weekend away, next time I want to go for a longer stay.

Just 1 thing I thought as soon as I arrived, I was worried that the light from the corridors would keep me up at nights and wished there was a curtain to pull across the door but it wasn't a problem in the end and I didn't have an issue.
