My friend and I stayed in a 2 bed apartment on the 8th floor, it had everything we needed, was very comfortable and clean, also liked the rooftop terrace and ground floor lounge. Kitchen had everything we needed and several shops nearby. Laundry in unit was a plus, though we didn't need to use it. Guests can restock supplies from lobby cabinet as needed (extra coffee and tea). We could easily walk to all locations in the Loop and the subway is very close by for further exploring. Lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood as well. Easy check in/out with door codes, and free luggage storage.

Located opposite L train, was loud however earplugs were provided. If you are a light sleeper keep this in mind (though it may be the same situation if staying in any central location. I believe the building had other units facing the other direction, may be quieter on that side. Could not control the temperature, the unit switched between heating and cooling and was either freezing or comfortable. May differ if staying in summer an AC is on. There was also a water disruption during our stay, however we were informed it was a city issue, not the building, and was resolved within the day.

The large room and the friendly check-in process

There's too much light in the morning and the shading solutions do not meet the need. In addition, the windows are not sealed enough and the noise coming from the street disturbed us to sleep. Also, when we first entered the building, a wasted homeless man was lying in the entrance ,we had to walk over him to enter the building which was not a nice welcoming. The lack of a security team all day is probably a problem for this area.

The room was extremely clean and we received more essentials than we have at other serviced apartments: Plenty of laundry pods Plenty of dishwasher pods Plenty of dishsoap Etc The apartment itself was small, and made great use of the space. The fish washer was phenomenal The shower was beautiful.

Minor: 1. The ottoman had a stain on it (could have been cleaned) I turned the ottoman to the cleaner side. 2. The living room furniture was very basic. By this I mean the couch was functional and had little cushioning. The extra chair for the living room was more like an office chair than a living room chair, and had little cushioning.

It is in a very good location very close to the loop. The apartment was very clean, well maintained and well appointed.

The location is very close to the loop which while very convenient can make for a loud outside environment. Being downtown means that there can also be noisy characters around, particularly at night.

It was a great spot. Cool to have two rooms. AC in each room was great. Sheets were clean and nice. Close to public transit and attractions.

It would have been nice to have soup at the kitchen sink. Odd having one of the rooms with walls that didn’t go up the the ceiling.

The flat was a good size, well equipped and in a good location. it is comfortable and pleasant. We felt very well during our stay in Chicago.

The day of check in we arrived around 9pm and asked her if she could tell us where to eat nearby and she said she didn't know of any places. Another day, when we returned to the flat in the evening, she was at the Taco Well next door. We asked her a few questions during our stay but at no time was she friendly or empathetic.

Very good location, places is spacious, well equipped kitchen, laundry in room.

The security guy is so rude and unhelpful. We got to the place around 11PM because our flight was delayed. I traveled with my 2 babies and wife, we got there around 11pm so we were like scared, concerned, tired and all you want is get to your place and relax but we got there and a guy was at the lobby and didn’t say a word to us and I asked about our room location and he told me what floor but I didn’t know so I told him that I didn’t know so he rolled up his eyes and I told hi like 3 times our room number and he asked again what floor and I was like that’s what I want to know and I had to go by myself to look for my room.

Nice and modern. Everything you would need is available, up to the little necessities (dishwasher tablets, sponge etc.). The Sonder chat function is amazing, very quick with help and information.

The beds were a tad bit smaller than we expected.

It was super close to the L trains and local eateries. Very spacious apartment and included everything that we needed for our visit.

The beds were not comfortable and one of our bathroom doors in our bedroom would not shit because it hit our bed frame. Only 2 of our air conditioning units worked…so we had to keep them really cool to help keep the whole apartment cool. Everything was clean except the air vents…they were filthy. Easy fixes.

Its was amazing, excellent location, you have everything near. The security for entry its was pretty easy, amazing View. They answer all my questions inmediatly. I hope come back soon and stay more days in this Sonder. Everything great! I recommended
