Staff were friendly and helpful. The hot English breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable. Location is excellent, with bus stops to and from town immediately outside the hotel. The bar area and restaurant facilities (where we had dinner on the Saturday evening) were attractive and welcoming, and the food excellent. Service was first-class.

As a frequent business travellers we were surprised that there wasn't a safe in the bedroom, nor private safety boxes at reception. A second chair in our (double) room would have been appreciated. For those not wanting the cooked breakfast, or bacon/sausages etc., a selection of cheeses would have been a welcome addition to the breakfast buffet.

There was a feather pillow and quilt on my bed and after a long day travelling and checking in at gone 9:30 pm the staff were more than happy to come and awap my quilt for a non feather one due to my allergies. I hadn't mentioned the pillow as there were 3 others and more than enough just for myself. I put the feather one to one side, when I came back from work the following day the staff had noticed it and changed it themselves with no question which was a very nice and well received gesture.

The free WiFi kept dropping which was a bit annoying when working so I used my work phone to hot-spot.

Nice and clean room. Small but okay for a very short period of time. Nice and warm in the room too. Even though outside were 10-12 degrees, we were very comfortable in the room with radiators off and bathroom window semi-opened, we never needed to close it. ( That side of the building was quiet 😃). Very pleased with the comfort of the room. Soft and clean carpets. Restaurant is good.

Our room window was towards the gap in between building and would have been lovely to see a nice small interior garden, but what we could see was the cover of what was on the ground floor and we could hear the constant noise of some sort of motor rumbling nonstop day or night. Luckily, with windows closed it was bearable. And regarding the comfort of the bed we bith find ot a bit uncomfortable but still managed to sleep on it. If I could, I would put this in a " grey" section if it was one, more than in the darkness of "did not like" section 😊

Staff Alll Very Helpfull. There was hardly any one forr evening meals in reastraunt. There was only one on duty a metradèe HE was Very Good to us alll. Food was excellent . Very clean rooms .lovely shower.. Pool & other facility's good. Enjoyed a swim. I would recommend it. Certainly use again.

AS it was New Years Eve was expecting a bit more fancy table settings. A table cloth & Table decoration or candle would have been nice. Plus nice napkins. It just didn't feel as Christmasy & special.. There was Christmas decorations which were very nicely done..

The room was comfortable, very well-designed, very clean and excellent in every way but it did not have a window - the only natural light came from the bathroom window, which entered the room via the glass panelled connecting door. It wasnt a big problem, i arrived late and was only there to sleep but if i’d been staying longer it wouldnt have suited me (personal opinion). Price a touch on the high side for a room with no window no matter how nice that room was. Staff were nice, parking was fine even though I got there lateish on a Friday, the whole place looked well-kept and well cared for. I’d definitely stay here again.

Just a suggestion, maybe put up a small sign in the upstairs corridor showing the way back to the lift (by the door which you have to go through and then turn left). Plenty of room number signs (really helpful)

OK place, clean and tidy and the breakfast was OK with a good choice or both hot and cold items.

It was stupidly hot in the corridors, yet the hotel had the windows open in the hall ways! This heat made its way into the bedroom and even though i turned all the radiators off, it was still too hot to sleep. I also had the window open in the bedroom-that made the road noise very apparent. I mentioned this to staff in the morning but they said it was their 'winter' policy.

We love staying at the Beeches. It’s amazingly clean, the staff are friendly and a superb location. The gym & spa facilities are just fantastic, nice sized pool, hot tub and sauna are great to chill and relax in….and, very clean! Breakfast is good with a nice selection. City centre is easily accessible from a nearby bus stop. Plus, there is free parking too!!

My only issue was (and was the last time we stayed here) that it’s very hot in the room. There is no AC and a floor fan is not effective to cool you down. However, here’s a tip! Position the fan as near to the open window as possible, I had to pop it on our suitcase for the correct height. Next, open the bathroom window and keep the door open. Cool air will be drawn from outside into the bathroom and out through the main window. The room will be much cooler than the fan uselessly circulating very warm air around the room.

The service was outstanding. Staff were kind and helpful. A perfect location to relax, close to amenities, lovely atmosphere. Quiet considering we stayed around a Bank Holiday weekend. Rooms were tidy and fresh, stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits, cups for both the bathroom and hot drinks as well as toiletries. We loved the inclusive aspect of the gym, pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Breakfast was fresh and constantly checked to ensure food was topped up and not sitting going cold. Fantastic family experience

The ladies toilets in the leisure area were dirty the evening we arrived and we noticed they were still the same the next morning. Bedroom became very hot and stuffy overnight with the windows open and the fan on so we didn't sleep very well in the double room but family in the king sized room didn't have this issue - we think it was the fact of the size of the room. We would definitely book again but explore other room options.

What a lovely hotel. Comfortable, clean, lovely breakfast. The lady who was at the desk just after 5 pm, upon our arrival, was very welcoming and friendly. Night staff was also lovely and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, swimming pool, and jacuzzi . Breakfast was exceptional. Chef was accommodating when my wife asked for a request. Good choices to choose from. The room was comfortable and cosy. One of the best hotels we have stayed in Would definitely stay here again. Would have stayed longer if we could. Lovely location.

The only thing was there was not many other milk alternative for my Wife -only soya milk was there, That's it.

Great location, rooms were clean & comfortable. Leisure facilities were lovely! Parking facilities and included in the price was a good bonus, outside seating area for drinks and meals was also a welcome suprise as the weather was nice to eat outside.Great selection of fresh food for breakfast was reasonably priced and delicious. The best meal by far was the Sunday roast, absolutely beautiful topped with a fab home made yorkie on the top 😋

Only small really in comparison to all the positives, the food was absolutely beautiful however the menu we did feel was limited, especially the children's menu, and food orders for Sunday evening ended at 7pm which we felt was a little bit early.
