Food was superb, comfortable room, lovely view, great location & friendly staff. Nice pub, cracking pint and made welcome by locals which added to the overall enjoyment. Main point though is the price...exceptional value for money

Certain areas there was just a lack of attention to detail. A cobweb here & there, blue tack on walls. The area between residents access & bar was underwhelming. It was not reflective of the rest of the property.Fresh laundry chucked in piles, bare walls, post left on carpet. Service at breakfast was slow, in nearly a hour we'd only had our cereals but we weren't in a rush but it was well worth the wait. It was superb. We didn't get a "proper" welcome & on checking out wasn't asked how things had been. Just little things that prevented a full score but the plus points far outweighed the negative ones and for what we paid it was great value for money & exceeded our expectations

Food was very good and in large portions. Wonderful view over the bay and room was a reasonable size. Good range of real ale.

The Powder Room had an entirely enclosed en-suite bathroom. That would normally be okay. One problem was there was no light switch - instead there was a motion sensor which was erratic and often left you in the dark and sometimes came on even if the door was closed with no one in there. Also on two mornings there was no hot water. On one morning a member of staff managed to switch it on and on another I was able to use a shower in another room. These were inconveniences which did not effect the overall high quality of our stay.

The breakfast was included in the price of our stay which was great news. There was a large selection of breakfast meals and the service was excellent. The room was comfortable and had a lovely view of the bay. I would definitely recommend and would visit again, especially considering the price.

The only complaint is the shower as the temperature quickly changed from hot to cold whilst in use. I only needed a quick morning shower so I wasn’t too bothered but just worth mentioning for future guests.

The staff were fantastic and were nothing but helpful, friendly and polite! The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was amazing! The breakfast which was included was fantastic too! I'd definitely stay here again!

The place seems to be well understaffed and I felt a bit sorry for the staff as they are run ragged although they kept smiling and being polite and friendly. The shower was a bit dodgy but I coped OK with it.

The room was lovely and clean. Very warm which we were thankful for. The view was excellent. The two small faults (which we did mention to staff as they probably didn’t know about) was the sockets at the bed head didn’t work, also the door didn’t lock. There was only one other person staying in the hotel on that night , so I knew we would be ok. The breakfast was fantastic. All in all it was well worth the money and I would certainly stay again . Thank you x

As said above , the door to lock and sockets at bed head to work

Had eaten and had a drink there previously on a couple of occasions and been well satisfied. Decided to go B&B this time and was not disappointed. Compact but comfortable en-suite room with sea view. Decent selection of real ales in the bar. The outstanding feature has got to be the full-English breakfast - excellent quality and lots of it, there was enough on my plate to feed 2 people easily. I finally had something to eat again in the late evening - a sandwich, since the breakfast kept me going all day.

The view was INCREDIBLE. My husband was speechless when he saw it. Our room was gorgeous & really convenient for drinks, dinner & breakfast. One of the barmen was the smiliest, happiest person I’ve met. Walking along the promenade will always be a special memory for us.

Only staying at this fantastic location one night.

Room spacious fantastic view. Tea and coffee facalities, location. Facilities. The breakfast despite service was expectational. Tasty hot and best

The delay with breakfast, confusion over two orders taken. Only two people in the restaurant. Service was very slow toast arrived after the cooked breakfast. With incorrect items. The car parking for hotel was not refundable payable in addition to hotel. Due to late breakfast additional parking is required to be paid the following day.

Great location, fabulous staff who went above and beyond. I experienced a extremely painful condition with my knee which meant we had to leave early to get to hospital back in Liverpool. Chef made us sandwiches for our journey, rest of staff done everything possible to facilitate my ease of getting from room to car. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be returning.

Nothing.

We booked this hotel as it had a gorgeous view of the bay. The hotel was within easy walking distance to the prom. The location was brilliant. There was a lot of variety at breakfast, the cooked breakfast was really nice and the proportions were big. We also had two evening meals and again the portion size was big. Would visit again.

It would have been nice to have teabags in the room, but we only had a kettle?
