Great location on top of a shopping centre and parking 5-10 mins walk to the main street and marina/waterfront. Rooms were well kept, comfortable and quiet, a decent size with ensuite (shower over bath). Breakfast was buffet style with a great selection and option to order eggs as you like. Very polite staff and great service. We came back one night after 12pm and the car park was shut, but the hotel staff were brilliant and let us in with no issues. Gym was well equipped with TV screens which were playing the HK 7 aside rugby whilst I was i there which was a bonus!

Nothing really. They were doing major road works whilst we were there which meant accessing the car park tricky but straightforward once you know how.

This is an old hotel that was renovated, quite good value for the money, for NZ prices at least. Service is what you would expect for global 5-star business hotels: comfortable beds, clean linen and towels or plenty of USB outlets. There were a few non-NZ power outlets, sufficient for four of us. Antipodes amenities were provided in large dispensers, not small disposable plastic containers. The sauna fits three people at most, but it was clean with changing room and extra towels provided.

Shower head fixed on the wall, less convenient for a small child who would need help with shower. Wasted bins were not lined, I feel bad throwing sticky stuff such as fruit peels. Tea was not replenished after one night, but we still had enough. There were only two bath towels provided for four people, we picked up some extra from the sauna. Location could have been better. When we were there, metro station construction was ongoing and after 8PM the main street (Queen St) is all closed and full of homeless people. We thought SkyCity would mean a central location, but it's also quiet after hours. A location closer to the harbour, such as the Intercontinental would have been a better choice for a tourist.

Clean and nice amenities Staff were friendly. I did see some visitors were confused by some of the processes. I did want to pay with a separate card for the breakfast but she forgot to take my new card details before processing. Also told me can pay for breakfast at the restaurant he told me it was included in my room but I knew it wasn't and of course when I checked out I had to pay for it So some confusion around their processes but they were friendly, about it Great location

Just the rigmarole. Check out is 11am so as you can imagine it's busy and only 2 staff..a bit painful No clear que so everyone all over the place and people pushing in made it a painful check out process...check out early

I had an excellent stay at Crowne Plaza Auckland. The view of the Sky Tower allowed us to enjoy New Year's Eve fireworks, and despite road construction, a dedicated entrance made access easy. The location, steps from Queen Street, a food court, mall, and The Warehouse store, was ideal. The staff was helpful, gym well-maintained, and the guest laundry affordable. Special thanks to Alen and Blessing at Aria restaurant for their exceptional hospitality.

Overall no complaints. Hotel could use a renovation in a couple of years to keep it updated

We stayed for one night during our last night in Australia and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were efficient and very friendly. Everything in the room was clean and comfortable. We used Chromecast on the TV easily and watched movies. A friend used their 24/7 business center for some late night meetings. Another friend used the gym which was sufficiently equipped and included a small but clean sauna. The property is centrally located, just 2 minutes walk from the sky tower (up the stairs to Federal Street). We were able to leave our luggage after we checked out to go to brunch downtown and collected them a few hours later, quickly and easily. We would highly recommend this property for your stay in Auckland!

Crowne Plaza is a very attractive package. The internal features are luxurious with a large reception area, well stocked breakfast area and large ensuite bedrooms. The beds were very large and extremely comfortable with good quality bedding.

The immediate local area is a difficult to navigate and walk, chaos is caused by the construction work and diversions associated with the development of the mass transit system. No hotels nearby have any control over this but it comes as a surprise to uninformed visitors. We ate in the hotel on two nights. The first night service was good and the standard of the food was excellent. On the second night there was a group of about twelve diners. It appears that they were given priority over all of the other diners. Our service in common with other tables was incredibly slow. Waiting over half an hour for a dessert order to be told on questioning that it would still be quite a wait was unacceptable. Having been kept in the dark and uninformed we cancelled the order and left.

The bed is soft and comfortable. The room is clean.

Too many guests, but too few counter staff, resulting in long waiting time. I don't like the fix showerhead in the bathroom. Maybe you could consider to set up a hand shower. Besides, we traveled in the north island for six days, and stayed at this hotel on the first and the last two nights. We appreciated that the hotel let us storage our luggage from the second day to the fourth day. However, one of the duty counter staff initially didn't know where our luggage stored when we back to the hotel on the fourth night. He looked for our luggage for a long time. After he found the luggage and dropped them on the trolley, he immediately back to the counter without sending them to our rooms. In the end, we asked another duty counter staff to send the luggage to our rooms.

The location is excellent. Just around the corner from where the SkyBus from the airport arrives. The room was very spacious and the bed was amazingly comfortable!! Good buffet breakfast too - though a little pricey! Good internet.

Using the TV was a little confusing. I thought that I had to have a Chromecast app on my phone to use the TV. That's how it seemed to read on the digital log-in. Finally I discovered that this was not essential to use the TV. It would have been helpful to have that info included somewhere.

I stayed there during the cyclone. The staff were excellent during my staff. extremely helpful and supportive. There were quit a few families who had been temporarily housed there because of being homeless due to flooding. The care and empathy shown to these families was incredible. The hotel was safe. comfortable and the staff were exceptional. Location was perfect, a five minute walk from the harbour and all of the cities main attractions. Plus great for shopping! Auckland has many great restaurants with a multi national range of cuisines. There is also a guest laundry which was very helpful.

Nothing!

Location was what we liked most. Convenient to go around (near Sky Tower / Weta Workshop and the main streets of Victoria and Queens) plus it had a small mall with a food court below. The rooms were clean and the staff were always pleasant in answering our queries.

There could have been more elevators working during the holidays (considering the hotel was almost full). Not all 4 lifts were fully servicing the hotel guests at the same time.
