Everything was perfect. The view was stunning. The bedding comfortable. It had a nice bath and amenities.

The location was a bit tough on the feet when returning from the city (quite the uphill walk) however we were given a tip by a local to use the lifts at a nearby hotel to skip the majority of the hill and that was perfect.

The view over Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu is fantastic, the room was well appointed and spacious. Excellent heating throughout the apartment, everything you need for self contained, quiet location and plenty of parking. Close enough to the town centre yet far away from the busyness that is Queenstown. TSS Earnslaw says goodnight each night around 10pm-ish. Make sure to book a lake view room and ask for level 3.

Room was beautiful and welcoming when we arrived. Very clean and modern with a spectacular view. Bed was comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed for a great stay. Walk into center of town to restaurants and events, good central location.

Unfortunately, we did have a minor issue with the toilet plumbing which was promptly fixed. Scaffolding did also go up outside our apartment on our second day as they were doing painting of the building. It did ruin the view and take away our privacy from then on. We were advised that maintenance would be conducted during our stay but it did detract from our enjoyment of the surrounding none the less.

Property is very well maintained with every equipment in good condition. View is splendid can stay in the room all day with that view. Very spacious and clean. Quite accessible location and best to stay with kids

They didn’t provided house cleaning for out stay cause we stayed for 5 days only. They only provide room service if you staying more than 6 nights. I kind of didn’t like it with the money I paid. I expected my room to be cleaned at least for once at time of stay. Location is on uphill sometime it is tiring to walk all up with baby and a baby stroller 😅

I did a lot of research on the surrounding properties (my first time in Queenstown) and read the reviews on so many places. The reviews for Highview were very good, but I’d rate it as exceptional. The view, the comfort, the warmth (gas heater, heated flooring) and full kitchen so we bought food supplies for after a full days skiing when we were too stuffed to do any more that lay in a hot bath and eat some delicious soup. Réne on the front desk deserves a special mention, as he was more than happy to answer all my questions leading up to our stay.

The only minor negative was the walk back up the hill but the view was so worth it.

This is the best hotel apartment I have ever stayed in, with a great location and beautiful views.

The place was more than expected. We had the lakeview apartment and the view was great. Good location to town, the hill up to the place is a bit intense but overall worth it. Loved that it had a dishwasher and washing machine, so was easy when staying more than a few days. Loved the fire heater and the warm tiles.

The bathroom sink was a bit pointless as was too large with no space to have products or bags, so had to keep outside and bring in anytime you needed. Shower itself was average with water pressure and space in shower. Very minor things though. Would be good to have an easy way to get down to the lake walk other than having to do the hill everytime.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our credit card didn't work first time and it meant we couldn't pay until after the first night. However the staff were very accommodating and relaxed about it. It was sorted the next day. We didn't have a room with a view as they were all booked but our room was spacious, comfortable and immaculate with a lovely en-suite. Absolutely no complaints. It's situated to the west of the town and is an uphill 10 minute walk from the centre. That didn't bother us in the slightest but worth noting. You could drive and park in town but it's busy and obviously costs.

Staircase, there was no lift to the 2nd story and no description for that on the booking page. Noise from the fireplace, it's quite an old model. The price is expensive to me, furniture, fixtures and decorations are a bit old for this price tag. No staff in reception on arrival and it was 6pm. They left a letter and asked me to fill a form and hand it to reception with my credit card &ID during my stay but I never saw anyone in reception during my stay. One day before my check out, they sent me msg saying if I don't bring my rubbish out to the bin they may charge for extra cleaning fees. (I barely have any rubbish). Overall I don't feel welcomed by this place, and it's not a cheap place to stay. I will not come back again.

Gorgeous comfy apartment with beautiful view. Well equipped and a great place to relax after big days outdoors. Loved it so much we’ve booked another stay for later this year and can’t wait to return!

No biggy but pre check-in communication could have been a little bit better. Twice I advised via email we may be a little bit late if our flight was delayed and got no response or instructions about what to do in that situation. We were stuck in traffic on our way from the airport and tried to call but no one answered. We arrived just as reception was closing and fortunately got the key. Don’t know what would’ve happened if we were a couple of minutes later. Otherwise can’t fault the lovely staff. One other thing: we didn’t realise there were stairs to the apartment. No big deal though.
