Location was excellent, close to the harbour and just across the road from Parliament. Lots of choices for dining within walking distance and easy access to buses.
Breakfast was included and was good for half of four day stay but on the last two days no hot breakfast was available.

Everything! Very central for walking and all types of transport. Lovely area right by legislative building. Quiet at night. Staff cleaned and checked room daily and replaced food at buffet. Amazing. For the price. Very clean and comfy, big room. And I must mention the waffle maker....loved using that at breakfast. Lots of choice at buffet and all you can eat! We are a couple but it seemed great for families and staff seemed very helpful to them . So glad chose to book had an amazing week.
Nothing. I wanted a comfy clean reasonable cost....and I got that and more. The free buffet breakfast was amazing and not offered by any other place at the price in the locality.

The location is perfect as you can walk to all the tourist destination with ease. Room was very clean and this is one of only a few hotels that have air conditioning. That is a real bonus if you are visiting Victoria during the summer months. They include a really nice buffet breakfast which saves you quite a bit of money if you had to go out for breakfast at a restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
We found the mattress to be on the uncomfortable side. The pillows are lumpy foam and my opinion horrible. This is coming from a guy who has always used down pillows so I can't really make a fair comparison. Next time I will take my own pillow.

Excellent hotel! Having read the other reviews before booking we were hoping (and expecting) for a nice hotel but we were not expecting it to be as nice as it turned out to be. The location is obviously excellent - right in the middle of busy Victoria near all the gorgeous architecture and historical sights. The room we were in was super nice - modern design, well furnished, great view of the side of the parliament, very comfortable bed. The check-in was super smooth - the receptionist was very professional and organised. Everything took just 30 seconds and she explained all the essentials quickly. Checkout was also super smooth and the front desk staff was very helpful and let us keep our car parked while we explored the nearby harbor area for a few hours. The parking is right outside the lobby and there is enough of it. Overall - this hotel was at least as nice as the Marriott and Hiltons we've stayed in previously. We were just here for 1 night before catching our flight back from Victoria at the end of our holiday and it was just perfect for that but we'll definitely be looking to stay here in our next trip too where we hope we'll get to stay for longer.
Our king room had a large skylight which made the room quite bright early in the morning. Ideally we would've liked to have had full blackout in the room.

We enjoyed the breakfast options and they offer plenty of time for anyone to come down and eat. I really liked that the room is fairly quiet so our baby was able to nap as much as she needs. The staff have all been friendly and helpful - we felt comfortable communicating with them from the time we booked and throughout our stay. We’ve been able to check in early which we’re grateful of. We also appreciate that they accommodated our request to check out a couple hours later than the check out time (with a fee) so we got to stay a little longer and allow our baby to nap and be comfortable until it’s time for us to travel again. They also honoured our free parking because I booked prior to their change (it used to be complimentary but they do charge for it now FYI). Overall it’s a great hotel and we’ll consider booking here again in the future.
Room is a little dusty but it’s expected due to the carpet and heater. The room we got is also a bit small and the layout is a little awkward because the closet was in an awkward location. The beds are a little too soft for my preference with one being softer than the other. I could’ve used an additional space around the bathroom sink but it’s the typical bathroom sink so nothing I can complain about. Overall it’s a 3 star hotel so all these are normal and IMO the hotel is doing amazing for what they offer.

Graciously welcomed much later than I expected to arrive. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Slept well and enjoyed an outstanding breakfast of very good quality in a pleasant breakfast room. I was impressed with the breakfast chef and his attentiveness to the self-serve food area and to the guests. I didn't realize ahead of time that I was staying during a holiday weekend. It impressed me even more that the weekend staff provided consistently good service , even when they worked while others had time off with their families.
The location of my room during this (my first) stay at Embassy Inn was not optimal, as I was awakened earlier than I preferred by the arrival of the housekeeping staff, and their conversations while starting their work day occured when I was still in bed. But having a very nice breakfast put me in a happier mood.

The 1 bedroom suite was perfect for recovery from my operation at RJH. My medical escort had a large foldout couch in the living room, and I had easy access to the restroom just outside the bedroom. This unit had two balconies, a full kitchenette, an apartment sized refrigerator, two large clothes closets, and ample storage space for clothing. This suite was pet friendly at an additional $20 per night. As I was recovering, we declined housekeeping services.
No fault of the hotel, but a very hyperactive, excited sports team of young ladies was staying on the same floor, and they're super loud going between rooms visiting. This only happened for a couple of hours in the late evening's, but they usually settled down when it reached 1030pm.

Very clean and quiet. Those were our top two priorities and it delivered. The location was walking distance from the wharf and tourist areas and directly across from Parliament. The underground parking was convenient.
The breakfast area is gloomy. The food is typical for hotel chains with good waffles, but terrible eggs and potatoes. The fresh fruit was good and there were plenty of drink selections. The breakfast staff was very helpful.

I had a corner room that was bright and spacious. On one side it faced the side of the Legislature, which is beautifully lit at night. On the end of the unit there was a balcony facing south - an unexpected bonus! It was furnished like a bachelor apartment. The check-in staff were extremely helpful, the breakfast was adequate. The location is second to none - right beside the Legislature. I will make it a point of coming back.
Lack of glassware in the room. The shower took several minutes to reach a warm temperature. The TV was on the small side but sufficient.
