Incredible lakefront location, close proximity to restaurants and activities, delicious breakfast food (but very expensive breakfast). Huge room size, huge bathroom, all very spacious and clean, and great housekeeping service each day. They thought of everything in the rooms, even room-darkening blackout shades and very comfortable beds and air conditioning.

The breakfast was confusing - many of my friends had it included in their room booking for free, but I did not, so had to pay 40 Francs for a breakfast buffet (crazy!). If you're going to have an included breakfast, it should either be complimentary for everyone who books, or paid for everyone, no confusing split policies.

Our rooms were spacious and quiet with good quality beds and aircon so we slept well. The hotel is perfectly situated opposite the lake and very close to the metro exit. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection. Having the swimming pool was a delight in the hot weather. We didn't use the spa or facilities in the sister hotel across the road but for some that might be a nice option. All in all it was a lovely stay.

We had made a couple of special requests ahead of time which were agreed by the hotel. One of these was met after we chased them up several times, but sadly the other was not met at all. In addition, during our stay the teas we consumed were not replaced and it would have been nice to have some herbal options provided. Again this was requested but never materialised. We were surprised and somewhat disappointed by these things given this is a 4 star hotel where we anticipated an extra level of attention to detail.

Apparently where Lord Byron wrote 'The Prisoner of Chillon'! Friendly and helpful reception staff; excellent lake view from the third floor; 20% off drinks at the bar in Château d'Ouchy; decent Italian restaurant within the hotel building; large bed sensibly covered by two single duvets; separate bathtub and shower enclosure; mouthwatering breakfast (don't forget to request for the omelette!); interesting artwork in the room and throughout the hotel. Special mention to Laura and Eugenie, our masseuses.

The room got too hot at night - opening the windows and turning the heating off wasn't enough to cool it down. A fan could have been very useful.

The location is amazing: right on the lake, I had amazing view from my windows, the metro is 3 minutes walk away. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable and I loved the linens. The bathroom had a shower and a tub, a huge win for me. The isolating windows make the room very quite. There are two sets of blinds to choose from. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Amazing hotel, very recommended.

Location was great, looking at the lake and very close to the metro station. Breakfast was very well, still we had to pay as our booking was not included the breakfast. Room was clean and there were no sound coming into the room although we were looking directly to the road and the lake.

Staff was somewhat not friendly and they were not problemsolvers. Most of the people including around Laussane seem not to be familiar with english language!!! One night after having a great diner in an other location we wanted to have coffee in the hotel's reaturant but the lady said it is not possible!! and sent us to their sister hotel just for a coffee. 11

Beautiful hotel. We had a lake view room with a balcony which had a fantastic view. Room was excellent, very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with powerful shower. Room had air conditioning so was cool as it was 30 degrees. The terrace restaurant was very good both to drop in for coffee during the day and for dinner in the evenings. Underground garage parking on site which we pre-booked to make sure.

Stunning hotel. beautiful grounds, great location. Spotlessly clean. A fabulous hotel.

The staff running the restaurant during the day seem to spend the whole time stopping people sitting to have a coffee or drink, for no good reason, as the patio area was empty. On 2 occasions we had to argue our way to sit and have a drink. While we sat, they turned away at least 20 customers, many of whom were residents. It felt like you were unwanted and they watched you like a hawk. Don’t get me wrong, they were polite. But when you’re told, “there’s a lovely bar across the road” you feel like they think you’re riff raff and will steal the cutlery. That was the only bit that let it down, but when you pay a high cost, you do not expect that. Something needs to change as it is embarrassing being sent away in front of other people.

Exceptional hotel. From check in to check out the staff were excellent. The hotel, grounds and swimming pool are stunning. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Great tea and coffee making facilities. This was our second stop of our cycle ride round the Lake. There was no issue whatsoever leaving our bikes. Really helpful. A particular shout out to Valentine who checked us in. What a welcome.

- Lack of common areas, which could be during winter more constraining than during summer when one is enjoying outside venues - The reception area is quite small and this may be problematic during check out time

The property was absolutely gorgeous and had incredible views of Lake Geneva. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and there were lots of little touches of luxury incorporated throughout. The private parking garage was an excellent bonus.

The room we stayed in was very comfortable, but certain elements (e.g., the bathroom) seemed outdated for a property that was otherwise very luxurious.
