Hotel has perfect location - easy to get from the airport with S9 train, for navigating in Berlin you have U2 metro station just across the road and Alexanderplatz station in 5-7 minutes walking. Hotel itself is modern, well decorated, staff was very friendly and helpful. The room has proper sound insulation from the street noise, so don't be afraid to get a room with the view on the road. However, you could hear your neighbors. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was also well equipped. In case you want shopping, Alexa shopping mall is in 5 minutes walking distance.

Breakfast was surprisingly poor: you only have omelet with strange garlic/onion powder taste (why?), and there is no warm meat options to it, like bacon or sausages. On the third day you don't really enjoy it. You can still make yourself some sandwiches with ham & cheese. But pastry was good, freshly baked every morning. Also the restaurant area is quite small, so during breakfast it will be very crowded, so you have to go very early. In addition our room had weird sewer/canalization smell every time you return in the evening, I guess something has to do with ventilation. (if you run the water in the bathroom for some time then it will be gone)

The location for a good price was the main draw - you're very close to Museum Island and shorter walking distance to other sights compared to other hotels near Alexanderplatz. The area wasn't very busy and also felt quite safe as there are police and security officials patrolling the nearby old city hall and embassy buildings. The breakfast options weren't extensive but each was high quality - make sure to catch when they bring out fresh, warm croissants! The staff were very friendly and assisted with multiple needs during our stay. Useful to have evening meal options in the downstairs dining space.

The room was on the smaller size which you might expect for a more budget hotel in the city centre - but shouldn't be a problem if you plan on spending more time exploring the amazing city rather than sitting in your room! However the space could have been utilised a bit more efficiently such as having a few more spaces to store clothes and other items.

This is a busy, well run hotel. For Berlin, it is well located being a short walk from the underground, a 15-minute walk to Alexanderplatz shopping centre and train station, and a variety of restaurants. The reception staff were very helpful and knowledgeable of the best places to visit. The rooms are well soundproofed, and we did not notice the construction site noise on the building opposite. The food at the hotel was fairly standard for a Holiday Inn Express.

The immediate surrounding area is fairly stark, is not very well lit, and is a bit authoritarian!

The beds were comfortable as always. Finally there was an extra ottoman available in the room. We had asked them previously when we were booked in a similar room (booked for 2 people too) for a 2nd chair, but they declined to provide us one by saying no other chair was available in the entire hotel. We are glad that it was provided to us during this stay.

There was no functioning exhaust in the window-less bathroom. The shower door was also designed to incompletely close off the shower so it was fairly easy to get water everywhere. Our previous rooms were designed differently. Due to the time constraints of our train schedule, we were unable to eat breakfast and apparently, the costs for breakfast are included and you don't get a discount if you don't eat breakfast there.

The staff at the hotel are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Especially everyone at the reception (I needed some copies made and was assisted very ably and very fast). The room is clean and well laid out. The Dove products in the bathroom were lovely, the bed is very comfortable, wifi fast and the breakfast varied and plentiful. The location is perfect, the tube station is directly in front, and being on the U2 line means the connection is excellent. The Netherlands Embassy is literally around the corner.

There was very little room for tidying away ones clothes - just six clothes-hangers and a tiny, high shelf. For short stays not a problem, but for longer stays not ideal.

The hotel was lovely and clean. The staff were very professional and friendly. The location was perfect. Very close to a little enclave of restaurants and an underground station. The food was very nice and was replenished frequently during breakfast. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the air conditioning was a bonus. I also would like to mention that I left my purse in the safe and the staff were brilliant in organising its safe return to the uk. I would recommend anyone to stay in a Holiday Inn as the standard seems to be high whichever country you are in.

Location - quiet area but only 10 minute walk into main area / Alexandersplatz train station. River Spree literally behind the hotel. Room (727) large and comfortable but void of any cupboard storage space! Wardrobe area for 6 hangers but no drawers - you have to keep clothes in suitcase. Bathroom good with a great shower and toiletries. Tea / coffee / kettle. Reception staff very friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English. Continental breakfast was more than adequate to satisfy most tastes and fill you up. Staff very helpful, big smiles and clean tables. Gets busy at peak times - to be expected. Room cleaned daily.

Lack of storage space in bedroom so clothes could have been unpacked - we stayed for 5 days so lived out of suitcase.

Rooms without electric cattle - very strange and very inconvenience for guests. Booking.com must inculcate it its minimum requirement list in room at their website. In Vienna, Austria, hotels started providing free drinks etc for reusing towels and bed sheet. Good initiative. Normally Hôtel save/make lot of money for not laundering towels & bed sheet daily in the name of SAVE PLANET. Booking.com must take action in this regards.

This hotel has a generally new and upscale feel. The staff at reception was very friendly and helped us map out a walk that wound up taking us to beautiful sites, like the German Parliament building, gorgeous historical museum and library buildings, churches and a lovely stroll and dinner along the river. We were stopping in Berlin overnight in order to catch a flight home and this walk turned the entire stay into a destination stop. The bed was comfy, although I'll never adapt to the idea of two single bed comforters on a shared king or queen size bed. The bathroom was spacious with a large walk in shower. Breakfast was in an actual restaurant setting rather the too common breakfast room in most hotels of this category and the food selections were very good.

We didn't realize how far this was from the airport. The cab ride in light traffic was over an hour and cost 63euros. We initially arrived in a rental car and were shocked to find this large hotel had only 10 parking spaces in an extremely tight underground garage. Had we not been turning in our rental car this could have been a real headache.

Very good beds, clean hotell, reception services worked just perfect, everything was just very good. Hotell location is very good. It is easy to arrive to hotell from airport with public transportation.

The breakfast was good and enough, but to be fabulous it should had been little bit more to choice like porridge and more vegetables and more english breakfast things. I didn't like that the door to outdoor terrace was open at breakfast time, because it came smoke in to the whole place of breakfast serving area. I am allergy/asthmatic person. Little gym was a thing that we little bit missed in the hotel.
