I stayed here with my family. It is very clean place. Location is great and staff is amazing. Highly recommend!

room was on the 8th floor with a superb view over the outer harbour area and towards fisherman's warff with the mountains in the background a15min walk to Victoria's inner harbour via a waterside pathway or 20min via the roadway, but the red city tour bus stops right outside this hotel so you can get on and off here. room was very comfortable with a fridge and a microwave, a very small balcony with just enough room for the two chairs. staff were very friendly and helpfull car parking available at hotel for extra cost. would stay here again, huge breafast but not included in price, pay separately.

the car park upper deck was full and the hire vehicle would not fit round a very tight turn to access the lower deck, so if you go to this hotel by car best to have a smaller vehicle just in case you have to park on the lower deck.

The room had some view of the water, which was important given the high cost of the room. We loved the beds, the tea and coffee provided, the fridge, microwave, cleanliness, closet - and even an umbrella, the extra robes (a friend told us we could ask for them), the bathroom was interesting with the super toilet, we have never seen one like that! The main features we were looking for was a pool - the facilities are amazing and the hotter with a view of the water! The only thing with the weight room is there is a machine that requires repair. My kids loved the vending machines and there is water with the lime and orange in the lobby. Having a good restaurant in the hotel was awesome, the service was super! Being right by the water and Fisherman's wharf was so much fun. It was a very special trip for my family, the first one together in 10 years. We had booked a different hotel which was not nearly as nice so we really appreciated the Coast Victoria. The welcome from the black cat at check-in was one of the highlights and the origami cranes in the room were awesome. They have a special significance for us. It would have been nice to have a balcony like my friend had in her room, but at least we could step out a little bit. We really enjoyed our time. This is the first time I heard of Spiral Beach, as per your query below.

Nice location, about an 8 min walk to the downtown 'core'. They offer shuttle services for free. Nice view of the harbour with Juliette balcony. On-site restaurant is good too. Hotel uses texting option to check in and make sure stay is going well. Service was friendly.

Room could have been a little cleaner, some vacuuming was missed and some dust, but nothing significant. Bed was softer and a little lumpier than I like. I would say it's just in need of a refresh. Would not prevent me from staying again though.

We really like the location and we had a wonderful view. It was a short walk to Fisherman’s Wharf and to Finest at Sea ( another great place for fish and chips or fish tacos. Also, the Pendray if you want to eat ir have tea there. The complimentary shuttle downtown was a huge bonus!

The restaurant was nice for a special dinner, but we did not eat there a second time- too expensive for breakfast or much.

Staff very helpful, professional and kind. Rooms and whole hotel were very clean. The service was impeccable. Food was great especially the kids' meal. Lots of activities for the family. Lots of complimentary service. Love their bath products too. Complimentary shuttle service was a lifesaver! Maybe the faucet can use some fixing. Just minor leak of the faucet sink in the bathroom otherwise, everything was great. Stay was comfortable and relaxing. Very family friendly. Hotel allows pets in certain floors too.

The staff were friendly, hotel room was nice (could use an update in the bathroom) and the view excellent. Lovely spot.

The bathroom was tired and needed a refresh mainly tiled floor (tiles cracked etc. ) Also didn't like the bidet in the bathroom. This one is an addition and electric making it not very sanitary for a space that is shared by many people. The bidet (because there is no option of not using it) would make me not stay here again. Otherwise, it's a great hotel.

- Location: Really good. It's a good and calm location but at the same time, close to the main tourist attractions. - Comfortable: The room is spacious and comfortable. - Bathroom: Spacious and the the toilet seat is awesome.

- The price: Too expensive for the 3 nights we spent there. - Parking price: Also something that could be offered for a cheaper cost or honestly, free.

The hotel is beautiful. We had a pretty nice side view of the harbour. When I booked I was told they only had a city view room left so we were very pleased. The amenities are great. The pool is lovely with 1/2 inside with shade and half outside. There is also a great hot tub that’s nice and hot. There is a well equipped fitness room as well. The location is great. it’s right on fisherman’s wharf. There are water taxis (they’re expensive so we didn’t use them)or it’s just a nice 15 minute walk to the shops and restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel The Blue Crab was great as well.

Our only negative was that the parkade under the hotel that fits trucks fills up very quickly. We ended up having to park outside and our vehicle was covered in bird crap the next morning. We were charged the same amount as the cars that were in the locked parkade. If you have a truck and want to park in the parkade you need to arrive fairly early in the day.
