fresh and modern, good styling and ambience. staff were lovely and location excellent.

the bathroom shower wasn’t very clean. It had hair from previous occupants and tiles were dirty around the base and on the floor. looks like a only a quick wipe over is being done, was a build up of mould starting.

Great location, nice staff, delicious breakfast, fantastic view

I thought there should have been an option of cereral with melon, with or without toast, toppings such as marmalade etc plus a refill of coffee. too much bread, buns with breakfast a la carte menu.

I required a little more yoghurt with the granola and was charged extra for this. It would have been a nice gesture just to provide me an extra small serving of yoghurt. We did not find out until day 5 of seven that we could have asked for a large coffee instead of a small size. No information forthcoming by the staff serving us. Another more annoying situation occured when we removed the top cover on the bed as it was very warm to find the duvet had a splattering of blood present, no ours, so had to request a change of bedding. Not really good enough for the price we paid, we thought.

Great location, great view, walking distance for tennis and shows

We were on the 20th floor facing towards Flinders Station and the view was amazing. The rooms are lovely, bathroom products are great and it is so centrally located that everything is within walking distance or a short Uber ride. The staff were beyond amazing. Everyone we dealt with during our stay was friendly, helpful, happy and accommodating. Food in the restaurant was lovely and we were always pleased with the service there too. Ask for a high floor with a view. Very classy and welcoming without being pretentious.

My sister and her husband stayed in a lower floor room right by the train lines and they said it was noisy. Please not this is not our experience but an observation from family who also stayed there.

Very central location, there's a tram station just across the street so it's very accessible. Also walking distance to Flinders Street station. I had a Filnders View room so the view was fantastic, nice seeing the city from my room window. Still felt quiet even when it's so central and it was busy outside. Room was cleaned daily as well.

Had an issue with my WiFi not working initially but the concierge managed to help me quickly. Other than that, I had a very nice stay.

I loved the atmosphere at this hotel. It seems to attract people on business or solo travellers and so felt quite relaxed. I didn't realise my booking came with a free breakfast and that was a huge bonus. The service in the cafe was great - the staff were friendly, the meals came quickly, and the food was really good.

I was quite high up and overlooking the train station. The view was amazing. The trains were quite loud but I was prepared for that given the location of the hotel but what did surprise me was how noisy the nightclub was during the weekend. I think the windows should be double glazed, that would definitely help.

Perfectly located right next to Flinders St Station. Lots of places restaurants and cafe's nearby. The view from the room was amazing and the room itself was spotless. Very comfortable and enough space to get around. Everything was modern. Staff was super helpful.

1) The Wi-Fi was not great. Speeds were limited and I was having issues during a meeting. There was also a point where I lost connectivity due to some maintenence and I wasn't informed. 2) The sink in the washroom - the tap is too close to the base of the sink, I'm not sure why it was designed that way.

Very conveniently located in Melbourne CBD. The room was modern and clean and well designed with good storage. Good soundproofing - we were near some engine/machinery and wasn't bothered by the sound at all. The room also had some great tech features - Smart TV with built in chromecast and in-room temp control, these were a nice extra touch and easy to use. They were also able to accommodate our booking request which we greatly appreciated. The star of the show was definitely the bed - extremely comfortable and offered us excellent rest during our stay. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. All in all - a great stay, despite slightly higher prices than usual due to the Grand Prix, we felt it was good value for money.

There isn't much not to like but a few small things that could be improved would be the water pressure of the shower and also the check in area is quite small for such a large hotel, it was sometimes a little crowded.

We didn't eat at Vibe, nor use the facilities other than our room. The first room we were assigned was very noisy & I had requested a quiet room. When I went back to reception, the assistant was very understanding & helpful. She changed us to a room which had triple glazing & it was lovely & quiet

The first person we dealt with at check-in was 'Edgar'. He was very unhelpful, slow and unfreindly. When we went back to reception because our room was too noisy, there had been a changeover of staff. The next ladies we dealt with were wonderful. When we were checking out, Edgar was on duty again...we deliberately waited for the other attendant as we didn't want to deal with Edgar a second time.
