It was modern and clean, had a nice atnosphere.

The entrance and the parking. The parking fee was 15 EUR per night and just within 5 minutes walk there is a huge Park&Ride facility for 6 Eur per day, 6.30 per day if you go to the city centre with the public transport. The Hotel parking area was also large but empty. So it should be max 8-9 Eur per day (or even lower), or somehow included in room price, so that the guests do not go to P&R and are more confortable and also the hotel will make more money from the parking.

The building was very modern. The bed and pillows where so comfortable. Was like sleeping on air. The bathroom (shower room) was large and had plenty of hot water. The reception staff where excellent, I didn’t catch their names, but they where “up for a laugh”. The bus stop was less than a 5 minute walk, no 102 or 107 takes you Utrecht Central We would definitely stay again 😁

Room was a little smaller than I thought, but it was ok. Not enough clothes hanger space. I don’t understand why the cleaning staff only leave 2 teabags, 2 sugars and 2 coffee sachets! I know they get replenished, but just 2? The only other negative, we had to check out a day earlier than expected, (due to personal reasons), but due to booking the hotel through booking.com, they wouldn’t refund that one night stay

This Hotel has the best value for money in Utrecht. I have been there 4 times already. It's not in the city center but a bus stop is near and you're at Utrecht Central Station within 15 Minutes. I noticed they must have new furniture in the breakfast area since my last visit. The rooms and the bathrooms are bigger than they are usually in cheap hotels and clean. I visit the netherlands multiple times per year and will come again. And again and again. Because of my good experiences I have chosen 2 Holiday Inn Express Hotels in Scotland for my trip this year in September and am looking forward to my stays.

Parking became very expensive (15€/night) but many people still seemed to pay it with no problem. Just use the park-and-ride which is 500m down the street for 6€/24h. Sometimes I thought the breakfast rolls were from yesterday. Maybe they were, or from early in the morning and then they were crunchy at 9:00 when I ate them. Still I'd give breakfast 9 of 10 points. They don't charge extra for it and there is everything you need.

the bed and bathroom is great, location for my work is excellent, i like the comfy bed and size of the room, bathroom is very clean and modern. parking is under the hotel.

not sure why the windows is so narrow with no protection from flies or insects and also i could not work the air conditioning, the doors is so noisy in this hotel as it just closed automaticaly with a loud bang. the lady receptionist I encountered behaved like she wanted to be somewhere else, very different to another lady who would go out of her way to assist. the dinner choice is only pizza, not sure why there is not bigger choice.breakfast is always the same and with limited choice, i would prefer something more Dutch, maybe more cheese, jogurt, fruit choices or omelette/eggs

The location is great if you have meetings at a company in Papendorp. Very quiet area, and beautiful scenery. The reception can get you taxis and it costs about 20 EUR to Utrecht Centraal. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was adequate. The front office staff is very friendly and helpful - they make you feel like you are among friends. The hot water in the shower is almost instantaneous - I have never had such fast response to moving the water mixer in a hotel this class. The bed was comfortable, and there were tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Just very minor things... Getting in to the hotel is a bit weird,as the front drive looks like a service entrance. On the floors, the lift lobby is closed off with a wooden door with a handle - opening that while managing your luggage is an unnecessary hassle.

Staff is fantastic, I spent some time with Hossain the bartender and he really knows his cocktails. Same with Rui the chef, the menu is small and simple but the cooking is fantastic. Staff at the reception is great as well.

Position is a bit far from everything, but really quiet. I needed an on site washing service and unfortunately they only had a third party one, but it wasn't a great problem. Rooms might improve with a better wardrobe/desk, and maybe a mini fridge

My stay at Holiday Inn Express Utrecht was absolutely delightful! From check-in to check-out, the process was smooth, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I always felt welcomed, whether at the reception, the bar, or the restaurant. I was particularly impressed with the helpfulness of the team – no matter the time of day or night, someone was always available to assist with any questions. The level of customer service here truly made my experience memorable.

Excellent Staff, very warm, welcoming and helpful, that is the number 1 observation. The hotel by itself is as expected of any Holiday Inn Express, and it was clean and well maintained. Great parking at the hotel, as u know its very difficult to park in Europe, so if u want a good hotel with parking, this is one of the best options.

A bit further away from the city than i expected, but the location is in a beautiful part of the outskirts of the city. Well connected by bus to the city center, but u have to be careful of catching the last buses in time.

The room was very tidy and the room service was always on point. The breakfast had many options to offer, so we always found something good to start the day. When we arrived, there has been a issue with the electrics and the whole hotel had no power. The staff was really nice to us and helped through this situation a lot. After the power went back on, our room still had no power. Again the staff helped fixing this issue pretty quick and came to us with different solutions. In the end, everything was perfect and we felt very welcomed at this hotel!

The staff were lovely and were very friendly and welcoming. The room itself is nice and clean, no faults honestly. The bathroom was spacious and modern. Double bed is sufficient and clean linen. The overall building is nice and it isn't hard to find the room(s). The view from the window is alright, even if you are facing inwards, still get sunlight and somewhat of a view. Wifi is good and could get it throughout the hotel. Connection into Utrecht is good and the bus is near enough to walk.

The only issue I had was the breakfast, had expectations of what it would be like. Went earlier in the morning as said on the signs that it would be the best time to go. The pastries, cereal and non-sweet selection wasn't huge. But it is enough to fill you up for the day and you can always mix and match everything.
