Reception staff were excellent (in particular Jamie and James). The room was spacious and the hotel ambience excellent. The duty manager dealt with a check in delay and cleanliness complaint we had very well.

A very strange member of staff casually dressed behind reception who later we realised was some sort of concierge there to help, but he came across initially as some sort of security guard eyeing us suspiciously and interfering with the check in process and undermining the receptionist. We felt ill at ease when he was around. Our check-in process was delayed as although the room had been cleaned it supposedly needed inspecting. This caused an unnecessary hour delay. When we got to the room there were numerous hairs in the bathroom and clearly had not been cleaned properly or inspected! Dirty windows but we were 7 floors up so I guess difficult to clean.

Everything! I chose it for the location and facilities especially the indoor pool and gym.

More a feedback than a dislike: I couldn’t complete room service via online platform, had to call guest services but also because I didn’t have an Australian number. Also room service and the Jin bar aren’t open Monday and Tuesday. Not a big concern just a feedback.

We loved the modern room, the cute surprise detail for our anniversary, the lovely staff, the steam room and the location.

Unfortunately when my husband ordered an omelet for breakfast it never came and there was no communication about what happened but when we said we were leaving the lady told him that she never put the order through and apologised. The pool was nice but it wasn't very deep at all and was always full of children. While I love children, it may have been nice to having a separate pool for adults to be able to do laps. The buffet breakfast wasn't bad however there wasn't all that much choice so it felt a bit pricey for very basic food options. I think adding a free movie option to the TV would be fun. Lastly, I would highly recommend adding signage for where the steam and sauna rooms are located and that they are unisex as a few people asked about this and got lost.

The modern design and indoor heated pool

Beds slightly to hard for my liking, toilet also was a bit funny as the water would continue to run after flushing

The location was very convenient for this particular visit which involved attending a function in the Dockland region. The twin beds were large and comfortable.

The room was pretty sterile, with limited hanging and bench space. Furniture include a small coffee table but only a single chair, despite having twin beds. The bathroom had glass walls, so that the bedroom for lit up when using the bathroom, and there was very poor drainage in the bathroom sink. Having left our room around 11:00am with a light illuminated to request servicing, we were surprised to return around 5:00pm to find that the room had not been serviced. Someone did arrive to make up the room shortly after our return but this was too late for convenience.

The funky art decor, free arcade games, gold detailing made for vibing aesthetics. The high ceiling pool and spa area was luxurious. The king size bed was amazingly comfortable and being able to access chrome tv was a huge bonus! The buffet breakfast was beautifully set out, great variety and great value for money with the $25 when you checked in.

I didn’t like that the sauna was only in the men’s change rooms and the steam room was only accessible from the women’s change rooms, and they didn’t feel very aesthetically pleasing or clean to be in.

Great location, close to the Southern Cross Station which meant we could get the SkyBus from the airport and just an easy 5 minute walk to the hotel. Also very close to Coles and a Liquorland as well as food court at Outlet shopping, made it easy for getting food when needed. Easy to get around Melbourne as short walk to the free tram stops which take you pretty much anywhere you need to go within the main CBD. Also not far to walk, only around 15 minutes to main Bourke Street mall but we appreciated being slightly out of the hustle and bustle. The indoor heated pool and spa was awesome after busy days at the tennis and sightseeing. Lovely coffee machine in the room, great shower! Just had the one drink in the bar, but this was pleasant although air conditioning was so cold we didn't stay long!

The bed whilst a good size was quite firm, so not necessarily uncomfortable just not what we prefer or are used to so this wasn't a highlight for us! Also a shame they didn't have an onsite restaurant for evening meals, though understand this is coming soon. It was just open for breakfast.

Breakfast was lovely - enjoyed the smoked salmon , eggs, bacon and sour dough bread the most. Yum. Bacon was hilight as crispy and delicious. Thank you. Loved the prunes and low fat yoghurt too. I had this every day. Break Room had a nice vibe and one staff member remembered us each day - ❤️. Loved the size of the room.

As we stayed 7 nights would have been nice to change things up a little more at breakfast. Eg. There was a yummy risoni salad on our first day and the other 6 just had a boring green salad. There were mushrooms 2 days but rest of days was tomato. The sausages were always chicken. We lucked out with view from our room as was obstructed by a nib wall. Clever to make it a reading nook but it was not nearly as nice as the view from next doors Room let alone the ones a few doors up which had a clear glass view (not like ours in 525) Went to have a drink at your bar one evening and they didn’t have coke no sugar, Pepsi max or Diet Coke which I wanted to add to a bourbon I wanted to purchase. We were told they couldn’t get any and order would arrive sometime another day.

Comfortable room; good location - not far from trams and station. Laundrette very near if you need it!

I wouldn’t normally mention this but we didn’t get to speak to anyone on departure - there was a funny noise in our room but it stopped during the night (just for hotel’s info). The check-in was slightly disappointing. We arrived 5 minutes before check in time to be told our room wasn’t ready so they would give us a different room. Just give us the other room - don’t start by saying we’re 5 minutes early!!! We decided to go for a drink and coffee one night but they couldn’t do a decaf coffee - yet you could deliver one to our room. Go figure! All small things but they add up. The hotel is fine to stay at though.

Very straight forward, fast check in and check out. Good bedroom configuration with plenty of space. We stayed in a twin double and the beds were great. A mini fridge was available so we bought some fruit and milk for brekie. The air conditioning was quiet and I think the rooms are noise insulated because I could not hear any noises from other gusts or staff.

Our view was not that great, we were looking at the building next door so we could see into the apartments. Therefore we did not open our blinds a lot. Next time I would stay at a room with a different view (which are available at the hotel)
