Breakfast and staff was good. Location was a little far from town but the bus was convenient coming back up the hill

The rooms are very dark. Need better lighting. If you are not going to have AC you need ceiling fans at least in the room ! Room was very hot at night even with windows open. Your little standing fan helped but a ceiling fan would of been better

We were upgraded to amazing property, beautiful room with view on a forest. Customer service (reception, room service, maintenance) very professional and friendly.

The quality of the std accommodation we booked was very disappointing. View on maintenance/trashcan area or on building site/very busy road. Luckily we were upgraded. The quality of roomservice food was not so great (tasted very average and packed in single-use containers). Felt fast food even though it was a proper dinner with high prices. Light in room very poor:/ and no power sockets next to beds. Location outside of town center, bit of a drive.

The staff that greeted me was wonderful. The young lady, whose name I regret not remembering (she was from Australia), gave me a number of ideas for places to see and things to do. She pulled out a map and marked places of interest. Turned out her suggestions were exactly what I needed. Better than a tour guide. The room I stayed had a balcony on the back with a direct view of the mountains and Tunnel Mountain Meadow. The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job of picking up after me and making the room perfect. When I go back to Banff I shall definitely stay there.

The staff gave us a very good service

One thing that surprised me was the housekeeping when he was cleaning my room . He used glove with what he empty garbage and picked up all dirty things but I saw him to washed the glasses with is dirty gloves and a small sponge that he used for all room in the bathroom sink without soap . That was very gross for me , yuck 🤮. When I got my room the first night, I wanted to use the glasses for a drink, but I remarked that they weren't very clear when I saw him how he washed. I realized it's what he did with the guys they were in the room before me, so you guys have to send it on the dishwasher to sanitizer properly and put a clean one in the room

The rooms were very clean and well decorated. Room looked exactly like the pictures. Very welcoming staff and very hospitable. The amenities were all great and made our stay very enjoyable! Loved our soak in the hot tub after a day in the mountains and finished our night relaxing by a wood burning fire in our room. Enjoyed the robes they provided. Also enjoyed they have fire wood outside our room door making it easy to get and enjoy our fire easily. Overall amazing experience at Buffalo Mountain Lodge.

Honestly no issues. The staff were very kind and accommodating always making sure you had the best stay possible. We even thought it was sweet that they called after we checked in just to make sure everything was going good and said to call if we need anything at all.

Liked the size of the room, in room fireplace was neat, room service was amazing, the view was amazing.

No fridge or microwave, shower head was kinda old and water pressure wasn't so great, the room was cold and baseboard heaters right under the head board makes your head hot. I need a cold pillow to sleep. Not the hotels fault but the navigation to the actual address had us go in circles around the mountain it wasn't until I told the navigation to look for " Buffalo mountain lodge" which then took us to the correct entrance

The fireplace was lovely and well stocked, although we didn't light it because the room was already warm and cozy. The queen sized beds didn't make the room feel cramped - it was very spacious. There were plenty of knowledgeable staff at check-in and check-out that we didn't have to wait in line even though they were busy. The lodge is tucked away from the busyness of Banff, and there is a very convenient and cheap bus that runs from the lodge to downtown Banff.

The cost was high. We only stayed one night and it was reasonable, but it would be hard to justify staying multiple nights unless they do a discount. Having said that, every other aspect of the room, staff, and experience was lovely so I personally found the expense worth it.

The room had a real fire and plenty of wood always available. Good sized room and bathroom with lovely roll top bath and good sized shower. We stayed for Christmas Day and the staff gave us a gift of jam and macaroons and Christmas card very unexpected and very nice. Staff took a luggage to our Lodge, which was very helpful and brought it to reception when we was leaving.

The only 2 things are 1) the bathroom was dusty on the floor behind the door and of the wood panelling around the walls. Also scale on the bath waste and shower head. 2) on Boxing Day the only option for breakfast was a buffet, which was amazing, but very expensive. If we had been told in advance, we could have made other arrangements.

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge. Our room was perfect for my daughter and I, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible - they even gave my daughter a present on Christmas morning. The heated bathroom floors were a welcome relief, as was the ability to park outside the door to our room. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the on-site restaurant and lobby area were an added bonus. I liked that the lodge was located a short drive outside of the main street, but this may have been an issue if we didn't have a car.

We tried the on-site restaurant, and the food was delicious with exceptional service. Queen premier room was cozy and comfortable. Enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. It's one of my very favorite places to stay.

With renovations, parking was tight and a bit tricky with a large SUV. The card payment machine did not work at check-in. Made for a longer check-in process and a bit stressful. Our debit and credit cards worked everywhere else that tried, just not the front desk.
