Been looking to come her for years and never got round to it! A real escape from it all place where nature takes centre stage. Walking down to Wembury beach and easy access to the coast path and short drives to excellent pubs what more can you ask for. There's an onsite shop and everyone we spoke to were just brilliant and so enthusiastic about the place. won't be hesitating to go back and would recommend to anyone who likes somewhere peaceful, a bit quirky and just loads of walking, sky and sea. Even though it was late September it was amazing weather and still sea swimming weather without a wetsuit! And the dog absolutely adored the holiday too.

We loved it. But be warned it is very hilly all across the site so expect to get a fair amount of exercise in.

Its a Beautiful Valley where we stayed in a lovely cabin, all so clean and inviting, plenty of room for a family of 4, with great facilities. Couldn't fault it. Breakfast was so peaceful and relaxing looking out of the windows. We were in low lane and we had some gorgeous views of the stream, horse riders passing, with surrounding woodlands. The wildlife was so nice to see squirrels visiting every day, one in particular, including a Robin, brief spotting of other little birds. Certainly appreciated the nuts we put down for them. We definitely would like to visit again, we crammed in plenty for a week stay. South Devon is very Special, the beaches also are just Breath taking, Beautiful. With the Bay just a small walk away, made our stay even more Wonderful. Thankyou for being so Welcoming.

Just the steep bends, with the car, to begin with when we first arrived, little unexpected but soon got the hang of it. Not even a negative, it was worth it all.

Just beautiful beautiful beautiful what a find. Quite peaceful private chalets just the sounds of nature all around you covered in trees bushes flowers it’s a woodland just perfect. It is in a valley so quite hilly I’m not the fittest but took my time to walk around a beautiful site. We had a small lodge for 2 but it had everything we needed fridge oven hob separate bathroom bedroom living room a private terrace a very comfortable chalet. As I said I’m not the fittest person so we drove a lot to some beautiful places and bays so much to see in the area beware of the very narrow roads. It has a small shop for the essentials. We cannot say enough about Churchwood Valley and as for the staff they could not be more helpful and very friendly WE WILL BE BACK we just had a very relaxing time.

It does not have a cafe or bar but that just adds to the charm of Churchwood Valley. We can’t think of anything

It was convenient for us to use as it was only an hour journey from where we live. The beach was a few minutes away and our dogs were able to play on the beach every day last day. Our chalet was above a field overlooking valley small valley with horses and the stream at the bottom, we will return again.

Price shown in the brochure on Booking.com was far less than what we were charged. I don’t top of this. We had to pay additionally for our dogs which left rather a bad taste in our mouth. I made it quite unfordable really when you bring the two elements together, however, we had a nice few days and just sucked up the the additional cost. If you want something basic clean and comfortable, I would recommend this site.

The location was lovely and quiet in the trees. The place was really clean and comfortable. The beach was a short walk and there was a lovely stream for our dog to play in. Great little shop on site but I would do you shopping before you get there if possible. The closest beach is not dog friendly in the Summer.

The place seemed a bit tired. Could do with redecoration and renew some of the accessories. It was only little things really but it seemed bit of a shame as it could be real luxury with little effort. The lamps were the old fashioned energy saving. They could be changed to led. The side lamp had a lamp shade that was falling apart. The sofa had a few stains which could have easily been removed. Having said that - it was really clean and comfortable. Not really safe to walk anywhere apart from the coastal path. It was dodgy walking on the roads.

I don't normally leave reviews but I really loved this place. I'd booked it last minute as I was taking my Son to Plymouth uni. When we got there it was dark but the bed were really comfortable. It was equipped with everything we needed and was immaculate. The next morning when we woke up and opened the blind the views were just beautiful. It's a short walk to the most amazing beach down a little valley with streams. There's so much wildlife and you can hear the owls at night. Am planning to return in October.

the location was perfect, very quiet area with so much nature. there were tree houses which you could add food in and you would see a different bird every time you looked. there is a beach only 10 minute walk away and some very cute paths to take to it. I loved it.

the only thing was the bed, my partner said his back would hurt after sleeping but mine was fine so im not completely sure it was the bed haha.

Beautiful location, staff were very very helpful. Bit tricky to find at night but that's down to us not knowing the area, which is also amazing and peaceful. Take 50p pennies if you need to do laundry. The beach is a few metres away and the cafe staff there are also amazing. My in laws and my family are from Germany so it was the first real impression of the uk for them and they loved it! So now I have to book again..(happily of course)

Loved everything.

Lovely located small holiday park, not far from the beach. The accommodation was surrounded by trees, flowering shrubs and it was just lovely to be able to go outside in the morning and have a coffee listening to the birds. There is a riding school 10 min away so on our walks we could admire horses on the fields. The cabin was lovely, nicely decorated in a modern way with all facilities a small family may require. I was really impressed with a glass coffee maker and a steamer- did not expect that at all. The beds were comfortable, TV of a decent size working well and an electric fireplace was a great bonus too. The driveway was a bit steep but we managed to park our car ok. We liked a small shop on side with all essentials but the best thing were home made scones which we ordered for our last day - lovely locally made treat.

The Wi-Fi was a bit temperamental so most of the time we relied on our own network but the coverage was ok so this was not a big problem.
