Very clean facility and the local location is excellent. Very convenient to everything.

Not happy about the parking situation. I have a handicap tag Because of some health issues which means I can’t walk very far or climb steps. but almost every day every handicap parking spot next to the facility was full and all of the other parking spots that are around the facility where full also. So we had to park across the street in a private parking lot that the hotel owns but which means you have to walk along way and across the street to get to the hotel, which is not ideal for me.

We love staying at the Margaritaville Inn. My husband and I try to make a trip to PF every December to see the lights and do some shopping. When you walk into the inn it always smells amazing...just like the beach! The rooms are always spotless and the beds are so comfortable. We had a balcony that looked over at the island that was really nice. The breakfast was great (fruit, cereal, muffins, waffles, pancakes, sausage, gravy, biscuits, bacon, hash browns, milk, juices, etc). You can walk over to the island anytime and avoid all the traffic. It is also close enough to walk to Winterfest (walking trail near the island that is decorated with Christmas lights).

The only improvement would be the internet/wifi connection. It was very spotty and slow at times. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room so this wasn't a big issue.

There was us so much greatness about this Inn! we loved it from the time we walked in with his beach smelling and very clean establishment. Loved all the decor and our room was very nice! Our balcony and view were spot on! We all loved, loved the warm outside pool and the jacuzzi. Very clean and the best sleep in a room hotel and bed was the absolute best! We all rested the best ever as we all acknowledged to eachother. Food was great and your team members were spot on! I work at a Conference Center in Black Mountain, NC a as a guest services employee and your employees were so friendly and awesome! we will be back!!!

The only issue was one of the bed spreads had a small blood stain that looked like someone was trying to clean out but it didn’t work so you should take that out of commission. we didn’t see it until the next morning. something like that should not be used even if you tried to get it out and it didn’t work.

I loved the breakfast and the breakfast staff was so nice and accommodating.

Housekeeping did not clean my friends room one day so we went up front to make mention of it. The next morning they were pretty much pushed out of their room and the manager of the housekeepers maybe a very rude comment that if they would get their things off the bed they might get their room cleaned. No where did it tell us to make sure a blanket was taken off the bed before the whole room would be cleaned.

Location was excellent. We preferred it to being directly on the island with all the noise, but still within a 3 min walk of all island activities. Indoor pool was a big hit with my kids, as well as the outdoor pool. Also very close to laser tag/ arcade/go karts across the street as well as food and souvenir shops. Also extremely close to outdoor gravity park, which imo is a must when in pigeon forge. Main complaint of the room itself was the bathroom. The door was a sliding door that did not lock on the inside, and did not have an exhaust fan for shower steam etc.

Room could have been cleaner, pool could’ve been larger. The experience overall was still positive.

Location was nice being able to walk to the island and other nearby attractions. Hotel was clean. Staff was super friendly. The breakfast was plentiful. Inside pool being open until midnight was nice to not have to rush back to let the kids swim.

Bed was a little firm for our liking, but that's just opinion. We did have toilet trouble a couple times but staff was quick to address it. Wasn't a quiet location at night. Kept getting woken up from the noise coming from outdoors, but it was from off the property.

Perfect location in Pigeon Forge! The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. Housekeeping did a great job. The included morning buffet was very tasty - hot breakfast with eggs, potatoes, and breakfast meat and a self-serve waffle maker station. Lots of other options too with muffins, yogurts, and cereal. Parking is gated and steps from the hotel. Walk right in to the action at “The Island,” with shops, restaurants. and rides and attractions. We could also walk right next door to the comedy barn and on the other side within walking distance was the Pirate Show. Fifteen minute drive through the National Park to Gatlinburg! We would love to stay here again!

Walk across the bridge to the Island. Close to about anything you need or want to do. Room and atmosphere was very nice.

The WI FI was terrible. Could not connect. Staff just said there was a lot of people trying to use it and didn't seem to care about it. Motel wasn't half full at the time. I was not the only one having problems. Was at the desk when others were complaining. Seems like WiFi issues follow me 🫤. Had the same issue at the last place I booked.

The staff, Shantal and Fernando were excellent. Anything we needed they provided. ex: extra blankets, directions. Everything was perfect. I know where we will be staying if we’re ever in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinberg area again. We will and have already recommended Margaritaville Island Inn to our family and friends.

Nothing…

May 2023

My husband and I needed somewhere to crash while driving from Nashville back to our mid-Atlantic home and thought, hell, why not Margaritaville? I've never regretted a decision less. The room was spacious and clean; breakfast was actually tasty; the pool was warm and well-kept. I enjoyed the signs, and menu items, and pillows (!) with lyrical excerpts. Everywhere you turn there's a TV playing either Margaritaville Radio or live Jimmy clips. It's disorienting in the most delightful way. Go all-in and visit the Margaritaville Restaurant across the bridge. Get a boat drink or several. I don't really have the words to describe the whole experience but it was silly and committed and boy we had a lot of fun. I have to say I had never given Jimmy Buffett much thought in the past, and we listened to his first 6 albums on the way home after staying here. Are we Parrotheads now? I don't know. I don't regret it.

Room 207 is right next to the elevators and is quite noisy when the elevator runs (which it will, frequently). We decided to extend our stay at check-in and were able to move to another room to accommodate those dates - the same room on higher floors doesn't have the same issue.
