The location and the room. The location - it is so central to all the attractions. We find everything we want or need. So many supermarkets and shops nearby. The surroundings are very beautiful and we can have lovely walks by the Lech river which is just 5 minutes away. The town center is 15 minutes by foot. For my mom who mostly eat only Asia food, there's two Asian restaurants to choose from. There's also ice cream shops in the town. Everything is just very convinient. There's also a Drogeriemarkt nearby. Plansee is just 10-15 minutes drive away. The room - it is lovely decorated and spacious. We stayed as a family of four. The cleanliness is astounding! Our kids could crawl, roll, play Legos and lie down on the floor without any dirt stick on us. We stayed in a family room with a double decker bed for the boys. It's so lovely that it's placed in a separate room while the kids have access to us easily. The balcony view is wonderful.

Warm vibes - stayed for our honeymoon and it was exactly the experience we were looking for. Breakfast in the AM was a great way to start the day. Staff was friendly, provided guidance for activities when we inquired. Another thing we loved was the heritage and charm everywhere on the grounds and within the building. Certainly would stay again - this time for longer - we only stayed 2 nights.

Unfortunately television wouldn’t connect to Netflix… but not a major concern - spent most our time exploring/hiking.

The breakfast had a good variety. The room was clean and nice. The dinner option was reasonably priced and plentiful (though nothing special, which was expected given the price, and rather slow service).

I wish they had decaf coffee, but that is my one pet peeve with European hotels. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room to make tea/coffee ourselves, especially since everything seems to close early. The bathroom, though clean, was very small.

The hotel chef and his wife own this wonderful hotel where we stayed two nights in three rooms. We had dinner in the dining room both nights and really enjoyed the food and drink. The buffet breakfast was very good! Our rooms were large and comfortable. The dining room terrace was lovely. The owners gave us good information and directions for our activities and their staff were friendly and professional.

Breakfast is not a lot of options but everything you need and the food is great. Views are fantastic! The staff is super helpful and friendly. Very good sauna. they also provide local activity card that provides discounts to a lot of local activities. Overall, amazing hotel, highly recommend it!

There is no fridge in the room (at least the one we stayed).

Staff was helpful and provided rooms which were close to each other. Rooms were also clean.

25 Euro breakfast charge for 7 year old child. It was not even mentioned when we were going to breakfast area. I booked rooms which had breakfast included so I was not even sure if child are excluded from that. It was kind of cheating as it was announced only when we were returning room keys. For kids below 10 years, even 3-4 star hotels don't charge more than 15 Euros. Considering that there are very few items in breakfast, I Someone scratched my car in the parking area. Cameras in parking area were not working so even asking for a police report was of no use.

The hotel is exceptionally decorated, all tiny details and superb hospitality of the team make the stay very comfortable. The breakfast was good, the dinner was very tasty. Plenty of parking place, chargers for electric cars are available. The sauna is available by request without extra charge.

Everything was great!

Beautiful large old hotel, that dates back to the 1500s. Large room, comfortable beds, great Wifi, and charming owners and staff. Excellent fish dinner, good coffee and lovely architecture. Has a free sauna and steam room on request, which was very clean and refreshing. They got us cards to get into an excellent local swimming pool for half price too. Would recommend it, and we hope to come back.

Big, clean room, good food and friendly staff.

Not all staff speaks beginner level English, but with our little knowledge of German we managed thru.

The hotel has its own restaurant with great menus which we recommend.

The hotel adverted a fitness which was unfortunately not working when we arrived which I find confusing because it was one of our decision reasons for this hotel.
