The hotel was lovely and very clean. The room was cozy and very clean. All of the staff were helpful, courteous, and kind. The evening reception was a nice place to gather before heading out for the evening. The location was perfect for exploring downtown. We would stay again, but we'd request a room higher up.

We were on a lower floor at the back of the hotel and several times for an hour plus during the night to early morning (pre 6 an) there was a lot of noise in the alley- trucks running, backing up/beeping, and moving what sounded like heavy metal containers or dumpsters. It was extremely loud from 1-2 am and 5-6 am, and an elevated level one other time. It kept me awake the entire time and disrupted my heavy sleeper partner from time to time.

The property is very special - the attention to detail is amazing. We were especially enchanted with the elevators! We couldn’t find the room type we wanted on the website (two doubles) but they were more than happy to upgrade us when we arrived. The room was immaculate, the concierge and front desk very helpful and the valet staff were all lovely. We actually stayed here twice - check in was quick and easy. We tried Boleo and the Fillmore and would recommend both. The atmosphere in Boleo was lovely - the staff were very attentive. We used the Fillmore for room service and it was very efficient and well presented. The location is central and easy to get most places tourists will want to see - planetarium, zoo, aquarium, Field Museum etc.

The hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly, the location was amazing, the room was very spacious and comfortable.

For the price we paid, I expect for them to provide bottles of water in the room (and not expect us to pay 4 dollars per bottle). I also expect them to put a coffee machine / station in the room (which is standard practice). Also, housekeeping after maintaining the room very well should place new toilet paper rolls - we shouldn’t have to ask.

Excellent stay at the Kimpton. Staff were friendly. Free bike hire was simple and only a few mins cycle to the lake and the trails there. Loved the free tea and coffee station in the mornings. Room on the 11th floor was large, well equipped (great bathrobes for guests!) not too noisy and the bed was super comfy. I was able to check my bags after I checked out & collect later.

Beautiful inside and out.

Room service sent burnt food to room and took an hour and a half to bring up the replacement. Valet parking didn’t take my car to the garage instead he had me follow him there. Then left me to figure out how to get back to the hotel at 2 in the morning.

The staff, especially Marisol at the front desk and the door men, were very helpful. No pressure on check in or check out times, Even my room facing the street on the fourth floor was quiet. Some simple amenities like iron, ironing board and umbrella were quite welcome and useful. Soaps, etc. were good quality.

The restaurant food was good, but I was not overly impressed withe attitude of the staff and service was a bit haphazzaed.

This hotel could offer easier access to coffee, snacks, water and other amenities in their lobby area.

The location was fantastic and I felt VERY SAFE which was very important to my group and me. It was a beautiful hotel and a good rate for 4 people. The staff was great and I loved that I could text everything to them and they would send it up to me!

The bed sheets had stains on them which made me feel gross. Also, Booking.com and Kimpton need to work out some communication skills. I was being charged twice for my nights when I had already paid through booking.com.

AMAZING customer service. We were there for a birthday weekend, and there was a birthday card and complimentary prosecco waiting for us in the room. I got a text from the gent who check us in 10 minutes after check-in, saying to ping him if we needed anything. AWESOME.

Hotel Chicago, MY PREVIOUSLY BOOKED HOTEL, stiffed me on my stay. I contacted the Kimpton Gray to inquire if they had any immediate rooms available, and they did. I spoke with Shea who was COMPLETELY awesome! He assured me check in if I came to their hotel, my check-in was quick, smooth and easy w Shea. He took care of my family, my dogs and got us an excellent room...even gave my doggies some amenities🥰🥰. I thoroughly appreciated his compassion and customer service.
