Check in staff were absolutely amazing. Malcolm was absolutely beautiful and meet us with a smile and was so accommodating. Best service I’ve had. Breakfast staff were Terrible. Didn’t speak, rude, didn’t explain anything, rolled eyes, just plain rude. Thanks to Malcolm and front of hotel staff on Checkin for their excellent service. However your restaurant staff need to work on their manners and hospitality. Food was nice but could be better. Thanks Malcolm for your wonderful service.

Spacious and exceptionally clean suites. Lovely view. Comphy bed. Nespresso coffee machine, very quiet. Beautiful continent breakfast with good coffee.

As we are in late 60s I rang ahead and asked, if possible to get early check in, was told they would do their best. I even offered to pay. After leaving our bags, girl at reception promised to ring or email as soon as our suite was ready. Again, offered to pay extra. My husband and I walked around in 30 degree heat for 5 hours, waiting, no phone call came. Finally I rang an hour before the 2pm check in in and they said room was ready. I can understand why this happens, but to have an option to pay extra, would be great.

The facilities were great, buffet breakfast was good and the coffee was delicious. Lovely pool and we liked that it was open until 10pm, allowing us a late night dip after being at an event at Rod Laver for 3 hours and not returning to the hotel until 9pm, an hours swim in the magnesium pool to wind down was very much needed.

There’s no baby change rooms/change tables, must change your children in your hotel room which doesn’t come in very handy when in the middle of breakfast. Our patio/balcony door did not shut fully which meant we were unable to lock it (not a major issue unless you have a toddler/young child like us and they’re trying to escape.)

Staff were extremely lovely, great location, fantastic service, room was great and in particular very comfortable beds. The pool was being repaired at the time but we were given access to the pool and spa at the hotel just across from them which was excellent. Lovely big balcony. So many eateries and everything you need in the near vicinity. Breakfast buffet in the morning was amazing. Great coffee!

Would have loved to have had a bath in the bathroom. There was no Screen door on balcony. Had issues with the smart tv but am sure if I raised this with staff it would have been fixed! Room service until 8.45pm seems a little early. Lack of hotel information, QR code only gave access to the room service menu and no hotel information.

The location could not be better, located on the Yarra river in Southgate and being a very pleasant walk across the Princess bridge to the CBD. The rooms were very good and appear to have been recently refurbished, with the added benefit of a balcony and open windows for fresh air. We had a separate lounge area along with a kitchen area off the lounge. You did not feel cramped in and had lots of space to move around. The staff were very receptive in all parts of the hotel.

The buffet breakfast could have had more choice. The bar and beer garden needs an upgrade. Though it is clean and tidy, it is out of date (early 2000's). It would add to the hotel's overall ambiance.

Phenomenal hotel -- exceeded expectations! Upon arrival, we got a free upgrade to a superior one-room suite. It was huge, especially for center city Melbourne! (I've stayed in several hotels in Melbourne's CBD, and this room was by far the biggest and nicest.) Beds are super comfy. Rooms are very quiet. Our room had a full kitchen, in-room laundry (very convenient!), living room, large balcony (complete with a table for dining and sufficiently big for a morning workout), large bedroom with a comfy bed, and large bathroom. Staff were really accommodating (willing to let us store our stuff for multiple days while we were hiking). Included breakfast was very nice and efficient, complete with a DIY avo smash bar. Didn't have time to visit the gym (or the sauna / spa) since it didn't open until 6:30 am and we need to leave early, but I expect it's nice given how nice the rest of the hotel is! The location couldn't be better either. SMACK in the center of the whole city. Highly accessible to all major sites, lots of public transportation, etc. Would definitely recommend to stay here. It's going to be my future #1 choice for my return trips to the city!

Only tiny suggestion would be to make the gym 24/7 so that those with early departures could use it before they go. :)

Wonderful in every way. Ideal location. Quiet but 5 min across the bridge to the CBD. Beautiful asthetically inside and excellent service. Very comfortable and delux 1 bd apartment with verandah had everything you could want and more. Very clean and quality appointed. Bed very comfortable and veranda view gorgeous. Could air con. Excellent shower. 3 blind/curtain coverage for good darkening when wanted. Very quiet inside. Good TVs and vision choices. Beautiful heated Pool, Spar, Sauna and Gym!! Best place we have ever stayed!!!!!!! The restaurant meal there was also great and their breakfasts were awesome in choice and quality… as all you can eat I didn’t want to stop eating 🤣

Location right at the heart of Southbank, easy parking within the hotel apartment itself (very secure I must say), clean facilities, very comfortable and sufficient breakfast. We felt really right at home. Staff were on 24/7, which is great and very helpful too. Kudos to all Quay West Suites reception team!

Breakfast menu can be quite repetitive nevertheless sufficient. Housekeeping team varies; some did an excellent job some left stuffs behind untouched. Parking area is a bit tight space, mindful that there are residents living in the apartment as well so park according to the instructions. Though from outside looks a bit tired so abit of facade work should be done I feel :)

Property was 3 minutes walk from Findlers Station. The promenade on the south of the river is beautiful and literally outside the front door of the property. The staff were extremely helpful. The suite was modern and clean and included everything we had hoped for. Breakfast was available at the property and self-service options were delicious and varied. Highly recommended.

The location is fabulous. We could walk to all the events. The staff are exceptional. James and Georgia at the front desk were just lovely to see after we came back after a day of activities. The buffet breakfast was lovely. The pool and gym were spotless.

I loved everything about the place. Our family has decided this is the only place we will stay when visiting Melbourne.
