excellent location! Amenities were nice as well. At night, the view of the San Diego skyline was perfect.

Our room was definitely nice but you can tell there has been some water damage. There was a slight smell of mildew but I figured it’s part of staying somewhere so close to the water. It was still nice enough that I plan to come back!

The room was very dark. That was not expected, but beds were comfortable and room was clean. The restaurant was excellent. I loved that it was near the water and plenty of walkway areas on the marina and across the street. It was pretty quiet also.

The room was way too dark. Needed more lighting. The rooms on the second and third floor had more lighting because the large windows would not be blocked. The first floor is blocked by bushes so even when shutters are open the room is extremely dark.

The staff had great customer service skills. Great room, great view, and awesome pool. Especially loved the extended pool hours. Will definitely stay here again.

The only issue we had was when we called to ask for more towels and we still had our privacy sign on the door, the person who brought the towels just used the key card to open the door, didn’t knock.. just barged in. Other than that, the rest of the times towels were delivered to our room the rest of the staff knocked.

The bathroom had no vent fan and with three of us it got hot and too steamy in there. The bathroom door is on a spring so it was hard to get it to stay open even when wedging a towel under it. We tried to take a midday nap and housekeeping was super loud and slamming doors for hours.

Restaurant had great food and service. Was pricey with the additional 4% (food price increase?) And other fees which I am not sure the hotel has any say over that or if it is a state issue. That being said every meal was enjoyable and convenient. We ate breakfast and dinner there many times. Highly recommend the Monte Cristo, breakfast burrito, and the Chirizo Benedict. The beet salad was wonderful also! The location was great for dinner as you can watch the sun setting in the marina. The room was comfortable and quiet. Location of the hotel, restraunt and pool areas were fabulous. We enjoyed the fire dancer by the pool on Thursday evening.

Shower curtain rod could have been hung so you could shower without curtain touching you, a minor irritation. When we arrived the room did not have any soap, shampoo or conditioner. When I called they arrived quickly with plenty of extras. There was only decaf coffee also so maybe the room had not been fully restocked before we checked in? Our largest complaint was that the vending machines did not have drinks stocked.

Great location by the ocean, spacious room, and bathroom, with a cute little balcony, I'd stay there again.

They were understaffed, and they didn't change the sheets in one day, I asked for sheets change, and the housekeeping lady gave me a plastic bag filled with sheets, I told her: are you gonna do it? She said I will send someone and she never came back 😁 the restaurant's staff were super nice, though.

I liked its location and the staff was very friendly!

I didnt like that we have to pay $25 a day for parking. At the front desk all they said when i checked in was "We need to hold a deposit of $150 which we will return at the end of the stay." It was after deducting the money for parking. Its better to be up front about it. Also, there was no beach access from the location. There were no desserts on the menu at the blue restaurant.

hreat location and water views

the suite accommodates 6 people but the bathroom layout does NOT easily accommodate that size group. sink area shouls be separate from toilet/shower. in addition, this suite definitely needs several mirrors rather than only one in the bathroom. this bathroom situation made it very hard for all of us to get ready, which defeated my purpose in booking a suite—for extra space and ease for a larger group.

Location was amazing. Right on the marina. Beautiful views all around. On site restaurant was really good. Went there for breakfast twice and had dessert there too. Amenities were nice as they had a huge pool with a hot tub, there were bicycles with 2 hr free usage and a tennis court there as well.

Not much to say as this property did an amazing job at everything. Maybe just to add, there was no room service in case you were looking to have food brought to your room.

We love this resort for its views of the marina , the lush landscaping and the spacious comfortable immaculate rooms. All of the staff are friendly, courteous and very helpful always going above and beyond to help… this stay included interactions with front desk, maintenance , housekeeping and restaurant personnel . We love the location on shelter island an will return again next year if we can.

we’ve tried this restaurant several times over the past two years but are definitely disappointed . Too expensive for what you got and couldn’t change item at all ( example remove jalapeños from flatbread as item was pre made) ; also no burger choice without pork fat in it . We enjoyed many seafood options at other area restaurants at similar prices . Not sure most items need to be Polynesian style even though that’s the resort theme.
