Location was great, just a short (£10) taxi into town. I didn't use the spa or the gym but they were also available and judging by the popularity those facilities must be pretty good. The staff are great, real down to earth folks when you get chatting with them. Rooms are great, spacious and comfortable and very clean. Check in and check out times are wonderful!!! Amongst the best I've experienced and that in itself would be worth my return if not on business. There's even Corona on tap in the bar

So it's just a personal thing but I'd rather not have to go over to the gym/leisure facility if I wanted to eat at the hotel, it's worth noting that there's no dining facility specifically in the accommodation part of the hotel itself.

Have used this hotel before, it is in a great location with the retail park a short walk away. Use of the facilities in the adjoining heath club is a real bonus after a long working day. Also unlike other hotels there is an abundance of parking available which is great. Breakfast in the Health Club is also really good..........

Just a couple of issues with this stay, toilet didn't flush properly....and I spent most of the first part of my sleep getting up a down coming up with various ways to try and cover the annoying flashing blue light from the TV which was lighting up the whole room like a night club.....

Arrived late due to bad traffic, but the night receptionist was very helpful. Booked a twin room but we were allocated a double. Issue was quickly resolved. Mattresses are soft but comfortable. Breakfast was good, hot, tasty, and easy to access. Liked that windows could open slightly, offering fresh air to the room.

No power points next to beds, only on the far side of the room. Located near to motorway but was aware of this when booked. Might cause some disrupted sleep, but I wear ear plugs so not a problem for me. 5 min walk from the local retail park, which has multiple food options.

Susan at reception is excellent! So friendly and helpful and really sets the tone for the hotel. The bed was big and was comfortable, the shower was nice and powerful and the room was a spacious size. I didn't get to use the pool/health area, and was told that there will be a surcharge as of 10th July for anyone who uses booking.com to book and wishes to use the pool, which is a shame.

The shower unfortunately didn't have a full door and looked as though the other half of the door had broken, which often caused a bit of a mess on the floor! The rooms were unfortunately too hot. I know AC is listed on the site, but unfortunately I couldn't find any. There was a heater which said it could go to 16 degrees, but this didn't work. Reception kindly gave me a fan, but this barely took the edge off.

Late check in after a concert was no issue at all for me and my daughter. Staff were good and helpful. The room was a nice size and the shower was lovely. The use of facilities by buying a day pass for hotel users is a great idea. We paid at the hotel reception, got towels and a locker key and set off. We also used the cafe in the healthclub for our breakfast. The gym is quite big with a variety of equipment to use. The pool, steam room and jacuzzi was quiet and it finished our stay off nicely.

The only thing I can say is that I didn't like, was that I saw the stains on the mattress the next morning that were pretty bad, perhaps new mattresses and mattress protectors are required.

Extremely friendly staff who were really helpful and welcoming. The rooms were very spacious, modern and lots of storage. Lovely modern bathroom with ample toiletries and towels provided. The shower was really great. The beds were a good size, very comfortable and the pillows were good quality too. Lots of tea, coffee and milk and extra at the bar when requested when we ran out. A lovely bar area to relax in in reception with a reasonable choice of drinks and snacks. Easily accessible rooms via the lift.

The lady at check in didn’t provide any information but just said it was all in the room, however listening to others checking in during our stay they were provided lots of useful information including which flour the room was on! Our room didn’t have a sliding door on the shower (our teenagers’ room did) which meant our bathroom flooded which was a hazard as I am disabled and have limited mobility/balance issues which I informed the hotel in advance of arrival. We have never stayed at a hotel where on the second day the bed isn’t made, the bin emptied or clean cups provided! More than one disabled parking bay would be beneficial in such a large car park.

Staff are nice. Special mentioned to Colin and Susan. They were accommodating. Room is big enough. Shower gel and shampoo, conditioner were good smell. Tea and coffee facility is ok.

Pillows are not very clean, very stained. I have to ask to be given cleaned pillows. Susan and Colin gave us brand new pillows and sealed. I have to request for another chair as it’s only one. No side lights by the bed. Only lights was the ceiling lights right on top of our faces and head. Too bright to read books at night. No hooks to hang jackets and coats as only 3 hangers provided.

The staff were unbelievably polite and helpful. I don't think I've ever had service like it, even at "posher" hotels. The staff behind the hotel reception were warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The cafe/bar was clean and the food served there was delicious. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was really comfortable. The shower was lovely, really powerful and as hot or as cold as you'd like it. Bathroom had heated towel rail. Plenty of TV channels to choose from including netfix/prime etc if you have your own log in. Loads of tea/coffe/milk and a kettle that didn't take years to boil. Lots of towels available and complimentary toileteries. Towels and bedding were clean. Didn't use it but room also had a hair dryer. Lots of sockets available for chargers etc. Parking free and plenty of it. Short walk to the pub where the food is nice. And a retail park on your doorstep. The spa on site was okay for our short stay, was nice to have a swim in the evening. Pool closed to kids after 7.30pm so it was a little quieter then

The spa and pool area was a bit tired and could do with a refresh. The room was clean and tidy but again, could do with some light repairs and an update. Don't take cash, only card, I like to use cash but wasn't an issue.

Big beds - it was 2 doubles put together. 2 different pillow types offered (super soft or hard) which is good. Room is very big and clean. Area for handing clothes which is great. Huge parking which is nice. Next door to health and spa club, which was lovely.

They are understaffed at Reception, the receptionist is also the bar tender, security and also the person who fixes any issues at night. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days, but the room was not cleaned during our stay. Also the shower door was missing, so the water drenched the floor, and we needed to put a few towels down. The fan was incredibly loud and was manually switched off from the fuse, so we had to turn it on.
