The location is fantastic for anyone working in, or wanting to visit the city centre. Bristol City Centre is less than a 2 minute walk from the guesthouse and it's a 10 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads Train Station. Right in the heart of ST Nicholas Market, there are plenty of attractions, bars and eateries just outside of the hotel. The bed was really comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. The shower room was of an adequate size and the water was warm. The toiletries, tea and coffee replenished each day. All the staff were friendly, but a special mention for Justin a real credit to the Guesthouse.
I booked a king room and although the bed was a king size bed, it was too big for the room and there was not enough room to easily walk around the bed to be able to open/close the wooden window shutters. There is no desk space in the room, which prevented me from working of an evening.

We only needed one night in Bristol and I'm so glad I found Brooks Guesthouse. They gave us a very warm welcome on our arrival and explained everything we needed to know. There was a lift to our room and the place was very clean, tidy and tastefully furnished. There were allsorts of different styles of furniture which made it slightly quirky but with a warm friendly feel. Our room wasn't bg, but I knew that when I booked and it was very adquate for our needs. The breakfast was plentiful, tasty and very hot (I hate cold food) We will have no problem booking here again later in the year, but it'll definitely be for a longer stay.
Um......er....well.......I honestly can't think of anything I didn't like and that's the truth.

I didn't have breakfast as I was on a tight budget. I loved the bed, comfy, a choice of firm and soft and plenty of pillows. I really liked the roof top views. The double locks made me feel secure. As a woman on my own, I felt safe to leave the windows open. It was great to have an electric fan. I appreciated drinks being topped up each day and room tidied.
It would have been great to have a small drinks fridge for fresh milk and tonic for my gin! Those cartons of "milk" aren't good in tea; ok in coffee. The kettle does not fit under the tap, so I had to decant water using a glass to fill the kettle. Window latches need attention.

Clean, refreshing, quiet, comfortable. Staff were quite friendly and they even had a caftierre with real coffee in the room! The restaurant manager was kind, classy and knowledgeable about his menu. Altogether for cleanliness, quality of room amenities, condition of bed and towels/sheets, and absolutely lovely staff, I give this five thumbs up!!!
Hours for food service could be a little longer, I wish the cafe had more of the trade it truly deserved. Having been a chef at multiple Michelin rated places, I can honestly say this dining room is a hidden gem that deserves loads more attention.

The hotel is in a great central location and so close to St Nicks market, which is great for food and all sorts of stuff. The staffing level appeared minimal but very kind and helpful, while multi tasking. The room was a great option for 3 friends spending a night together in Bristol and so was good value, in spite of the sofa bed not being the best option. We didn’t stay for breakfast as we were heading for Clifton but it looked good.
The entrance courtyard doesn’t feel as loved as it once did. Stood outside in the rain on arrival for some time waiting for someone to attend reception, while they apparently attended to multiple other duties.

We’d been tipped about this place by a family friend, in particular about the rather quirky caravans in its roof! Never ones to miss out on a unique opportunity, we booked one of said caravans. There are 4 in total, 2 x 15ft & 2 x 20ft. We booked the latter, & was quite glad we did. Space is if a premium, but well utilised. It was both cosy & comfortable, if perhaps a tad warm (it was a rare sunny day!). However, a fan is provided, which is both efficient & quiet. In short, our stay was very enjoyable? & the caravan great fun!
Nothing to dislike. Staff super friendly. Freshly cooked breakfast (which you watch being prepared). Lovely interior furnishings, & a very cool patio area with seating. You could literally be anywhere!

The location is in the very center of the old city. We had a room in the building, with windows facing the courtyard, the room was quiet. The room is satisfactory size with all the amenities. Excellent tea set - tea, coffee, chocolate, cookies. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. Comfortable mattress and pillows. Very cozy courtyard where you can relax. We had breakfast in the restaurant opposite, so we cannot rate the breakfast at the hotel. The staff was very friendly, we could leave our luggage after check-out until the evening to walk around lightly.
The room, especially the bathroom, was a bit tired. But everything was clean and in working condition.

The room was clean and comfortable, room 9 is a good location with very little noise from the market in the morning.
Unfortunately there wasn't a kettle in the room so was unable to have a coffee upon waking. Therefore decided to pay £15 for breakfast, coffee served was nice, unfortunately the breakfast wasn't great at all. It took a long time to just make scrambled eggs and bacon and when it finally arrived both the bacon and eggs were overcooked so not very enjoyable. Disappointing when it's such an expensive breakfast.

Perfect location for my daughter’s wedding at the Radnor Rooms and central to City. We probably booked half the rooms for the two nights! Breakfast choice excellent on the whole (see below) Great staff particularly when dealing with a grumpy guest who begrudged our daughter and bridesmaids a bit of excitement on her wedding morning. The honesty bar was a great addition
Very hot without any heating on - not sure why but we all felt the same - windows wide open in early April. Wide choice of breakfasts and mainly really good but the chef couldn’t cook bacon no matter how crispy we asked it to be which was a bit of a shame

Fabulous breakfast, lots of options. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Excellent location. Lovely courtyard garden. The caravan was unique, very comfortable. A damaged window which was fixed quickly.
I was expecting it to be noisy as I stayed over the Eurovision weekend in a roof-top caravan, & it's a central location. It was really, really noisy. I had a few hours of quiet between the nearby nightclub closing & the street cleaning team beginning. Even with decent earplugs & a white noise app playing all night, I didn't sleep very well. Pack sleeping tablets.
