The room with a fireplace is very comfortable and the balcony view is great!! You are on the river. We love it!

Always love the staff and the breakfast. Check in is a breeze and we were early but our room had already been cleaned so we got our keys and could put our things in our room, instead of playing all day, then having to lug everything up stairs. Mattress was comfortable and the creek is always a show stealer for my wife! Location is a little far from the action, which is nice. And since the Tram drops off and picks up, right in front of Brookside, you barely have to use your gettin' sticks, until the Tram driver says, "Sir, I've seen you more today, than I've seen my wife...you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here!" Whatever, Larry!

The heater was a little noisy and the tub drain was slow in this room. (Room 265) That's all I can complain about...wait a minute. The fan didn't work in the bathroom. Generally not a problem, but if you have Taco Bell, and Subway, in the same day, it can be. (Ask me how I know) Thank goodness there is a working window in there. I felt a little bad for the squirrel that ventured up to our balcony, but hopefully he'll get over it!

I wanted a quite place to stay with a balcony and a river view. That was exactly what I got.

There were a couple small things that needed to be fixed in my room. Nothing that caused me any issues. There are no plug ins or charge ports by the beds, but it was good to disconnect for awhile.

Breakfast was very good, facilities was nice with lots of room to walk & enjoy. Location was great, enough to do within walking distance and the trolley even stops right at the hotel office. Staff was always very friendly and helpful with any needs. Our room was roomy and decorated with a cute woodsy bear theme. We would definitely stay there again especially when it's warmer to enjoy the expansive pool area.

Our only issue was that it was impossible to sit on the balcony without someone smoking and smelling that so we couldn't sit and enjoy the lovely river running alongside the hotel from our room. They should allow no smoking on balconies, then it would be an awesome place to stay!

The pool at this hotel is phenomenal for kids. My son spent a total of about 14 hours just playing in pool during our 4 day stay. The location I thought was great. Right outside downtown Gatlinburg. Seriously a 9 minute walk and your in the action but far enough away parking is easy and the hotel is very quiet. Also, the room size. The photos do not do it justice. The room and bathroom were huge. I was not expecting it to be so big.

The sheets and towels were all slightly stained on inspection and the AC unit rattled so loudly I had to turn it off because I couldn't get sleep at night and I sleep with a loud sound machine but the clanging of the AC unit was louder.

The pool area was nice, as well as property itself. The room we had was nice sized (roomy). Liked having the coffee pot and the small refrigerator. We enjoyed sitting on the back little balcony and listening to the creek below. Really liked that it was just a short walk to the center of everything. Also it was well lit for those late nights walking back.

The king sized bed wasn’t comfortable. The room was clean but you could tell it hadn’t had a deep cleaning in awhile. Accidentally turned on ceiling fan and dust/dirt balls fell on bed and carpet. Shower had mildew in corner.

Quiet location very close to the strip of Gatlinburg. The river was a nice noise reducer as well!

Could use some updates, or just some sprucing up and better lighting. But for the price I had a comfy bed, a large room, a fireplace, and a private balcony.

We actually ended up staying 2 extra nights past our original check out date, and the staff was very accommodating with that. The night shift workers on Wednesday June 1st and Thursday June 2nd, where so awesome and very helpful!! The room was way bigger then we expected and our absolute favorite part was our balcony overlooking the river. Also the staff serving breakfast in the mornings were the greatest. We will definitely be visiting again. 😊

The only thing I could say just a slight negative is the beds could be a slight more comfy, but other then that we loved our stay!! They weren't horrible by no means.

If You leave hungry then its your own fault. My Daughter and I ate there 2 Mornings in a Row. It was a Great Value with a nice Assortment of a hot meal and cold options. The Staff wre very Friendly. There was plenty of Parking spots available and close to our room. The Pool was Fantastic and the Water fall coming into the pool was a nice peaceful and relaxing touch. The rooms and all around facilities was very Clean. Comfy bed and beautiful Balcony View. I Will Defenatly be going back again on my next trip to Gatlinburg 🙂.

Close to flapjacks...wife liked your breakfast...room was cleverly decorated...creek sounds excellent. We saw a bear!!!: Staff nice...good parking😎

Shower slow to drain....water was lukewarm at best...we didn't complain.
