Location was fantastic...many attractions within reasonable walking distance (from immediately across the street-SkyDeck- 20 minute walk to Millenium Park- 40 minute walk to Navy Pier and apx same to Magnificent Mile) Lobby and room felt like I was time traveling back to 1950s Chicago. Minimal disruption from staff, they will not clean your room daily unless requested...and I LOVE that. Text check ins from management kept the coffee, sugar and toilet paper coming to the room.

Probably would've been cheaper to buy 5 day parking at the garage separately than the $55 a day parking fee... but know that there are no In and Out privileges if you pay the garage directly! Will likely save money to pay parking garage if you are in decent shape and willing to primarily walk, instead of $55 a day thru hotel. Use your discretion...we would not have utilized this option had we known how much we were going to be walking.

The property has a beautiful, modern design and makes it feel like you’re staying in a luxury hotel without the cost. The restaurant inside, Depot 226, had really good food and drinks. Even though they were a bit understaffed they were still very polite and attentive.

The property is right next to a train station so it was a bit loud at night. Parking was also a little confusing - you have to park at 1 of 2 nearby city parking garages and the hotel will validate your parking for $55 a day. However, this was not explicitly on the website so we had to call the hotel upon our arrival. We also had an issue with our room rate being more than what we booked through Booking.com but the hotel quickly refunded us after it was brought to their attention.

The decor was delightful. Loved the vibe in the lobby and the "train" car theme througout the property and room. It was a pleasure to stay at this beautiful property. The Nespresso machine was fabulous, the water bottle with fresh water available down the hall made us happy, and the little decor details were such fun!

Only complaint with the property was that there were no pillow options-- all of them were extra soft; would be nice to have a variety of firmness from which to choose. However, it didn't hinder our experience too much. Another issue: Once we arrived in downtown, we had a question on parking and tried to call for directions-- no one answered. :-(

Review is for a corner king room, don't know about their standard rooms. Great room, big and stylishly decorated. Separate entrance area, high ceiling. The view is great, and the location is good too. Relatively quiet, but remember this is a Downtown area, with aboveground subway lines nearby. The reception staff was fine, no interaction after checking in.

Nothing I didn't like, highly recommend and will come back myself. There was a mistake in billing, but it was quickly resolved within a few hours after I texted them.

Property is modern well presented with good sized rooms, nice ammenities and very friendly staff. It is ideally situated If you are travelling by train from Union Station

Only hotel we have stayed were advertised breakfast included by bookings.com is actually a limited $ amount voucher. The breakfast cafe on site is quite expensive and the voucher amount does not provide for the equivalent of a normal hotel buffet breakfast eg if you want a coffee & juice plus a pastry and cooked egg option the voucher will not cover it.

Conveniently located near downtown attractions including the Willis Tower and Millennium Park. There is a Giordano’s directly across the street and a 7-11, Circle K, and Walgreens on the same block. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms relaxing and well-appointed, and the lobby bar and restaurant always bustling.

Be sure you know how to enter the building after hours. We got caught in a ridiculous storm and could not find our way into the hotel because we literally couldn’t see anything through the rain.

This hotel is clean and practically brand new. My room was spacious and well appointed (the Canopy brand has a great style in my opinion) and the hotel smells wonderful as soon as you walk in the door. The hotel is also in the Loop so easy access to public transportation too. I had breakfast the next morning and it was very delicious (I had avocado toast and a blueberry muffin that was bought from a local bakery).

Parking downtown Chicago is never cheap so I used Spot Hero which is cheaper than the hotel's offering.

I loved the surrounding city and the beautiful hotel. The beds are comfortable. Little is left of concern. Being able to leave bags at the front desk is always a nice option. Only about 45 minutes to ORD. The drinks are very nice.

The motion sensor in my room that cuts all electronics. This includes CPAPs for sleep apnea patients. The hotel would not adapt to that or send an electrician to dedicate the outlet.

The hotel itself was amazing! The personnel at the front desk was always happy and willing to help with whatever we needed. They had great tips and advice on where to go and how to get there. We drive to Chicago from Detroit and we learned quickly that it was best to use public transportation because parking at most places is paid with a minimum fee of $35/hr. If you use Google Maps it will tell you which bus/train to take. There are also cool bike carriages that light up and play music (best at night) they are affordable and great for sightseeing. The hotel has a restaurant so you can order food from your room and pick it up at the lobby or dine in the lobby. We had the avocado toast and it was pretty good. There are lots of food options close to the hotel, some inside the Sears Tower and they were very convenient and less crowded than we expected for a Fourth of July weekend. All in all, I will definitely come back to visit.

The rooftop is still under construction. Hopefully, by the next time it will be done and it will be another nice area to chill. It is facing the Sears Tower and Chicago at night is charming!

It is very nice and clean, the room are very fancy with nice bathrooms and other useful amenities. I liked their shampoo and shower gels. I loved the location, in the middle of downtown, close to the train station and to metro station (when coming from the airport) and to parks/Michigan Lake.

I did not like the noise made by the elevator and the metro, It was really terrible the whole night.
