Great location and amazing lakefront view from our room! It’s just 2 min walk from the main square of Queenstown. Our suite was very spacious and has complete kitchen amenities. Shower was very spacious and i love double sink in the bathroom. Linens were very clean.
The room is a bit dated and i feel like the carpet is not clean. The layout of the hotel isn’t so convenient to move around with a luggage. We had to cross to another building to get to our room and it was raining, no roof in crossing. Back of our room faces the main road, many pedestrian walks on this road so we had to close the curtains to maintain privacy.

The staff were fantastic and seemed a bit embarrassed that they couldn't meet our expectations and supply the room that we had booked online. They did give us complimentary breakfast and parking each day of our stay which was great. We did however have to share a bathroom, have no windows in the bedrooms and no balcony and view which we were expecting.
Unfortunately when we arrived we were informed that Peppers could not supply the room we had ordered and they had to downgrade us. We would have preferred to have been informed before we got to the hotel so that we could decide whether to continue to stay there or not. This was not an option!

Huge room! Fantastic for a family of 4. Beds were amazing. Breakfast was good. Kitchen facilities were great. Bathrooms were great and amenities supplied. The washing machine and dryer in the room was great. The view was stunning. Great spot for New Year's and it was surprisingly quiet/soundproofed when there was a party going on above us. Kids even slept through the fireworks down the road.
The fireplace didn't seem to turn off (it's pilot light was always on and glass felt warm to touch) so made the room slightly stuffy. The air-con didn't reach both bedrooms so it was hot for summer. The lift closes quickly when you press the button for your floor so make sure you are all in the lift before you press (our kids got scared as the doors almost closed before we parents got in, but it stopped them racing ahead of us and arguing about who would push the button, so it's a win-win).

We stayed for our honeymoon and I was pleasantly surprised. The location was great, and the view from our room was beautiful. The staff left a bottle of champagne and a little note in our room for our honeymoon which was a lovely surprise - thank you! The room itself had plenty of space, the bathroom was modern and the bed was comfortable. The staff at the front desk were friendly. The free guest laundry was very handy. Overall such a lovely stay, I would highly recommend.
I’ve still given the hotel 10/10 as the points I didn’t like were not really anything the hotel had done wrong, more a design oversight. The only thing that bothered us was that the interconnecting door between our room and the room next door (for larger groups I assume) meant that guest noise disturbed us. Keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper. Staff were helpful in calling up to guests room when it got too much though. There’s no restaurant or room service which would be so welcome haha, we did know this before booking though so absolutely fine, but we did find ourselves wishing for it a couple of times.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment with adjoining hotel room to make it 3 bedrooms. stunning views over lake and the mountains - we could not have wished for more. apartment was sensational - beds super comfortable -3 bathrooms perfect for 3 girls. Loved the heated floors, fireplace - just a few minutes walk along the lake to restaurants, shops, gondola. It truly was the best place for a 5 night stay in Queenstown. Kitchen was well equipped though we mostly ate out, it was good for breakfasts. Staff friendly and helpful - we shall remember this one forever
could not have improved in any way

The location which is a flat walk to the centre of Queenstown and the view was spectacular. The front reception staff were amazing they were very friendly and accommodating.
There was mould in the shower which I notified to reception on admission it was cleaned with a product which didn’t remove it. However I tried wiping it to see if it came off onto the face cloth which it did. I think housekeeping let this property down as my bed covers were pulled up however the under sheet was left unmade and on my last night the towels weren’t replenished.

The apartment was spacious with a spectacular view of the lake . Water pressure in showers was great and the gas fireplace was very grand. Beds had the warmest doonas which made it very cosy. Great amenities in the kitchen. Location was great with a short walk into Queenstown.
One of the bedrooms had a cavity that enclosed tjr Next door’s apartments staircase. Caution is required here as I hit my hit a few times and walked into it in the night after retiring from the toilet . Bathroom timber cabinets showed sign of water damage and the grout in the showers was mouldy . The carpet in the Lou ve room had a warp in it making it a Trip hazard .

Peppers has always been a fovorite of ours since the Apartments are comfortable, self contained and have a lovely view of Lake Wakatipu. On this occasion I made a mistake in the booking and we ended up in a hotel room - nothing wrong with the hotel room but wasn'e 'our usual'. The reception staff went out of their way to work out a solution that resulted in us ending up in an apartment with all the attributes that we cherish. The reception went above and beyond!
The upgrades on the lifts seems to be taking a long time. They were working on it in October 23 when we were there and the process was still ongoing 6 months later

Excellent location and within easy walking distance to the town centre. The 2bed 2bath apartment was well presented, spacious and clean. The views were amazing and I loved the cosy fireplace. Staff are friendly and hospitable.
Disliked the arrangement in the bathroom with the shower above the bath. It would help if there was a rail or non slip surface to prevent slipping as I had a near miss accident. The current set up wouldn't be suitable for elderly or anyone with hip issues.

We stayed in a two bedroom Lakeview apartment and the view was nothing short of spectacular. We liked the proximity of the hotel and enjoyed the short walk to and from the centre of Queenstown along the lake. Yes the rooms need a freshen up but they are very clean and comfortable.
There was a mix up with our room on the first night but the manager on duty was very accommodating and did everything she could to make us happy and comfortable. Just pay the extra for a Lakeview room and any other disappointments will be forgotten because of THAT view!
