Hotel was in a prime location, close to the main areas of Amsterdam. Staff were very attentive and helpful, room was clean, and the bed was comfy. They hold your bags in a luggage room either before your room is ready, or if you have a late flight and have already checked out. The hotel was very well presented and friendly. The rate itself is a little higher than other hotels of a similar standard in the area, but it is definitely value for money and the next time we are in Amsterdam, we would stay here again.

Location is perfect, we could walk around the center of the city from the hotel and it overlooks beautiful river. I liked that the hotel was clean and staff were nice. Beds were comfortable and the room was large with all necessary facilities.

We had a view of a wall. Every time we entered the room there was terrible carpet smell and we had to keep windows open all the time.

From the minute we walked in the staff were super friendly and helped us with the checkin which is a self service however I needed some help and the man on reception (a man from England) was super helpful! The location was perfect for us, easy access to all of the travel links and walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go to. The room was cosy, perfect size for us as we didn’t spend that much time in the room however when we did we had a great nights sleep. Nice touch of LED lights in the room. You get free water and chocolate which was sweet after our late night arrival. There is a self serve shop which we didn’t use but handy if you need anything and a self serve Starbucks machine. The hotel was beautiful we will definitely be returning.

The only two things would be our window didn’t fully shut so we had a lot of condensation, and the room was a little dusty however it didn’t ruin our stay and would be happy to stay again.

The location was excellent with easy public transport to the things we wanted to go to. There wasn't a restaurant facility in the hotel which was open during our stay. We would have used it if there had been. Breakfast was very good but the same every day. A little variety wouldn't go amiss. We didn't use the shower as were frightened of slipping. Slip free provision is needed.

There was no hotel information in the room; breakfast times and how to regain access after 11pm. It seems we could have used our room key but nobody told us.

Perfectly positioned for a day trip to Amsterdam and the things it had to offer. The facilities were very good and the rooms very clean.

A staff member was a little offhand with me when I had a question during check in or this would have been a 10 for all round experience.

Everything! Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are extremely clean. Water and chocolate left on arrival for us to enjoy. Lots of facilities to use as well as a pool table which is free of charge. Cannot fault this hotel at all. Didn't have breakfast but the location is really good and about a 10 mins walk to Central Station. We walked absolutely everywhere and there are many restaurants and modes of transport around. Will definitely rebook this hotel

Bit more ceiling lighting in the room or the option to just have the mood lighting on in the room to create a mood but otherwise nothing!

A larger, quiet room, with a limited view, but well worth it. The room was spacious and comfortable and very well soundproofed given all of the Pride festivities taking place on the street below. The location was fantastic. Right on the Amstel river within walking distance to coffeeshops, cafes, shopping, restaurants and fronting onto a canal. The back entrance was right in 'party central'. Very technologically forward. Lots of self-serve options for food and check-in/check-out.

A small fridge in the room would have been helpful, especially with the small food mart in the 'lobby'. Drainage in the shower could have been a bit better, but this was a very minor issue.

We had a canal view room which was great, watching the action through the window. Beds were very comfy and room nicely furnished. Coffee pod machine and kettle supplied. There was a self serve shop which sells beer, wine, food etc. Loved the honesty system, there was nobody working there. There were also facilities to cook a pizza or a toastie from stocked fridges. Honesty system again. There is a restaurant (for breakfast only) and the bar is open till about 11. Access is available from the back or front which is handy. Location is great, close to metro and shops.

No fridge :(. so I had to go and get ice from the bar to chill our drinks, not ideal.

The location is amazing. walking distance from the shopping street and close to public transport. It was close to restaurants and cafe's. The staff of the hotel were kind and helpful for every request we had. The room (bed) was comfturble and the view (we had a room with canal view) was amazing.

The original room we have received was really good but we heard lots of noise from other rooms. We were moved to a different room, but still we could hear the people in the room next to us talking, so the walls are not soundproof which for the price we paid, we expected it to be. There is no heat in the shower, and it was extremely cold. The room was not clean enough, dust of the furniture and hair in the shower. During our stay in the first room we heard some weird noise, and when we called to the reception, the guy that answered to us was laughing at our complaint. It was fixed, but still this was an unpleasant and not appropriate. Even if the laugh was not intended to us, it didn't felt good.

I was very happy with the desk provided in the room - many hotels feel that a horizontal surface needs to serve multiple functions, but the Eden's desk is ideal for getting a little work done. Breakfast was also excellent, as was the location half way between the central station and the Rijksmuseum.

The first impression was negative - on arrival one is invited to check oneself in, which feels impersonal, if only because other hotels take advantage of this opportunity to give a personal welcome. Even for a single, my room was quite small (though it turned out to be very comfortable), and there was a mysterious smell coming from somewhere.
