Check in with Xuan (I believe that was the spelling) was amazing, they were super friendly and super helpful with telling us about the local amenities of the hotel. As someone who works at a hotel themselves, I do like to take note on how other staff greet guests, Xuan was a prime example. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were a good size.

Internet was quite bad some nights, it would connect and then just not load anything, i called reception and they told me to just turn off my phone or forget the network, didn’t help. I believe the shower may have been leaking as every time we took a shower there would be a huge puddle all over the floor.

For the price (we went in off season) this is a great choice for Queenstown. Close to town, about 15-20 mins walk down the hill and along the water, so it's in easy reach but still quiet and peaceful. We had a forest view room, but you can enjoy the stunning view of the lake from the top of the hill. The staff were lovely and accommodating. Nice to have a sauna and jacuzzi after a long day of walking/driving. Bed was super comfortable and powerful aircon/heating much appreciated.

As others have said, it's a bit dated, not so much the common areas but the rooms/bathroom. Perfectly serviceable though and we weren't there to stay in a hotel room all day. I would say the parking is a bit expensive - i agree with charging during peak season, but when the carpark is half empty it should be cheaper/free and just on a first come/first served basis. We also felt the food from the restaurant as room service was overpriced for what it was. Gym was a bit outdated and the jacuzzi was unavailable a fair amount due to cleaning. Others who have commented that the pool was cold - it's outdoor, what do you expect? All in all i think you get what you pay for with this hotel.

The beds were comfortable,.the room had some room to park your suitcade. A laundrette in the carpark. Although Perhaps should have been free for the price of the atay. The rooms were quiet. The cleaning ladies never missed a morning to service our room. They always restocked any bathroom products.

We have stayed 10 years ago, but finding the facilities are washed out and need an update. The breakfast was average, not the best quality. The dinner menu quite overpriced. Overall, there are so many places to stay that are newer and can choose elsewhere for the same money.ill be honest and will stay elsewhere.

Very comfortable hotel a short walk into Queenstown with very helpful and friendly staff. We had a 'forest view' studio suite with a kitchen which was perfect for our needs and great views of the mountains above the trees. Very comfortable beds The freshly made omelettes were lovely as was the bircher muesli and chia pudding cups. Nice selection of breads . Really though, the staff are very much a huge asset.

Some breakfast items were often close to inedible. The scrambled eggs, the sausages and the bacon. They'd be better off doing smaller amounts and replenishing them more often. The machine coffee just awful. Open the curtains at breakfast so everyone can enjoy that amazing view Definitely needs updating in some areas. That hideous enormous ancient dried floral arrangement on the wall at reception is well past it's used by date and needs burning. As does much of the 'art work' in the rooms. Updating small things would give it more of a contemporary, upmarket feel. The spa area is another area that could do with an update and attention to detail.

The executive Room size is huge with a sofa and desk. The spa , sauna, and heated pool made the ski trip more fun. The breakfast has enough choices to start the day. The locked dry room is handy to store ski gears. Walking distance to the centre. The hotel is a bit outdated but still in good condition. The price is acceptable. The welcoming staff made our stay memorable! Highly recommended!

The room has a bit smell when we first walked in. I believe it’s because it has not been used for a bit. Once we open the windows it is fine. So it does not affect our stay at all.

Beautiful outlook and big generous sized rooms which were well equipped with everything you would need. Front of house staff were super lovely and loved the kids journals & drink vouchers etc. Nice walk into town and with lots of construction and road works centrally it was nice to be away from that.

Floor quite cold in our room on lower level. Need underfloor heating for the tiled areas and the bathroom needs a facelift. Just quote old and dated. Pool area a nice idea but again the room and decor was super dated and a bit tired. Still pleasant enough to use the facilities.

A special mention goes to the leadership team/senior management Agata Kurdziel, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She provided us with a personalised letter upon our arrival, which was a heartfelt and thoughtful gesture that truly brightened our day. This small yet significant touch made us feel incredibly special and appreciated. Our room was spacious, clean, and offered every comfort we could wish for. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. The breakfast team are warm and welcoming ("service with a smile"). Thank you, team.

Our immediate arrival (reception) did not go as smoothly as we had hoped, but senior leadership quickly turned things around.

The beds were SO cozy! The rooms clean & spacious, modern. The service was outstanding from every worker we encountered, the view from hotel was breath taking and only a 5min drive into the town if even that. The pool, sauna and gym were amazing to have there, room service was mostly yummy & fast! and last but not least they accomodated to a late check out request the night before!

The eggs at breakfast weren’t the best and I’m not even that fussy of a person, no microwave in rooms, the spa was being cleaned the morning we wanted to use it :( and only other thing was there was no creamy sauce for the pasta we ordered at room service (it was like plain pasta with some olive oil maybe but they said it was a cream sauce) still yum/edible

An amazing hotel with an amazing view of the surrounding area. You wake up to the view of water with snow capped mountains behind. Secure underground parking is available with drying areas for all of your snow gear. All meals served in their restraint could not be faulted.

Something we did not mind but would concern some people is that it is located a little way out of town and if you wish to walk it is a long steep hill to get back to the hotel. Especially if you have been in town shopping or out for a meal and a drink.

We were in a inward facing room, so didn't get the view of the lake and the mountains but that was ok as we did ski everyday and only used the room during evening/night time. The hotel is close to the city, easy reachable with a car and for the fit ones, easy to walk to town as well if one likes a 20-30 min walk.

Restaurant was rather expensive. Breakfast had only a mall option of either continental ($29) or all buffet (35?). The bar did serve coffee and a mini croissant but otherwise one had to get the buffet option. I would be great to have a la carte breakfast for those ones who don't normally eat a whole buffet but still like to enjoy some breakfast.
