Good-sized, well-presented room. It was a pleasure to stay in a hotel that seems to have moved on properly from the pandemic and is offering service levels similar to those that were normal before the pandemic. There is a pleasant and spacious bar and dining area with bar service available until late.

Although it was great to see that daily room servicing was offered, there were one or two issues with the delivery of the room servicing. One day, even though I turned around the sign from 'Do Not Disturb' to 'Please Clean The Room' just a few minutes after 11 am, the room was not done at all. Other days, variously the bin was not emptied or the tea / milk supplies were not topped up. So, just a little more attention to detail on this would be better. Also, just be aware that there is a slight separation between the location of the hotel next to the Armouries and the City Centre. It is not a long walk but the hotel is not right in the heart of the city centre.

Location convenient for docks area, and not too far from town centre. Reasonably priced parking next door (£8/night). Pretty good breakfast.

Room aircon/heating was a bit noisy.

A nice hotel. Nothing fancy, just what you would expect from a hotel of this class. It was a bit expensive for what it was but that was probably because we went on a bank holiday weekend. The breakfast was okay. Not a huge amount of choice but enough variety to suit everyone. Four hot options which were bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and beans. Also toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit, croissants and blueberry muffins. All staff we dealt with were lovely. Good location for the city centre but just far enough out for it not to be noisy at night. We parked in the Citipark next door and got a discounted rate by scanning the ticket at the hotel reception.

There were a few hairs on the bed when we got there.

The breakfast was widely available, the staff were incredibly polite and helpful. The location and modern aestetics of the hotel were a very nice change from most hotels I have been in. The complementary tea and coffee in the room was a very nice touch.

I would've liked the opportunity to chose which floor I was on, I have an anxiety disorder that means I cannot take elevators and my room was booked onto the very top floor, so I had to climb up 5 flights of stairs to get to my room each time. The aircon in my room either didn't work or was unintuitive, my room was incredibly warm with no way to cool down. The bodywash in my shower was empty.

The staff were really friendly and attentive. The restaurant food was beautiful as the scampi was hot and tasty! My friends gammon was fresh, hot and tasty too. The breakfast was lovely apart from having run out of bacon on the first morning at 8.30! The orange juice was nice not watered down like some hotels. I liked the fact that the bathroom door can close the toilet door leaving the rest of the bathroom open to use. With a nice decent shower.The black out curtains and lighting was good. The parking wasn’t far and only £8 a day after the hotel gives you the discount. A nice walk to the city centre.

The room had a broken side table which should have been picked up by the housekeeping staff. We noticed a few things in our bedroom which also should’ve been rectified by cleaning staff but when reception staff were notified they immediately sorted the problem without a fuss. All staff were friendly including the housekeeping staff.

Very good food nicely cooked both breakfast and dinner - reception staff attentive and eager to help. Hotel is overall very clean just a couple of niggles - but once sorted I would give it 10 out of 10.

During busy spells tables slow to be wiped clean after previous customers had left tables where cleared but left with crumbs and drinks rings . Back of sink in our bathroom had black mold which was visible in mirror over sink not pleasant to look at when cleaning teeth quite easy for cleaner to miss this build up - chewing gum stuck on outside window sill also easy for cleaner to miss.

Superb location if you want to visit Royal Armouries. Typical low-budget hotel you know what to expect from. Responsive and helpful staff.

There was only one pair of towels in the room even though it was clear there were two of us. The parking situation is not ideal - relatively expensive 3rd party car park, there was supposed be a discount but the whole thing was a bit confusing and in the end it seems the discount wasn't honoured (maybe because I've lost the original ticket and had to get a duplicate) - but at least there is a parking with ample space, and it's very close, which isn't always the case in locations central to the city centre. The breakfast was medicore at best, not the greatest selection nor quality of food, but it was fine.

I liked the location of the hotel (right next to a car park too), the bed was super comfortable and so were the pillows, the shower was great and good sized. Breakfast was lovely and buffet style, good choice of both hot food and continental. The rooms were clean and inviting, I felt relaxed in this hotel. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and gave great advice about the local area. My mum and dad also liked their room, they didn’t complain once about the hotel which is a super plus! This was also the best priced hotel we stayed in this week, £65 a night inc breakfast.

Only downside was that when the sofa bed was made up, it left no room to walk past to get to the main bed. This meant that there was no room to put our luggage or make it accessible to open, also there was no light light above the mirror opposite the bathroom if you wanted to do your hair/makeup in that area. We were room 313.

Fascinating location. Facilities great. Staff superb and very halpful. Hotel modern and clean. Well presented with Christmas special welcoming note from manager in the room. Shower etc great. Breakfast good selection and well presented. Convenient check in/out times. Easy taxi direct line call pad. Luggage storage room. Great (longish) waterside walk to town. Hotel overlooks Armouries Museum (free and really something for everyone). Canal walk/jogging/cycling track just a few steps away. Great modern redevelopment dockside area to explore. Canary bar (nearby) very welcoming.

Nothing - Great value if you are able to use most of the facilities.

Staff lovely and friendly. Reception staff happy to help. Small but comfy room. Breakfast tasty and plenty of choice. Food in the evening was good value for money.

Sadly room wasn't cleaned to a high standard. The glass in the shower was dirty with splodges of someone else's shower gel. The glass as you came in the bathroom was dirty and had a handprint on it. Someone's blood was clumped next to the glass. Otherwise the room was cleaned well and everything else did look clean. Didn't complain as it didn't affect our stay and everything else was a high standard.
