Everything! Location is amazing. Walk to everything including Southbank and 15 minutes Uber to St Kilda. Modern and funky with amazing bars and restaurants plus the pool is incredible with a bar and great views. Every single member of staff was friendly and helpful from Alan on reception to Michael at Curios bar on the lower level. Our room was ridiculously big. I was tempted to put the sateen sheets in my suitcase and take them home. So comfortable! And the bed was huge too. Room was thoughtfully stocked with anything we may need from toothbrushes to a variety of beverages. The bathroom was huge and the products provided had a luxurious scent. Also there is a heated toilet with every function imaginable! I will be back. Cannot recommend highly enough. Genuinely five stars.

The staff all went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The pool was fantastic too. It’s also in an amazing location in the Melbourne CBD.

The cleanliness needed more eye for detail. Our room was dust and things were not all cleaned properly when we arrived.

Love the modern design of this hotel, particularly the room and bathroom design (including heated toilet seat :-)). Cool downstairs bar, great pool area for kids and pool bar for adults to enjoy. The breakfast selection was great, service from staff friendly and efficient when restaurant was quite busy. Conveniently located near Flinders Lane restaurant precinct. Comfy beds, clean rooms and hotel amenities.

I don't really have anything negative to say about this hotel other than the pillows were a bit high for my liking. Beds and bedding otherwise comfy.

the staff was nice and helpful with any requests. the rooms were clean and check in made easy. toilets are self cleaning. theme to the rooms are quirky and they give you a cheese plater in the room and a welcome drink on arrival. these little things really set up my stay.

they didn’t have a list of the facilities within the hotel room for you so you don’t know where to go for the pool or what time the restaurant is open. I also didn’t see any sign so you know to call 0 for reception. this made it difficult to use the hotel facilities. but the reception were helpful in giving you the information. you just have to ask them for everything or you don’t know where to go.

This is a modern hotel, and has everything you need, decoration in the room, lobby and restaurants are fantastic. All indoor electronics are state of the art, from a Japanese electric bidet the opens automatically as you approach it to fully touch screen light controls it never stops one to be amazed.

The pool is the highlight, located at level 14, it is usually very quiet and sometimes felt as a private pool. Equipped with a steam room and gym, and a bar and food , has a fantastic view. Although the surrounding high rise building does not let you get best view it deserves, still pretty amazing.

Firstly, much appreciated the offer of a pet friendly room. My doggo was a very good and exited girl. She had a lovely time and kept checking herself out in the full length mirror. She was intrigued as we were with the welcoming bidet. We thought the styling and colour scheme was arty and interesting. Really liked the doors to the wardrobe with the face montage and the light fixture on the wall, which looked like it was being unzipped. Mirror in the bathroom was excellent for putting on makeup and had a magnifying mirror attached also. Bed and linen were good quality and comfortable. The eco friendly bagless bins were appreciated. Very clean room.

Some minor technical issues with fitting quality and scan keys. The shower could have had a European shower head not a standard wall fitting. Would have like a bit more natural green space/garden area for taking my dog out to. There was a good size patch of artificial lawn, which did the job.

This is the seventh W hotel I have stayed in, because I always think there is a sense of luxury or technology without neglecting comfort, but W Melbourne I booked a premium room asking about city view but it was visible from the outside The building opposite is still under maintenance, and the room is also similar to W Brisbane’s big and small strikers are quite big. Ask about the smaller rooms. Of course, the staff service is still very good. If you have any questions, they will take the initiative to reply and solve them. Even when you check in, someone will specifically introduce all the facilities and services in the hotel Very good very good. W Melbourne I booked a great room with a city view, but from the outside it only looks like the opposite building and it is still under repair, and the rooms inside are not the same w The size of Brisbane is quite big outside, but the room is relatively small

Awesome experience from beginning to end. Greeted right from the taxi and they took our luggage in. We had complementary champagne while checking in. The room was pretty big. Really awesome style. Massive TV. The bars/restaurants at W were all top notch. The 11pm-ish room service rib eye was incredible. Decent size pool and gym. Friendly and helpful staff. Very central location as well.

Possibly nitpicking here, but I did think it was a bit weird the breakfast restaurant didn't have eggs benedict. Also had to put your own sugar in your coffee from the little packets. These are very minor things, and this was still a 10/10 stay.

We would definitely come and stay a the W once again, really friendly and professional staff who made us feel very welcome upon arrival and during our stay. Hotel itself has a cool vibe to it and being new everything is nice and clean and you dont feel like your in a traditional hotel but more an apartment with funky designs throughout the place in and out, room was definitely tailored for a couple with lots of fun stuff to get involved with (at a cost) and one thing I wouldn't normally mention in a hotel review but the toilet was one of the room highlights with a heated seat and other functionalities 😀 to keep you intrigued lol. Breakfast at Lollo was also lovely and again staff were great to interact with, food portion sizes were a bit big for me but you get your moneys worth. Thanks for a wonderful 1 night stay at the W next time it'll be longer so that I can enjoy the amenities such as the pool and the steam room and grab a drink at the same time with the bar on level 14.

My only issue which is not always at fault of the hotel depending on availability etc but for the price paid on a king bed suite a decent view would haven't gone astray instead we were facing a construction site and looking through dirty windows, If we were higher up and facing towards the Yarra on the Southbank side that would have made the stay a 10/10 as that's a great view to look and wake up too.

The staff are so helpful. we loved the ‘whatever and whenever’ button on the phone. great touch to show they really care for your their guests needs. Room service food 11/10. Highlight breakfast brûlée and all the deserts. Pool is a great place to relax and enjoy a cocktail in or out of the pool. Comfortable beds, extra touches in the room. Curios cocktail bar conveniently located. Next year we’ll sample the restaurants. A very enjoyable stay for our annual girls trip. Never disappoints
