The hotel is older, well maintained, cozy, clean with a beautiful view of the harbor and a busy street. We people watched from our room it was fun. The sweet was very comfortable we had a kitchenette High ceilings it was great very roomy. For the price this was a great deal We parked the car the whole time we were there and walked around Victoria and never touched our car once until we left. We had a great time the pub was also good. We found lots of stores and other restaurants we had a great time the staff at the hotel we're very pleasant and knowledgeable. We will be back most definitely

There was nothing we really didn't like about it.

Excellent location, super friendly staff and very clean and spacious rooms. We stayed at a 2 bedroom suite, it has a functional kitchen with everything you may need to have breakfast or a light meal. The shower and matresses were very good as well.

Due to its location it´s difficult to park in the nearby area and all the parking is paid. No parking in the hotel premises. The suite was offered for six people but there were only 5 chairs, a small detail to consider. The bathroom is in the main floor of the suite but the bedrooms are in the second floor of the suite because it´s a two floor suite.

Great location, lots of nearby food & amenities, flexible layout (2 bedroom suite plus sofabed), functional kitchen, on-site laundry machines, and really nice staff. Even parking the car was really straightforward, plus the hotel parking zone in front made it easy to load & unload. Appreciated that there is an elevator for our family member who uses a mobility aid.

The only tiny thing that could have been improved was that the bathroom door was really squeaky! If we'd stayed longer, we'd have asked staff to oil the hinges.

We loved a lot about our stay here! We arrived in Victoria early in the day and the friendly staff helped us store our luggage and contacted us as soon as our room was ready (which was ahead of check-in time). The room was very comfortable and much more spacious than what you find in a lot of standard hotel chains. The central location was absolutely perfect for exploring the city, we had a lovely view of the Harbour from our bed, and the restaurant downstairs had a great selection of food and drinks (including vegan options). We would love to come back for a longer visit!

While our bathroom and kitchen areas were very clean and functional, they could use a bit of brightening up or updating.

The location of this hotel is excellent, well within walking distance of the ferry port, as well as great shopping and restaurants. Victoria is a very walkable city. I loved the room. A two story, two bedroom suite. The bathroom was large and clean. The pull out couch down stairs was comfortable. The beds in the two bedrooms up stairs are extremely comfortable. There is a nice kitchen and the whole space is comfortable and well decorated, with interesting art on the walls even. I was very impressed at the value for the price!

We were a little concerned about getting the crib we reserved at first (a pack and play) as they told us they were first come first serve, but it was waiting in our room when we got into the room.

The location is central and excellent. the downtown and waterfront areas is a walkers paradise. the room is comfortable, given it is a 100 year old building. We were directly above the pub and the little noise we heard did not disturb us. The king bed was very comfortable. Having the pub and restaurant down stairs was wonderful. Staff were outstanding,

We had no complaints, given the location but understandably there is little parking except on lots with an expensive daily charge

The location was perfect! We enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk around. The room was very big and the bed super comfortable. The kitchen in the suite was well equipped, but we did not use it. We also enjoyed the pub and liquor store below.

The parking for check-in instructions were a bit confusing. We would have preferred to be directed to the appropriate lot and then check in rather than parking in a precarious zone and being directed back to the lot. The inner courtyard to the room was not inviting, if there was a nicer sitting area we would have used it.

Good downtown location; walking distance to restaurants and theater. The long history of this location and historical building is interesting. The rooms are comfortable. It was a fun place to stay, along with enjoying the pub that is part of the property.

Customers should be aware that the bedroom was upstairs to the living area, if stairs are an issue; bathroom is downstairs-tricky at night. Parking is off-site either on the street or in a public parkade. Tried to make a reservation directly with the hotel (on-line), but we were unknowingly shuttled onto booking.com where we were charged more than the expected price and terms had changed (e.g. of cancellations); hotel was not aware of this. Did not receive a receipt by email at the end of the stay. Best to book by phoning.

The Swans Hotel totally met my expectations - very central location and tons of space! The apartment was really large and both of the beds were pretty comfortable. It was also nice to have access to kitchen facilities and a table in the room. The best part was how close it was to everything we wanted to see and the bus stops everywhere to make it easy to get from place to place. Also - I really appreciated the fans that were available to cool the place down! It got fairly stuffy even with the windows open.

Sharing a single bathroom between four girls can be rough! Given the size of the apartments I could totally see there being enough space to add an additional bathroom in some suites one day

The location of the hotel is great. The city center is in walking distance. The hotel lays in a beautiful neighborhood with a lot of restaurants. The exterieur of the hotel looks beautiful. The hotel has it's own beer. The room had all necessary amenities and was clean. The room was spacious.

The staff was not really friendly - I would question their social skills. The Hotel has it's own pub downstairs. Thus, it can get quite loud. Especially on weekends, it is really loud. You can hear the noise in the room. I would skip this hotel on weekends.
