The location is really good and within easy reach of everywhere. There is a tram stop outside the front door. Spencer St station is 3 tram stops away, supermarkets are within 2 tram stops or a short walk and Marvel Stadium is a 3 minute walk. Unit has good space, bed was comfortable and there are views across the rail tracks to the CBD which is scenic as the light changes at dusk. There is not a closed in feel.

Overhead lighting in the living area could have been much brighter to enable reading at night whilst sitting on the couch. It didn't impact us but the one time we went to use the grill feature on the oven we discovered the oven wasn't working. Another minor issue was the sliding door to the bathroom/toilet didn't fully close

I give this place 10/10. Staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The unit wasnt big but we only stayed two nights; could easily have stayed a week. Very well equipped kitchenette, with an OLR coffee pod machine. The location is wonderful, with a tram stop right outside and a couple of coffee shops downstairs. Very close to Marvel stadium and walking distance to Southern Cross station, or 2 tram stops. We had a room at the back overlooking the railway but it was very quiet. I would definitely stay again.

The only thing I could pick on is the fact that the cupboards over the wash basin are so low I couldn't get my head near the basin when washing my face or cleaning teeth.

What great value for money and easy walking distance to everything. Clean, well equipped, comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful when arranging out of hours check in. Stayed here multiple times and will continue to return when visiting Melbourne on business.

Accessing the rooms takes concentration. There's weird walkways everywhere. If you're an international visitor, you need to be able to 'read' the room numbers and even that's not easy - eg one hundred and thirty instead of just 130. I would never want to be tipsy or drunk trying to get to the room. No 24 hour checkin, so be prepared, especially if your flight is a late night or gets delayed.

A slight issue with our original room, we were immediately moved to another room which was quite an upgrade from our original room. Staff were amazing, view was brilliant, bed was comfortable and we could not have asked for a better location. Plenty of restaurants close by. Woolworths just a short walk away. Tram basically outside the door. Would recommend to anyone to stay here.

The only issue I had was the blinds, but no motel/apartment I have ever stayed has good blackout blinds. The last apartment we were in did not have block out blinds at all just mesh ones. But that is more my issue cause I love a dark room to sleep in so I just wore my sleep mask.

This apartment is clean, well-facilitated, quiet, and safe. It is easy to travel by tram, and I could enjoy a beautiful view of the waterfront. I also appreciate the reception staff; she was so helpful in getting me an early check-in as my room was ready. This was a great start that uplifted me into getting into this apartment.

I couldn't find a trash collection bin in the apartment building to throw my waste. So I have to put my waste in the apartment's trash bin.

I found Docklands Private Collection at the last minute when in a desperate situation after my 18 year old arrived alone to Melbourne for uni and the previous hotel we'd booked for him was a disaster. The team at Docklands welcomed him, checked him in early, and eased my mind as I was on the other side of the world and unable to take care of things in person. The lodgings were clean, the people were incredibly kind and I would have no hesitation in booking again. Thank you Docklands for turning a very stressful situation for us into a really wonderful outcome.

I liked the design, bed, provided equipment for kitchen. Accommodation was close to public transport. Also quality of provided shampoo, conditioner was good.

Store was kind a far from accommodation. And kitchen hood made noise all the time, it was a little bit open, but closed it made much louder noise. Needs to be fixed, because not good for sleeping. Also requirement to clean after yourself and take out the rubbish was weird as it is Booking not AirBnb, otherwise money will be taken from card. And I could not find big rubbish bin.

I stayed at adocklands Private Collection for 3 weeks, as a temporary accommodation while hunting for a rental. It was perfect. Everything I needed, a fully operational kitchen, dishwasher, laundry machine and dryer, smart tv and decent wifi connection. Wendy took care of my weekly extensions and I didn't even have to change apartments. It was just what I needed in this transition.

Not much, I was pretty happy.

The location is superb close to shops, 300 metres to Marvel Stadium(AFL), trams right out front, and plenty of places to eat and drink. The bed was great, the kitchen was fully equipped, and there was a washing machine and dryer. TV in the bedroom. A small little balcony to get some fresh air. Tea and coffee supplied with a small container of milk in the fridge on arrival.

The shower was a little awkward, the door didn't open fully due to toilet placement.

It’s just 1 minutes away to get trams, great views and no noise area. It’s really close to the harbor so it’s very windy as well. However, the bedroom is inside so it’s no problem and bed was warm. The hot water was good!

It was nice that it was and apartment so it felt like a normal home but there was some mould on the ceiling above the bedroom.
